The Historic Centre of Macau is a historic district with the old town of Macau as the core, which is connected by adjacent squares and streets, including more than 20 historic buildings. Due to the integration of Chinese and Western cultures, most of the buildings in the urban area have the characteristics of combining Chinese and Western cultures. In 2005, it was named a World Heritage Site. It is better to start with the A-Ma Temple when strolling through the historic center of Macau. First, take a look at this ancient temple in Macau and buy two peace talismans. On the left side of the A-Ma Temple, there is also a port authority building in the A-A-Slope Alley, where you can watch this exotic architectural style. Going forward and passing through Mage Street, you will meet the Zheng family mansion by accident. Take a good look at the courtyard structure and Western-style carved window design with Chinese Lingnan characteristics, as well as the ground in front of Yapojing, where many film and television works are located. Turn right to the front of Gangding, you can reach the Gangding Theater, Hedong Library and St. Augustine's Church. Next to Xinma Road, you can see the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau building. If you come here in summer, you can see the special pink color reflected by the sunlight from the walls around the square, which is especially beautiful. You can sit here and rest. Opposite the Civic and Municipal Administration Building is Senado Square, where you can take a walk and buy some souvenirs to take home. On the left side of the front of the conference hall is the Sanjie Guild Hall, which is the Guandi Temple, which is dedicated to the martial sage Guan Yu, and you can go in and worship. On the right side of Guandi Temple is the Hall of Mercy Building, where you can visit the first full-body portrait, skull and funerary cross of Macau Catholic in the museum on the 2nd floor. And at night in the right lane of the Hall of Mercy, it is also a very good experience to take pictures and nostalgia when the lights hanging on the wall at the end of the alley are bright. From the Church of Mercy to the left, you can reach the Church of St. Lawrence, where there are many religious murals to watch. From here, you can walk directly to the lobby alley, and you can reach the Lujia Mansion.  On the left side of the front of Banzhang Hall in the Lu family's mansion is the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary. There are two couplets at the entrance, which are quite Chinese style. Then walk along the St. Paul Street, which is in front of the Rose Hall. When you reach the end of the street, you will see the St. Paul Archway, which is also an iconic attraction in Macau. Don’t forget to take pictures here. Next to the fort is the Macau Museum. The museum is divided into three floors. You can learn about the culture and history of Macau in detail. On the left side of the museum is the ruins of the old city wall, which is a city wall full of vicissitudes. At the end, you will see a relatively small Nezha Temple. From Nezha Temple, turn left and walk to Huawangtang Street to reach St. Anthony's Church. In front of it is the site of the Oriental Foundation, the Guia Fort and Lighthouse, and the Church of Our Lady of Snow. These attractions are linked together. can visit together. It is worth mentioning that this is already the highest peak in the Macau Peninsula, and climbing here is also a good choice.
