Dagao XuanDian was built at No. 23 Sanzumen Street in Xicheng District in the 21st year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1542). It was a Taoist concept of the royal family in Ming and Qing Dynasty. Later generations had many repairs. The hall was situated in the north and facing the South with an area of about 130,000 square meters.
