Architecture is the witness of human history. Every old building has its own unusual past. Every former residence of celebrities bears the accumulation of history. In the summer vacation, the members of the third (7) lollipop squadron of Shangnan Ercun Primary School in Pudong New Area launched a series of exploratory activities on the theme of visiting the former residence of celebrities, making tabloids and writing experiences. On August 13, two teams of the lollipop squadron set out one after another and came to Song Qingling's former residence on Huaihai Road. They visited the footprints of great men and learned about Song Qingling's grandmother's struggle life. In Song Qingling's former residence, the team members listened carefully to the introduction of the lecturer, and had a preliminary understanding of Grandma Song's moving great achievements. The team members learned that this was the place where Grandma Song Qingling lived for the longest time in her life, and was also an important place for her to engage in state affairs. She often holds various state activities in her former residence, meets and banquets with visiting dignitaries of various countries, promotes Sino-foreign exchanges and maintains world peace. The cultural and welfare undertakings for women and children and the publications for foreign propaganda created by her are also brewed and planned here. It is most appropriate to summarize Grandma Song's life with simple furnishings, simple life, elegant temperament and broad mind. Looking at the place where this kind old man lived before, the team members sincerely gave birth to infinite admiration. Team members have expressed that in order to inherit Grandma Song's revolutionary spirit, we also need this spirit of struggle in our life and learning. Although the activity is over, the exploration and thinking of the team members will continue. Through tabloids and writing experiences, the team members record their ideas and encourage themselves to use Grandma Song Qingling's revolutionary spirit to spur themselves on.
