The first exhibition in China by the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, "Morrigio Cartland: The Last Trial", is eye-catching and thought-provoking. Throughout his career, Cartland has been full of humor, ridicule and jokes, and has a skeptical attitude toward established standards of characters and things. The Andy Warhol exhibition is the first panoramic presentation of Warhol's artistic career in China from childhood to old age. The exhibition will be opened in five chapters, presenting nearly 400 works by Warhol, a prolific artist and entrepreneur. He is a painter, sculptor, illustrator, photographer and throughout his career, he has explored artistic expression in emerging media such as publishing, film, music production, television, fashion and drama. He was not afraid to break the boundaries of art, putting Coca-Cola, canned gin soup, stars and even dollars on canvas, creating the art myth of the era of consumption.
