It is a rockfill dam with stones. You can see the whole from just below the dam. The same type of dam includes the Tedori River, Mimoi, and Kuzuryu Dam, but none of them can be seen from directly below the dam, let alone from the side. There is a museum in Asakui City near the dam.

I stayed at the nearby accommodation Harima Fureai no Ie. I took a walk with my dog to the foot of Ta 々 Ryo Dam. Seen from below, it doesn't seem like there is a lake above this.

I went around by car. It takes about 15 minutes by car. Anyway, it's a large dam, but it's hardly visible in the tree 々.
