Shopping in Hong Kong is not only a leisure sport, but also a new discovery. The Yabadian Street around the Hong Kong Island is like this. It should be named after someone's surname in the old British period. It is a very narrow path, curved with the slope of the terrain. But it is a series of many well-known shops, there are fashion trendy restaurants, antiques, art galleries, crafts, snacks, etc., constantly make people shine, very pleasantly continue to visit.

Just a step away (uphill, unfortunately) from the SoHo madness is this little place serving really good quality food. Encouragingly, the menu's not vast. Instead they concentrate on what they do well, which is Mediterranean fare from no particular country. You can go the tapas route or get stuck into the main courses as we did. My companion was all praise for his sea bass with ratatouille, and I enjoyed a very tasty melanzane parmigiano (baked eggplant). Vegetarians, as well as meat-eaters will find a sufficient but not overwhelming choice of enough dishes. The wine list covers all the angles, including wine by the glass at HK$60-HK$75 a glass, a deal in this part of Hong Kong. A good-sized outside terrace caters for smokers and dog-owners. We'll make this little place one of our regular watering holes.
Attended an event at Aberdeen Street so this review relates to a set menu on the night. Food and wines were very good, as was the service and venue generally. I think very good value for money. Chicken liver pate for starter was excellent, accompanied by a light salad and some lovely bread. Main was beef with vegetable, generous serving and nicely cooked. Finished with some excellent cheese with a broad selection. Pricing was very good value and looking at the menu there is a nice range of wines/drinks with pricing in line with what you'd expect for this area and a restaurant of this standard, for those reviewers that thought it expensive they may be more accustomed to buying wine at 7/11 and drinking on the street. Will definitely go back.
I had one brunch and one dinner at Aberdeen Street. The food was great! I really liked the american pancakes! But the staff was a little bit lazy and uninspired. I also think 10 am is a little bit late to open when you offer breakfast.
A friend of mine celebrated her birthday there last week, the venue and the party were great, the food was ok, but unfortunately the service was poor, and we had to deal with staff who were uninspired, giving us the feeling that they were not happy to work there, no smiles, as if we were not welcome. Reading other comments on here, it seems we're not the only ones. I expressed my disappointment by email to the owner who was very defensive and a bit aggressive. You said your staff served as "agreed" and the party ended late, like many other defensive replies. Your service was paid for, you agreed that the party could finish late etc but a smile to the guests, a more friendly manner should be part of any good service. I wanted to explain my dissatisfaction away from such public reviews but was met with hostility and accusation, thus prompting me to write my review.
