the crane used in the construction of kurobe dam is on the north side
Original Text
The first dam you can see when you go south on National Highway 169 from Yoshino is Otaki Dam. There is a vermilion crane on the north side of this area, but it was a modified crane used during the construction of the Kurobe Dam and used for the construction of the Otaki Dam.
169 As you run on Route, you will see the huge building of Otaki Dam. The physical presence is considerable, but it doesn't feel much presence as a tourist resource. I visited this time when I visited Niu Kawakami Shrine.
"Learning construction station" that has become a ruin
Original Text
The dam itself has nothing to mention, but the PR facility under construction of this dam remains as a ruin, which is now a deep tourist spot. It is off limits.
It's empty, so it's perfect for thinking while looking at the dam.

People are sparse because I will not go as long as I say "Let's go to Otaki Dam!". It's empty. Even those who know the museum nearby are vacant (✧Д✧) カッ !! There are few things to see, but it is recommended if you look at the dam carefully.

Buildings
I thought it was a beautiful architecture. I also felt the power. Dam mania may be good. The trees in the parking lot were sober and amazing.
