The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive, creating a warm, homey atmosphere that made all the difference during my stay. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and all the action in Puerto Viejo, yet tucked away enough to offer a calm and restful environment. It’s the best of both worlds. The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable beds and great ventilation. I especially loved the outdoor common area and the garden spaces—great for relaxing after a beach day or meeting fellow travelers. Security is also a strong point here, with lockers, secure gates, and a sense of safety throughout the property. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or in a group, Casa Wolaba offers true value, a serene setting, and genuine hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Viejo.

A beautiful, small hotel in the middle of the rainforest (one hears and sees brulls, birds and more), and only win a few steps away from a dreamy beach. To the next village with a few restaurants you can walk along the natural beach. Dreamfully! The room was very clean and very well furnished and the team around Sebastian and Javier are very pre-eminent. Every time again!
