Turquoise has a lot of potential with its good staff and stunning views of the pyramids of Giza, making it appealing for budget-conscious travelers. However, the uncomfortable beds and the seemingly indifferent attitude of the owner take away from the overall experience. It’s an affordable option, but improvements in comfort and management would go a long way.

We stayed here for 1 month in August, and now we returned again. Indiana Hotel is a great option for affordable accomodation in Cairo. Located in Dokki, a pleasant area with lots of shops, cafes, pharmacies nearby, and the river nile 2 min walk away with beautiful restaurants. The best thing about the hotel is the spacious, big rooms, comfy beds. Large fridge, TV, lots of seating area in the room, Also they include breakfast which makes it better value, you can expect things like Egyptian bread, fresh salad, falafel, and free coffee or tea. The staff are all friendly, accommodating. If you are looking for basic, clean accomodation it's perfect. located in a nice area of Dokki. Recommend cafe Antakh 2min walk away.

After driving through chaotic Cairo, (Our driver was calm and collected), and still in a culture shock, we arrived at the Inn at 3 am. We were politely shown our room. The canteen was always open for coffee, tea and bottled water which we were grateful of in these early hours. The room was clean (including bathroom) and the bedding (cushions included) were fresh. Fridge, tv and water kettle. The breakfast buffet: an assortment of fruit, cheese, breads, eggs – boiled and scrambled, salad and traditional homemade sauces etc. etc. enough for a hearty European or Egyptian appetite. Coffee and tea all day long free of charge! The employees were informative, helpful, attentive and most of all so friendly - like being a visiting family member!! It was a most enjoyable stay that I can truly recommend: an authentic Egyptian warm-hearted experience!!! Thankyou!

Beautifully appointed, modern, and convenient boutique hotel in a prime location a stone's throw from the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum, and with sweeping views of the Giza Plateau's Pyramids. Highly recommended for tour groups, vacationing couples, or backpackers with a variety of room styles available, featuring spacious balconies, numerous functional amenities, tasteful design, and breathtaking views of the Great Pyramids. Hotel also features a rooftop restaurant Heightopia overlooking the only surviving wonder of the world, with extensive and impressive food and beverage offerings with a variety to suit all manner of tastes.

The hotel has been taken over by Hilton. The location and scenery are very good, and the facilities are acceptable. The top floor 44 is the revolving hall, which requires a reservation for dinner, overlooking Cairo. There is a place for sailing on the river not far from the hotel. We recommend sailing. The breakfast is rich and has many choices. The hotel's rooftop swimming pool is only open until sunset at 7 o'clock (this is the case for hotels in Egypt), so you have to go in advance if you want to. The service was average, and it took a long time to deliver luggage to the room (the overall service industry in Egypt is very fast). There is a Nubian restaurant next to it, right by the river. The view is nice, but the food is served too slowly.

The service of the store clerk is very good!!! The guys are very enthusiastic and the waiter at the door is also very reliable! You can see the pyramids from the balcony upstairs. The price of pizza ordered in the store is also very reasonable, and it was delivered to my room. The old man at the door is also very good! He always helps us and always smiles and guides us! The garden is also very good! It really exceeded expectations! The only drawback may be that it was a bit cold when we stayed in January because the hotel air conditioner only had cold air🥹

I had a very happy stay. It is the best choice for traveling in Cairo. I was also very satisfied with the buffet for dinner at the hotel. The price was quite reasonable. It was very romantic to eat facing the pyramids. It is 5 minutes away from the north gate of the pyramids. It is very suitable to go there early in the morning when there are no tour groups. Stayed 3 nights and the rooms were comfortable and the service was exceptional. I usually don't write reviews, but this property deserves it. The entire staff was very helpful and accommodating to ensure their guests were comfortable. Omar A\Azem deserves extra recognition. He works in the main restaurant and he really went above and beyond to make sure we were well served every day. We left our cell phone at the table after a meal and he was so courteous to run after us as we were entering the elevator to return it. Thank you Omar for your exceptional service. The Sheraton Cairo is successful because of employees like you.

WOW WOW WOW, is all I can say about this hotel, I loved my whole experience, check in is 24 hours and we arrived at 4:30am and was greeted by happy staff who were very welcoming. The pool is warm and open 24/7 it’s on the roof where there is a manned restaurant which is also 24/7 and the staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. We watched the pyramids at sunrise from the rooftop bar, the photos of the view don’t do it justice. Towels are provided at the pool. Also Hassan provides a great Massage by the pool. It was my sons 30th birthday and all the staff knew and stopped him to wish him a great day. They even made a massive cake and all the staff came and sang happy birthday. Everyone made sure our every wim was catered for. The rooms where massive and exceptionally clean. Its also close to a selection of shops and supermarkets. I honestly don’t have a bad thing to say about this hotel. I can’t wait to go back in January.

Don't be fooled by the rundown lobby and tiny elevators. The room was very clean, and we, a couple with two children, had a comfortable stay. All service staff are very welcoming. Similar to domestic serviced apartments, the price is affordable. There is a supermarket downstairs at the intersection and it is very convenient to get some food. You can see the pyramid from the rooftop. It gets a bit cold at night during the Chinese New Year, so be sure to bring a windbreaker or slightly thicker clothes. But it's very hot during the day. Hygiene: very clean Facilities: Room facilities are average but very clean. The lobby and elevators are so old that they look like scenes from a ghost movie. Environment: When you actually enter the hotel, the view from the rooftop is very good, but there will be a power outage. Service: Every waiter is warm and friendly.

It's a nice place especially if you want to be close to the pyramids, antiques and it's a touristic place to enjoy in Egypt, I recommend it .for foreigners it's a suitable price for economic trips and interesting to ride a horse and Camel in the desert

I actually travelled October of 2022, but the system wouldn’t let let select that. I travelled alone to Giza for a few days before joining a group in Luxor. This hotel was wonderful. I wanted a place near the pyramids and I even had a view of them from my bed! I contacted the hotel before my arrival to let them know that I have Celiac and would need gluten-free food. They assured me that they could accommodate me, and when I arrived they touched base with me to assure again. Breakfasts were included and they made sure I had lots to eat (while sitting on a terrace overlooking the pyramids 😍.) I booked a tour with them as well and had a great day, they alerted the restaurant that we went to for lunch about my gluten-free needs as well. For my private tour, they arranged a trip to the museum, a perfume place, a camel ride around the pyramids, visiting the pyramids and the great sphinx. It was fantastic! Just be forewarned, there is no elevator, but they will carry your bags. The rooms are modern, very clean, and have everything you need. I have recommended this hotel to several people already.

We traveled to this place with our infant with the only expectation of getting a pyramids view and considering the heat, flexibility to be very close to the pyramids at Giza. The location is one of the best in the vicinity, and gives a direct view of the Sphinx. We were welcomed by warm staff (Duniya) and greeted to the terrace wherein the pyramids and the sphinx were lit at night. It was a dusty evening, but the overall atmosphere was great. The incident that has set this stay apart from the others was a personal episode. The next day we chose to visit the major locations of Cairo side like the NMEC and Khan-al-Khalili, and some shopping. En route, my wife lost her phone and we were extremely stressed out in the evening, with all her contacts and memories on the phone. This is the instance when the hospitality of the hotel came into picture. Nearly everyone on the reception staff was aware of the situation, and they started going out of their way to help her. Be it calling the taxi at night and asking (more like instructing) to do whatever it takes to find the phone, to go at each and every place in Cairo and Giza we had been. Language is a constraint, and at each and every instant we wanted a person of trust to translate Arabic to English for us, and in addition, to provide guidance. Ashour at the reception constantly kept calling on my phone to ask updates. They even arranged for a late breakfast for us. To cut the story, we did FIND the phone and there was a happy story in the end. I have to place emphasis on the fact, that Cairo and Egypt functions on a different set of principles that involves a lot of over selling. If we can separate that emotion, and trust on such people who are really willing to help (they still might want to sell you a package ;)), sets the experience apart. They even treated our young kid with a friendship band. The restaurant food quality could be improved, but please remember, first and foremost its a tourist place with a very high footfall. I would like to visit Cairo again, and without a beat stay at this place. Thanks Duniya and Ashour for us to make our stay a very memorable one.

Next to the pyramid, you can clearly see the pyramid, and there is a pyramid light show at night. The hotel needs to bring its own slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste. Facilities: Older. Hygiene: The hotel's hygiene is still decent, and it's just outside the hotel door. Environment: Mainly for the pyramid, because it is a bit noisy next to the scenic spot. Service: I didn't ask for any additional services, the general requirements will be met, the hotel's breakfast is not many, eat enough, recommend fried eggs, to tell the waiter.

The hotel is in a good location and has a nice environment. The boss is very enthusiastic and has a stuffed toy named Ai Li. He interacts with dog lovers on the roof every day. It is very cute. They also provide breakfast for two days. The photos on the roof are great. Invincible movie, I will stay here next time

If you want to stay in a good location with magnificent view of the pyramids this hotel is your best affordable option.. very clean, staff are very attentive and helpful especially Mahmoud from the reception, and the view is mind blowing. This hotel is facing the new Grand Egyptian Museum which is not fully opened yet, but the visit is highly recommended. Rooms are big and spacious although a bit dated

The owner was very kind. The rooms were also very clean and I would love to stay at this hotel again. I would highly recommend this hotel to Japanese people.

The food was another highlight of our stay. The variety and quality of dishes offered in the buffet and à la carte restaurants were top-notch. Whether it was the breakfast spread with freshly baked pastries or the diverse international cuisine for dinner, every meal was a culinary delight. The staff’s attentiveness in accommodating dietary preferences also made dining enjoyable.

It was two wonderful days in Gisea. Good hotel: cozy room, pool chic, breakfast. We liked it. In September the fire was very nice to be there. I would like to note the work of the manager of Iness - from the first minutes of our arrival to the very departure she helped us, helped us to settle, choose and look at the room, then organized us a transfer to the pyramid, a taxi. We stayed at the hotel for the last night. We were going to visit the Pyramids the next day, so we decided to stay near the scenic spot so it was easy to walk there. The pyramid view room is a bit noisy near the roadside. It's not a big problem if you bring earplugs.

Quite frankly, it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Cairo. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very hospitable and deals with the guests. I felt at home from the kind treatment that I dealt with from the staff, especially from the internal supervision staff. I especially thank Miss Fatma, as she is one of the most helpful employees. I really want to visit this hotel again for this respectful and high hospitality

The hotel is relatively clean and new. Bed linen and towels are normal. The location is convenient: on the ground floor there is a good Yemeni restaurant, next to it there is a good coffee shop, the metro is close. The main attractions of Cairo are equidistant from the hotel. The air conditioning system smells terribly of cigarette smoke, if possible - do not turn on the air conditioning. Without a ”bribe” they give rooms with windows on the highway. Demand a replacement!

well located hotel, courteous staff, great dining room, fairly varied breakfast but the cleaning of the rooms and especially the bathrooms needs to be improved

This hotel was one of the accommodations where we stayed during our organized tour. We had 3 rooms 401, 404 and 405. The rooms and bathroom are spacious. The beds are fine, the neighborhood is quiet compared to the rest in Cairo. The rooms are very noisy, but we were outside the high season so there was relatively little noise. ATM is around the corner. The breakfast was reasonable. We are used to getting coffee and tea ourselves, but the staff will do that for you. Important: at least it is clean. So if you are looking for a hotel in this area, I would safely recommend this one. You will receive a WiFi code at the counter, which is valid for one day and then you have to get a new code at the counter.

Want a big bed room is gone. . But the room was clean and the front desk was good. It is very convenient to go to the Nile for 10 minutes. You can see the city on the terrace. There are also many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The location is good.
