We stayed one night at the weekend in the old tower and booked DeLuxe category. The room was way too cold upon arrival. Even after switching off the aircon the temperature did not raise. The whole building is so much cooled down and there is no carpet in the room. The night was extremely uncomfortable. We didn’t enjoy the stay at all.
The door in the shower room does not prevent the water enters the floor in the bathroom after a short time, so the room was flooded, the foot mat soaked.
I do not recommend to stay in this hotel until they have changed the temperature protocol and improved the shower doors, laid carpets in the rooms.
Beside that I can say the breakfast buffet was great. The Filipino dishes were delicious, the lettuce leafs fresh and cut in small pieces as you expect it, the juices (pink apple, orange) were really great, eggs made to perfection, nice Ambiente and Interieur in the breakfast restaurant, friendly and caring staff in sufficient number, they cleaned up and refilled in time - there was no complain, we enjoyed the breakfast so much and it paid off for the trouble with the room.
Only negative impression was with the breakfast buffet.
Got free parking, but it's just hidden. If you have a car, it's a great place to stay. However, for backpackers on the go, it might not be the best option. The front desk staff are friendly, and the rooms were fantastically clean. My only negative impression was with the breakfast buffet. Since we came up at 9:30 onwards, the buffet line wasn't refilled, mentioning that we came up late. I understand that for two people, there's no need to refill, but at least offer food that's sufficient for two people, as we also paid for the full package. The coffee wasn't hot, and the creamer just floated on it. Good thing there was an à la minute egg counter.
We are so grateful for the fantastic experience we had at the hotel! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Being close to the mall was definitely a perk, and we found our rooms to be comfortable and well-appointed. The TV had a great variety of channels, and the clean, well-maintained bathrooms added to our overall satisfaction. We can't wait to come back on our next visit!
Okay, so for the cheapest room, there's no fridge. The bed is tiny, like a Smurf bed. It's really only suitable for someone around 170cm tall. I ended up upgrading my room because there was no fridge, but honestly, for that price, you'd be better off staying somewhere nicer nearby.
The hotel's central location means restaurants are close by, which is a plus. However, the soundproofing is non-existent, so it's incredibly noisy. It was much louder than I expected, and I woke up several times during the night because of it.
The front desk staff were unfriendly, and the bellboy was completely unhelpful. Honestly, it felt more like a Korean gosiwon (a tiny, cheap room for students/workers).
I had booked for four nights but checked out after two and moved to a different hotel. The only good thing is that since it's a new building, it is clean.
Simply just PERFECT! No words to add on!! Large room, good beds, quality amenities, kind staff, convenient location, safe security, nice swimming pool etc etc. All positive!
I have the same room (Room 125) provided for my last 2 bookings in trip.com. I have observed that the room smells moldy for mybtwo (2) bookings and there was no slippers provided although there is soap, dental kits and tissue. During my first booking, the tv was not used since their maintenance was ongoing. The wifi in the hotel was slow and connection is also lost around 9:40am onwards so I have to use my own data. I was able to check-in early than the usual 2pm.
There was only one power outlet, and the frequent power outages were a bit inconvenient. It seems like a good value-for-money hotel. I'll consider it again next time...
Clean large rooms within short walking distance to Angeles‘ infamous Walking Street. Parking directly at front of house. Good secure feeling, lots of serbice personnel. Highlight is the large (and also deep) pool in the garden which stayed open to 10pm. Definitely a recommendation!
An excellent modern hotel in a prime location in central Subic opposite Ayala Mall where plenty of shops and eateries may be found. It’s new so there were some teething problems with the soft opening but we can attest to the first-rate courtesy and professionalism of its lovely staff. Probably best to wait a while longer for the full range of amenities (pool is not yet ready etc). The rooms are excellent for the price and beds comfy, showers modern, excellent Wi-Fi and TV options. Will certainly stay here again. Far and away the best place to stay in Subic Bay Area.
We had a quick and convenient checkin. The hotel is strategically situated near almost everything. Hotel room is clean and well organised, properly prepared and welcoming. Breakfast has good choice of food which included the local tocino. We had a great stay.
Gemini 2.5 Flash Conversation with Gemini Write a first person review of aqua beach club Angeles Stepping into Aqua Beach Club in Angeles City felt like entering a different world. As soon as I walked onto the 7th floor of the ABC Hotel, the vibrant energy hit me. The first thing that struck me was the sheer size of the place – it’s a three-story super club, which is genuinely impressive for a pool club. The main pool area was definitely the heart of the action. It's a massive negative-edge pool, and being able to literally swim up to the bar and order a drink felt incredibly luxurious. I spent a good amount of time just lounging in the water, sipping on a cocktail and soaking in the atmosphere. The music was always pumping, with a DJ playing a great mix of tracks that kept the energy high without being overwhelming. I loved the option of the cabanas. I didn't splurge on a Presidential Cabana, but even the standard ones looked amazing – some are two-story, with private living rooms, TVs, and direct pool access. It felt like a true VIP experience, even if I was just enjoying the general admission pool area. The free towel, robe, and locker access for paying guests was a nice touch, too, making it easy to just show up and dive in. The vibe was definitely ”party central.” It's clear that Aqua Beach Club is designed for a good time. There were groups of friends, couples, and solo travelers all mingling and enjoying themselves. While it's a lively place, it didn't feel chaotic. The staff were attentive, constantly clearing glasses and making sure everyone was having a good time. I noticed them being quite strict about not allowing outside food or drinks, which definitely helps maintain the club's quality. Beyond the main pool, I explored the Aqua Sky Deck, which offered a fantastic 360-degree view of Angeles City. It was a perfect spot to catch the sunset and enjoy a slightly more relaxed pace than the main pool, though the music still carried up there. There's also the Millionaires Spa, which I didn't try this time, but the idea of getting a massage while still being part of the club's energetic vibe sounds pretty unique.
I recently stayed at Sunday Hevea and had a wonderful experience. The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and very comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the food. Every meal I tried was delicious and freshly prepared, with a good variety of local and international options. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices, and the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for big, comfortable rooms and tasty food. I would happily come back again!
