Hotels With Pool in Salzburg State, Austria

I booked for three nights and when I checked in, the hotel staff initially couldn't find our reservation. After some confirmation, we were able to check in smoothly. We were given a room on the second floor, but once inside, we found the mini-fridge was broken. So, I went downstairs and asked the front desk to switch our room. The new room was further inside. The fridge worked, but the air conditioning wasn't very cold. Luckily, it wasn't too hot at night, so it was fine. I'd read reviews mentioning some guests had items stolen, so we didn't leave any valuables in the room and kept our suitcases locked. However, when the towels were replaced daily, I'm not sure if it's because we didn't leave the floor mats on the ground or what, but they were always taken away and not replaced (it's also possible the hotel doesn't provide them). The plastic bottles I intended to return were also taken (but that's quite normal, so it's fine). The area around the hotel does feel a bit desolate, possibly because it's behind a department store and next to a construction site. We could hear hammering from the construction site in the mornings. It's quite close to the train station and bus stops, but for the price we paid, I think it was significantly overpriced. The hotel staff offered us free luggage storage (they mentioned guests normally have to use lockers). In the afternoons, there's iced water and small cookies available on the first floor.

Truly exceptional place to visit. The setting is incredible, the hotel is pristine, the food and beverage is excellent and the service is world class. Truly has to be the cream of the crop in Austria.

This hotel is located on the outskirts of Salzburg, offering beautiful scenery with mountains in the front and a lake in the back. It has free parking and the rooms are spacious with good facilities. There's also a private beach area behind the hotel with lounge chairs for sunbathing.

I have lived in a more satisfactory hotel in a multi-country tour of Europe. It is a mountain road of a small castle. It is very good to park. The hotel has its own small parking lot. After entering the door, the staff welcomed us warmly and let us sit in the bar with free welcome drinks, the hotel is said to have existed in the 14th century and has been renovated and well maintained. There is a nice fountain in front of the gate that feels aristocratic. There should be more than 20 rooms in total, the room is clean and warm, the view outside the small balcony is the entrance garden. There is also a welcome fruit plate and private welcome letter in the room. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant in the hotel is a star Michelin, the food is delicious in many Michelin restaurants, in addition to the dishes there are many appetizers and petit fours desserts. There are also many types of breakfast (the European general breakfast is relatively simple), and you can even order foie gras, caviar, steak, etc. Overall, the service is very warm, you can feel the sincerity and enthusiasm of the service staff, and Christmas in an overseas holiday can be said to be very touched.

Absolutely loved my stay! Location was great, it was an easy ~15-20 walk from the train station and within 10 minute walk to either the Steinbergbahn or the Asitzbahn. Staff were friendly and amazing. I booked a single room and got upgraded to a suite! The mountain view from the room was gorgeous. I only stay one night this time but will definitely want to return for a longer stay next time
