The rooms are spacious, well serviced, clean with great views (depending on where you are located of course)
I loved the balcony space ,table and 2 wicker chairs and was overlooking the golf course with midday to evening sunshine - perfect.
Breakfast had great choices and was kept continually stocked up. Staff were helpful and efficient.
Check in was smooth.
The South African Handyman (whose name I didn't get) deserves a special mention for being great at his job and very personable.
I had a lava shell massage in the Spa - wonderful - again didn't get the person's name. Maybe name badges or encourage staff to introduce themselves might be a good idea
It's a great location. 30 mins walk to town centre - good footpath, easy drive.
Definitely recommend. Had a great stay.
Was a solo traveller and felt very safe.
Junior suite perfect for family stay!
A two room accommodation with kings size bed in one room and sofa bed in the other room.
Dining table and chairs really helped a lot with room service meals.
Restaurant meals also good quality and good value.
View is of construction site but it was over the weekend so not noisy.
Great stay and recommend the room as a larger family room if the rooms with the two double beds leave no space for cots or prams.
Having stayed at the Holiday Inn Oxford on three separate occasions now, I can wholeheartedly say it is a truly outstanding hotel and has become my firm favourite whenever I visit the area. Each stay has been consistently excellent, exceeding my expectations every time.
From the moment you walk in, the check-in process is always smooth, efficient, and handled by genuinely friendly and welcoming staff. They make you feel valued right from the start.
The rooms are consistently spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed. The beds are incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep after a busy day exploring Oxford or working. The bathrooms are modern and clean, and the overall room maintenance is clearly a high priority. I've always found the rooms to be quiet, providing a peaceful environment.
What truly sets this Holiday Inn apart, in my experience, is the exceptional level of service across the board. Every staff member I've encountered, from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant team, has been professional, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. They consistently go the extra mile to ensure guests have a pleasant stay.
The hotel's facilities are great, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of tasty options to start the day right. The location is also very convenient, offering easy access without the stress of navigating the very centre of Oxford, especially if you are driving.
Based on my repeated positive experiences, I cannot recommend the Holiday Inn Oxford highly enough. It offers reliable comfort, fantastic service, and great value. It's clear they take pride in their hotel and their guests' satisfaction. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else on my future trips to Oxford!
The hotel is great. Very responsive. Some tourists were smoking and drinking in their room with room door opened, the whole corridor became smoky and smelly, as soon as we called, we were given a different room on different floor.
The bed was really uncomfortable. It's a cheap bed with springs that you can feel and when any of you move it disturbs the other as the bed shakes. I would have thought this hotel would have better quality mattresses, id rather stay in a travel lodge next time
The Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel is conveniently located just 10min from Thame and 15min drive from Oxford, making it a great place to stay for those looking to travel into the city. Set at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, this hotel caters perfectly to both business and leisure stays. Guests can choose from standard and superior room options, all of which are comfortable with modern decor and luxurious touches.
The hotel environment is very good. Although it is about 15 minutes' drive from the center of Oxford, it is also very convenient for tourists who drive by car.
A large lawn is next to the Tom River. It is great for running or walking in the morning.
The facilities are also new. For a British country hotel, I think it is already very good. Each room on the first floor also has a small outdoor table.
The hotel's own restaurant tastes good. The staple food is 25 pounds per portion, which is a lot, but it is a bit salty.
The only shortcoming is that I booked a king-size bed room, but the front desk gave me an ordinary standard king-size bed room. Fortunately, I can add an extra bed (15 pounds), otherwise I must have to deal with them.
Ctrip is not kind either. It charged the premium room fee for a king-size bed (nearly 1,000 more expensive) but did not do the job. The English confirmation letter says: kingbed, and the corresponding bed should be super kingsize. The hotel thinks it is kingsize, which is 1.5m in the UK, and super kingsize is 1.8m.
The environment of this hotel is really good. It is close to the golf course and has a free gym. The rooms are quite large and clean. One large bed and one small bed are suitable for families, but it is far away from Bicester Village, about 9 pounds.
Excellent location! Super clean. Bed was too soft and small. (Used to a superking) felt like I was going to roll off as too soft. Nice touch to see a welcome note on TV on arrival.

GGuest UserPlace was great, lots of room. Free WiFi though quite slow. A shopping centre over the road and not too bad priced. My only complaint is it's miles from the city centre, it cost £37 to get to from there to the hotel and getting back it took like 20 mins for an Uber to even accept to pick me up from there

AAnonymous UserThe stay was quite nice !Check in was very flexible for my timing. I would suggest a little bit more cleanliness. There is a towel left on the shower room floor. Could have provided a complimentary water bottle? ( At least one for a room) Because even other normal stays provide this. But apart from this everything went nice and smooth.

TtigasIt was nice stay. The location was not that great. Breakfast was not buffet but with nice view though the weather was bad that time. The kettle has leftover water and has a lot of scales. The changing room and the showers in the pool was freezing.
