Aman is the best hotel in Luang Prabang. It is located in the center of the town. It is a 5-minute walk to the Foreigner Street Night Market. Aman's service is impeccable. Breakfast and dinner are all served at the hotel. The quality of the catering is online. I participated in the hotel's charity and Mekong River cruise. It costs extra but the price is acceptable. You can use the hotel's electric car to pick you up anywhere in the town. In short, Aman will take your vacation experience to a new level.
Lovely hotel directly at the river. Beautiful balcony for breakfast and restaurant food, another terrace directly at the river for relaxing and reading. Rooms are spacious and clean. Walls not too thick though. Stuff is super friendly and welcoming. Free airport/train station shuttle and shuttle to the city center.

Nice swim up pool and overall amenities in great condition. Big comfortable and well equipped rooms. Shuttle into the center of Luang Prabang whenever needed. Definitely recommend this great hotel. Thank you all for looking after us so well.

I recently stayed at Choasis in Luang Prabang, and it was truly fantastic. The hotel is brand new and the quality of everything – from the rooms to the decor – was top-notch.
Located in a very peaceful part of the city, it’s the perfect place to unwind and relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed.
Francis, the manager, was amazing and went out of his way to make my stay memorable. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty of options, and the food from the restaurant was incredible – the Thai chef really knows how to create great flavors. I highly recommend Choasis to anyone visiting Luang Prabang!
Both good and not so good….first the good: nice hotel, room was large and a great view of the river; pool is nice and the staff were generally friendly. The lady was superb as was one of the male front desk reception. The other male (worked the evenings more) never really paid attention to you as he had his head buried in his phone about 95% time…not necessarily unfriendly, but just didn’t really care. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport, but there’s only one vehicle so it may conflict with the time you need it if someone else is using the service already.
The not so good: the location is quite far from the center where most of your time is spent. They do offer a drop off service, but it ends about 5pm-ish so if you’re out for the day and want to return to the Center for a meal then they’ll need to get a Tuk Tuk for you. We ended up renting a motorbike and always had to use TukTuks as we would come back and try to return later for dinner and drinks. Also the breakfast…there is only one option: noodle soup and they’ll give you some fruit. It was okay, but when I paid for breakfast I thought there would at least be another option. Lastly, you can hear everything in the whole place. If other guests are loud (which we had a few), you can hear them quite clearly in your room. Overall, I would not stay again mainly for the location being a bit far from the center. While disappointing, the breakfast wasn’t terrible, just limited.
Manyo Hotel and Resort is a new and lovely place to relax in Luang Prabang, Laos.
The rooms are spacious and modern, with all the amenities needed. The staff are incredibly friendly and always greet you with a smile. One of the highlights of the resort is the swimming pool, which makes the complex even more beautiful.
The location is also good, it’s not on the famous street but is very close to all the attractions. Also, you can rent a motorbike with them and they will bring it to the door, which is very convenient.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Luang Prabang, this resort is definitely a great choice!
Facilities: The hotel facilities are relatively complete, with free laundry, gym, tea table, chess table, and complete toiletries in the room, basically in accordance with domestic standards;
Sanitation: The room is relatively clean and cleaned in time every day;
Environment: The layout of the whole hotel is good. The hotel lobby is in front and the swimming pool is behind the lobby. It is good for swimming or playing with children. There are two-story accommodation rooms on both sides of the swimming pool with balconies. The room area is generally large. I like it very much.
Service: The boss is a fellow Yunnan compatriot. The service is warm and thoughtful. There will be warm reminders for accommodation after booking the hotel. Going to the hotel is simple and clear. There are also airport pick-up or drop-off services. We went to the hotel according to the boss's instructions at the time. We were dropped off at the station on the return trip. It is very convenient to go to Yangren Street. There are cars to pick up at any time, less than 10 minutes by car.
A one-day tour (for 2 people) is provided for a two-night stay: This special project is very good, including the visit to the West Falls, the Grand Palace, etc. When you come back from the waterfall, you can drink rice field coffee and eat Laotian specialties. Of course, you have to pay for your own meals. The food the boss took us to eat was delicious and cheap, very comfortable. In the morning, we went to participate in alms and visit the night market. The boss also accompanied us throughout the whole process. The whole process was like a private tour guide. The arrangement was very thoughtful, including boat rides and elephant rides. The boss can arrange thoughtfully, of course, the cost is at your own expense.
Overall, I am very satisfied and comfortable.
Perfect Vacation Experience! Chinese Service + Super Convenient Shuttle – A Laotian Hidden Gem Hotel That Excels in Every Detail!
Choosing this hotel was the best decision for our Luang Prabang trip! It absolutely deserves a five-star rating and is highly recommended to all Chinese travelers! 👍
The rooms are spacious and bright, and meticulously cleaned every day. The pool is an absolute highlight! Jumping into the cool pool on a hot afternoon and swimming a few laps under the palm trees is incredibly refreshing, instantly rejuvenating you. Plus, it's super photogenic! 🌴💦
✔️ The complimentary shuttle service is incredibly convenient and stress-free! Upon arrival at the high-speed rail station, we were greeted by a staff member holding a sign, and our return transfer was equally prompt. Even better, they offer free pick-up and drop-off within a 3km radius of the city center! We could call for a ride to the night market, Royal Palace, or Wat Xieng Thong anytime, saving us a lot on tuk-tuk fares!
✔️ Effortless tour arrangements: The front desk can directly help arrange shared vans for Kuang Si Falls (cheaper than external quotes!) and also for the alms giving ceremony. Drivers arrived promptly at the hotel, so we didn't have to worry about a thing.
The front desk has wonderful Chinese-speaking staff! Communication was absolutely seamless. Getting advice on attractions, exchanging money, and booking transport was incredibly smooth. She even gave thoughtful recommendations for riverside restaurants popular with locals – delicious and reliably good! For elderly travelers who aren't fluent in English, this is an absolute lifesaver! 🇨🇳
Breakfast isn't just a simple buffet. The Laotian noodle soup is incredibly flavorful and fresh – truly exceptional! There are freshly made omelets, super sweet tropical fruits, and rich, aromatic coffee. We ate it for two days straight and never got tired of it; it's worth waking up early for! 🍍☕
The hotel also has several adorable resident cats – a definite bonus for cat lovers! From its facilities to its service, everything made us feel incredibly comfortable. The value for money is outstanding. We'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Luang Prabang! 💯
Facilities: Very good
Hygiene: Very good
Environment: Very good
Service: Very good
The hotel is a little bit far from Bushi Night because there is a bridge in the middle where cars cannot pass, so you need to go around.
The hotel can ride bicycles for free, but you need to rent a motorcycle, which is very convenient
Breakfast is also OK, one bowl of rice noodles per person, limited, very delicious
There is a younger brother at the front desk who speaks a little Chinese
The environment is very good, the room is also large, it is a bit cold in January because there is no water.
The most perfect thing about this trip to Luang Prabang is booking this hotel. Manager Song Fan is very nice. We went to the foreigner street to play, and he sent us out. Later, we got lost, so he drove to pick us up. Full of security! People are very careful, and their Chinese is also very good, and communication is barrier-free!
Secondly, the hotel's meals are very delicious, and there are no blind spots! As soon as you come in, there are ice wet towels to wipe your hands and delicious lemon honey tea~
The sleeping environment is very quiet at night, and the pillows are also very comfortable. My mother is the kind who can't sleep with a little noise, but she slept very well in this hotel for two nights👍
The facilities include SPA gym, and free afternoon tea
In addition, it is very good, very good, very good! !

Great
NNuytsiaFloribundaOur stay had a lot of high points and a lot of low points.
Starting with the high points, the grounds and room were incredible. Our experience at the spa was one of the best we’ve had. The cocktails and Laos-style burger we had for lunch one day were phenomenal. The staff were charming and very accommodating.
However, there were a few aspects that were far below the experience expected of a 5 star hotel. First, cocktail service around the pool was abysmal. On almost every occasion we had to go searching for a staff member to take our order, and then the cocktails more often than not took more than half an hour to arrive. This is despite the fact that we seemed to be the only people ordering F&B at that time, i.e. they were not busy at all.
Second, the breakfast was a disappointment every day - we were told we could order eggs or noodles, and had to repeatedly press the staff to find out what type of eggs and noodles, and we only discovered on the last day that there was a menu with additional options. We ordered poached eggs on toast, and the eggs had not been drained of excess liquid, and the bread was entirely soaked through. An order of waffles took over an hour to come out - first it was delivered as a pancakes, and then they just forgot about it despite repeated follow ups. The “local” Laos options lacked flavor - very little of the herbs and spice that makes Laos food great. I think this and the pool service issue are primarily the result of a lack of training and instruction for staff - they were clearly doing their best, but did not know what to do.
Third, the pool area needs a lot more spent on maintenance. The decking is cracking and falling apart. The mosaic tiles in the pool are falling apart, A LOT of the tiles are missing, and I got a very large laceration on my forearm from the sharp edge of a tile sticking out. If this pool were in a western jurisdiction, it would not meet health and safety standards.
Fourth, the gym was not worth visiting if you want to lift weights. Possibly the worst weights offering I’ve seen for a hotel of that price and with that much space.
We want to reiterate how great and enthusiastic the staff were. I think this is primarily a management oversight, training, and maintenance capex issue.

WWeaver328442Although this hotel is not located in the town of Luang Prabang, it takes 20 minutes by tuk-tuk (the road is not very good), this should be the most special hotel in the world. I especially experienced the tent room, and it was definitely a unique experience to fall asleep every day listening to the sound of the river. The food in the hotel comes from its own organic farm, and there are many projects to experience. This is definitely a good place to escape from the world. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the center of Luang Prabang.
SShiv KamleshkumarMy 4 night stay at The Grand Luang Prabang was excellent! The hotel is beautiful. It was a former palace during colonial times and I loved the plentiful lily pads, lotus flowers, and dok champa trees. The staff were also truly incredible. While the hotel is a bit far from downtown Luang Prabang, they were always willing to drive me there for dinner or to explore the night market, and it was really appreciated. If you want to have a special stay at a truly unique hotel, book with The Grand Luang Prabang, it will really add to your overall experience.
GGuest UserHad such a wonderful and amazing time staying with Pullman. Really well maintained despite the low season and loved the breakfast and hospitality extended to us! Thankyou and we will be back.

GGuest UserThe hotel is just opposite Aman, the location is very good and easy to find, and it is convenient for shopping. The interior is beautifully decorated and can be seen to be carefully maintained.
But maybe the service of the previous hotel was too good, the service of this hotel always makes people feel a little bit short, it can only be said to be average.
There are not many types of breakfast, the shower room takes a long time to get hot water, and the water pressure is unstable and sometimes hot and sometimes cold. There is no kettle in the room.

XXinyixiaohuajiaThe room is warm and comfortable. I especially recommend the swimming pool. It's great. It's suitable for family outings. The hotel is large and the facilities are new. I will come back to experience it next time I have the chance. The recommended environment is very cost-effective
