I stayed at Im Chehr B&B in Grindelwald , the experience was very unforgettable and highly recommended! The owner of the B&B was warm and thoughtful, greeted us at the train station in advance, and also helped to push the luggage, which made people feel very intimate. The owner introduced the supporting facilities around the B&B in detail, so that we quickly adapt to the environment. The rooms are clean and warm, the layout is full of home feeling, comfortable and relaxing. The location of the homestay is excellent, 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, 10 minutes to the train station, whether it is to Jungfrau or First Mountain, it is very convenient, suitable for passengers who explore the surrounding attractions. The overall environment is quiet and the service is meticulous, making people feel the warmth and beauty of Switzerland. This homestay is cost-effective, definitely an ideal choice for travel in Grindelwald , it is worth every passenger to stay!

We made a short trip to this beautiful area. There are many beautiful places in and around Wangenried to walk, play and enjoy. Quiet and yet central for excursions. We liked it very much, we felt very comfortable. So we look forward to the next time! :-)

Very nice and clean apartment and very quiet location. Small village, but in the immediate vicinity of Wangen an der Aare and not far from the city of Solothurn, which can be easily reached by bike along the Aare.

This is our second time in this apartment for 3 weeks. Love everything about it. Feels like home. Apartment is equipped with everything you need and more. Prime location and the most beautiful view from the outdoor patio. Cantwait to return.

Very beautiful, historical apartment house, 3 storeys, built in 1853. In a quiet, sunny position in the residential district. In the house: central heating system. Parking at the house. Grocery 600 m, supermarket 700 m, restaurant 500 m, bus stop "Alpbach" 250 m, railway station 850 m, indoor swimming pool 800 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 550 m. Nearby attractions: Aareschlucht, Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Meiringen Hasliberg. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Brienzersee. Hiking paths: Rosenlaui. Please note: the owner lives in the same residence. "Wellhorn", 2-room apartment on the top floor. Spacious, partly with sloping ceilings, partly renovated in 2022, very comfortable and cosy furnishings: ceiling height 180 - 200 cm, Low door height 185 cm. Large living/sleeping room with 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Large kitchen-/living room (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (De Longhi E.S.E Pads) extra, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)) with dining table. Bath/shower, sep. WC. Conservatory. Very beautiful view of the mountains and the countryside. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Parking (1 car). Please note: non-smoking house. We felt very comfortable in the FEWO. It was comfortable and had all the essentials. The location at the terminal was also great and the view from the terrace was unique. Small things should be noted. Showering under the pitched roof was quite cramped and

AAziz1403This was one of the best hotel I have stayed in Switzerland. The location was perfect as it was near the airport. The staff was friendly especially Miss Noel who had sped up the check-in process. My room was very spacious which can hold 5 persons. The room was very clean and the amenities was excellent. Overall I loved the hotel very much and would recommend anyone who has big family and want the space for their comfort. The price was reasonable and affordable. Thank you Hotel Allegra Lodge for having us. I am sure that I will come back again to stay at your hotel in the coming future. From a very satisfied customer. Regards!

AAnonymous UserThis is an accommodation that made me cry and laugh during my trip to Switzerland :) First of all, if you look at the facilities, it is clean and nice since it was recently opened. There was an elevator and a kitchen available, but there were almost no dishes or appliances. There was no problem with cooking at all.
The location is a very far walk from Grindelwald Station, or a short bus ride away. 🌟Throw away the idea of walking with your luggage on the first day.🌟 This is a vertical hike that you can never climb without carrying your luggage. Be sure to check the bus schedule before taking the bus (it's convenient to use the SBB app). Your accommodation will give you a Grindelwald guest card, so you can ride the bus for free. (I had a Jungfrau VIP coupon, so I didn’t use it.)
The reasons I cried were:
1) As soon as I arrived, there was no one, so I called and waited for about an hour, but no one answered and didn't come. There were people staying, so I had to wait in the lobby. I had another number on my laptop, so I called, but no one answered.
2) While I was waiting, a man called and asked why I was calling. When I told him I wanted to check in, he said I was fully booked for today, so what did I mean? I told him my reservation number and he said he would understand. Later, he came running in from outside and asked for my passport. Didn't say a single word of apology. (I was very angry here.) Anyway, in conclusion, he said that there was a reservation history on Trip.com but not in his system, so he had me check it and said he would do something about it since there were no rooms available. However, his attitude was not that he was sorry and was trying to do something, but rather that he was annoyed with me.
3) In the end, they gave us our room keys condescendingly, as if they had made it very difficult for us to get a room, and we were very upset that they were sorry for waiting for an hour and that there was no compensation, but we wanted to rest in the room quickly, so we brought the keys up. However, as shown in the picture, they gave me a room without a terrace... Obviously, the room I paid for had a terrace on the reservation screen, and I made the reservation with that in mind, so when I went to argue with them, they said that the room I had reserved was that room.
(I was told that it was given to me because I had created a room, but when I went down and inquired, I found out that the room was originally assigned...)
4) Then, while showing a picture of the reservation screen on 'Booking.com', he enthusiastically emphasizes that the room may or may not have a terrace. The problem is that I paid through 'Trip.com' and the room type I booked on Trip.com is not available. All photos showed a terrace. When I said that, he got very angry and told me to cancel it for free and to leave if I didn't like it.
To be honest, these words sounded very threatening to me, and I was so intimidated by the man's attitude that I was afraid that he might do something to me. I sometimes wonder if they are speaking in such a threatening manner because I am a woman and Asian.
[I notified Booking.com's customer service center of my move, and now the reservation screen for the room I selected also includes a photo of a room without a terrace.]
Anyway, for this reason, I started my trip to Switzerland very angry and depressed. ㅠ ㅠ
This room does not have a terrace and has a tree view, as someone left in a Google review... lol Next time I go again, I think I'll just choose the room one level up because I'm worried about getting this room.
Also, the toilet and bathroom were attached together, so it was shared by 3 rooms. Please note.

다음번에도 스위스에 온다면 무조건 방문 예정
1) 체크인 부터 친절함으로 집에 온 듯한 느낌
2) 차로 이동해야하지만 조용하고 coop과 멀지 않은 동네
3) 베른/취리히/인터라켄/루체른 왠만한 도시 및 관광지가 한시간 권 정도로 주변 경치 보면서 드라이브 하기 좋은 위치
4) 스위스에 왔다면 사람들에 치이는 것 보다는 자연속에 스위스인 들처럼 살아보는 것도 좋다고 생각함.
5) 방이 크고 테라스 및 소파까지 있어 밤에 별보거나 포장해온 식사 흐기도 편함.
이 숙소 덕에 스위스 여행 처음부터 마지막까지 너무 좋은 경험이었고 바닥났던 인류애가 살아나 다음번에도 꼭 오고싶음.
