Nearby, visitors will find places for al fresco meals, with delicious dishes served as you sit on wooden benches with a view of the tower temple, willow trees, bridges, river and pagodas. The town perhaps only truly feels serene in the early mornings and evenings, when crowds are largely absent. Day-trippers will likely miss the best times, when ambling around the ancient town becomes a quieter, contemplative affair. I went to Wuzhen for two days, one night with four people and stayed in the homestay with scenic view for one night, four Xizhamen, boating, morning tea, mostly cost-effective. You need to make an appointment to have breakfast here. The breakfast was well presented. We ate, sat down and stayed for a long time.

The hotel room is clean and spacious. Hotel staff are friendly and provide good service. This is my first time travel to China, and this is the first hotel I had stayed in China. I’m impressed with this experience.

Great location which is very close to Wuzhen village. Lots of Souvenir shop and restaurants nearby the hotel. The rooms and design are very artistic. Though located at the quieter part of Xiza Wuzhen, we like the peacefulness and calm at night. The luggages were transported to the hotel after check-in at the main tourist centre. We explored in the day before picking up the luggages at the lobby at night. The hotel's breakfast was at ZhenShui hotel 100m away. It was a great breakfast with a variety of food. I think it is better to eat there than at the popular ZaoChaKe where you can pay on your own to try the traditional breakfast just for experience. Overall, nice stay, warm hospitality.

The boss is a very honest man and also very helpful. He goes the extra mile to help you with anything that you need. Just inform him what your need or where you would like to go and he will recommend the best method and even help to arrange for transportation, services etc at the best value price. The hotel is located just 300meters walk away from the Wuzhen Xizha Scenic Area ticketing centre. Though it is not located inside the scenic area, it is worth staying here because there are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, massage parlours, and traditional costume and make up shops that you can get better price than within the scenic area. The hotel owner also helped to arrange a rickshaw to bring us tour nanzha(south part of Wuzhen) which depicts more of the lifestyle of the local people with a few nice areas for photography and to buy local produce. Many chinese dramas were also filmed at Nanzha area which the rickshaw rider explained very well but in mandarin chinese. He also helped to take nice photographs for us. The hotel owner also helped to book a car from Wuzhen to Tongli at a reasonable price. If you are travelling from either Hangzhou or Suzhou to this hotel, i would recommend that you give the hotel owner a call and ask him to arrange for a car to get you from those places to Wuzhen especially if you travel in groups of 2-4 persons because the hotel owner is able to get a reasonably priced car. Overall, i would stay in this hotel again if i visit Wuzhen again, because of the owner’s great hospitality and service.

Lovely, spacious room that's great for relaxing in, with a good bathroom too. (I stayed in a double room alone; the bathroom is not set up for privacy, so it's better for couples rather than friends.) Very reasonable price. The only thing to note is that the main door closes around midnight, so it can be tricky to have a late night out.

I stayed in the B&B based on the boss’s online reputation [and it turned out to be right] as long as there is a vacancy, I can exchange for 2 big ones for free. The bed was really nice, and there was free pick-up and drop-off at the door. Although I only stayed for one night, I was filled with gratitude for the boss's human touch. He was very friendly to everyone. I really should give him a certificate. Even though I lived in Dongzha, I felt so good all morning. The scenery is one of the best, and it is really satisfying to be on a chartered boat that only has 2 people on it.

Booked a room for the World Internet Conference. Because the qualification review results were late, I didn't book the hotel designated by the organizing committee, so I chose this hotel myself. Before booking, I didn't know that I could go directly through the scenic area. After getting the certificate at the hotel, I got a pleasant surprise. I can directly enter the scenic area and the venue from the staff passage next to the hotel. It's really convenient! The hotel room is quite satisfactory, and the dry and wet separation is better. I especially want to praise the public area, which is full of design. You can sit on a chair, drink tea and coffee, and sit for a day and a half. The breakfast is simple, but reasonable. If it is not enough, you can add it at any time. The service is very good, and the waiter takes the initiative to carry the box for the customer to the third floor. If I have the opportunity to come to Wuzhen next time, I will stay here again.

If you have booked an evening performance at Wuzhen Grand Theater, it is very convenient to book this hotel!!! The bed is comfortable. The boss upgraded the room, which is very good. There are many food and beverages and convenience stores on the street. It is very cost-effective in the off-season.

This is the most cost-effective homestay I have ever stayed in Hangzhou! The environment is very good, and there is a stream at the door, which is very stylish. The transportation is also convenient, and it is very convenient to the West Lake. The most important thing is that the boss is super honest and super enthusiastic. He upgraded the room, rented an electric car for free, and invited me to taste Northeastern cuisine. He really made me feel at home. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Hangzhou. This was a great stay: the room was warm and comfortable, with complete facilities; the small garden was beautifully designed and well-proportioned, and the mountain view in the distance in the early morning after the rain was even more hazy and dreamy. The homestay is not far from Hupao and Su Causeway, and you can walk slowly to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. I also received a tea gift when I checked out, thank you!

A homestay very close to West Lake, located in Qingzhiwu. Environment: The surrounding environment is elegant and quiet, quiet and comfortable. It was a clean, cost-effective hotel. It was comfortable with hot water, strong wifi, and a new air conditioner. They even replaced the towels. The front desk staff used a translator to help me with transportation routes. The location seems to be different from the map. It's across from the information center, down the street. The address number, No. 36, may help you. I was confused by the close proximity of hotels, so a kind staff member at the information center showed me the way.

The lady boss is very enthusiastic and gave many local recommendations. The room is also very clean and tidy. The location of the homestay is excellent, quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle, at the foot of Baoshi Mountain. If you walk down, you can go to the Dongshanji new-style vegetable market where you can eat and shop. If you walk up, you can climb Baoshi Mountain and overlook the West Lake. You can take a few bus stops to Lingyin, or you can take a few bus stops to the mall to eat and drink. Highly recommended

This hostel is great value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, the air con warmed the room quickly and there was plenty of hot water (although the temperature did fluctuate in the mornings). There are lots of shops and restaurants around, some of which are discounted if you show your room card. If you have WeChat the hostel sends you a message with all the information in it when you check in. This hostel is especially well located if you want to see the botanical attractions of Hangzhou: the Botanical Garden, the Hangzhou Plant Nursery, Guo's Villa (all highly recommended) and the various other small gardens and forested areas on the west side of the lake, which is a 15-minute walk away along roads through the Botanical Garden.

Amazing experience here at this comfy Japanese house set on the foothills of xifeng mountain, only a short bus ride from the scenic LongJing village. The staff are friendly, the place is clean and comfy. You will love the cosy atmosphere, cannot recommend this place any more!

There are lots of restaurants and small markets down around the square and on the nearby streets. Also, easy walking distance to the metro. The room itself is comfortable and it was great to have a clothes washing machine, though with the two levels the ceilings are a bit low, making the space feel a little smaller than I imagined from the pictures.
