Excellent location less than a 10-minute walk from Atocha station. It is an ideal place to spend the night and continue your trip or if you plan to spend the whole day visiting Madrid and are looking for affordable accommodation near Atocha, Cibeles or Retiro Park, etc. Our room was very simple with a sink, shower tray and towels. The bathroom was outside the room and shared with other guests, in our opinion the bathroom was quite clean.

I had stayed at the hotel before and had a good experience. When I checked in on 1 October the gentleman on the reception desk was very helpful and friendly; however, I did not know there was a very loud discoteca RIGHT below my room until i retired for the night. No one at the hotel mentioned it and I had no reason to expect it given my previous stay at the hotel. When I raised my concern to the woman on the reception desk the following morning she initially told me that I should have let them know and the would have asked the long line to get in the discoteca (who were very loud until 6;00 in the morning) to be quieter (I had very little sleep that night). That was not the response I was looking for. There is no way the raucous and signing crowd (mostly waiting in line) would have quieted down. It should be disclosed to the clients just how loud and how bright the lights are in room 102. Aa.fter expressing my concern, she told me that I would receive a discount for the night, and the manager would reach out to me via email to discuss my comcerns and how to improve for the next visit. it has now been a week and I have not received any credit to my account, and no ome has reached out to me as promised. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who may visit Madrid. If the reviews of hotel clients are truly important as the hotel states in their request for a review, they would follow up as promised.

My flight arrived late at night so I had to look for a place that will allow late check in. I saw that Hostal Maria Luisa allow late check in (anytime after 13:00) so that's why I booked it. I paid partly using the hard earned reward points I earned from my previous bookings over a long time and paid the rest using my credit card. When I got there, the owner (I assume), didn't speak English, but was able to say that the place was full and turned me away and I left. So I didn’t get to stay or sleep at the property and they still took my money from the booking. Once I got home, bummed out, I contact ********** to ask for a full refund. ********** contact them and told me that they refused to give me a refund. I had to contact ********** several more times and chat with numerous different agents, and every time the property refused to issue a refund for me. They even deceived (in my opinion) ********** and told them I didn't show up. Since I was using Google Maps that night and my location tracking was on, I even had to provide ********** a screenshot of my location at the time to prove that I was at the property that night. Even with that evidence, ********** couldn't get this property to refund me. The agent from ********** told me that they need approval from the property to give me a refund and there was nothing that they can do since ********** no longer have my money because it has already been transferred to the property. I eventually had to contact my credit card company to refund part of my booking money I paid using my credit card, but I never got the rest of the money back from the property to this day.

The location of the hotel is very central and well located, good cleanliness and good price quality. Before entering the hotel, Marisa, from the hotel staff, assisted us by phone wonderfully and explained to us how to check in online, since in this hotel it is done that way (something that Trip.com should explain and is not indicated) .

This casual hotel is located near Atocha Station, which is connected to the high-speed train, the train to Madrid Airport, and the subway, making it convenient for before and after traveling to various places, and for sightseeing. Since I was traveling alone, I booked a junior single room, and although it was compact, it was still new, clean, and had everything I needed. On the other hand, there are some negative points such as there is no refrigerator or kettle in the room, there is an elevator but it is slow, and you have to store your luggage in a paid locker after checking out. The space on the top floor can be used freely except during breakfast hours, and has a great view and free coffee and tea.

If you want to reach nearby attractions more conveniently, the location is the only advantage of this hotel. The hotel is very close to the Royal Palace of Madrid and its own subway. The facilities are the same as in the promotional pictures. However, the room has a peculiar smell that is hard to get used to. There is no hairdryer. The shower room is small and not waterproof, and water easily overflows when taking a shower. The hotel implements online check-in, and you need to check in online in time to receive the room unlocking code. Also the receptionist was nice. Overall this hotel just one star level.

I and a friend of mine have been in Madrid for 4 days and decided to stay in this amazing hostel: it has all the comforts near and is 3 minutes from the Gran Via. Excellent location, front of the police command and on the street leading to the hostel there is the Carrefour open 24 hours of 24 hours. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and very beautiful: they change their handbags every day and re-room despite being a hostel. Super recommended

For the price paid it's just fine. Hostel located in the center of Madrid, excellent location. Small room and ensuite bathroom. Almost no cleanliness and a hole in the wall that let the cold in from outside. Fortunately, the climate was mild otherwise it was freezing considering that the radiators were not working. Hosts speak only Spanish but helpful.

I took my son to Madrid for his 21st birthday and booked a twin room. CONS - 1. At first I thought they’d put us in a double room as it looked like a double bed but it was actually 2 single beds pushed together. I was expecting the beds to be at least a few inches apart. This room was definitely not on the Loveholidays or Booking.com websites along with the other rooms advertised. 2. The room was very small and stuffy and had a musty smell to it. There was a little window that opened onto a messy rooftop and other adjoining walls of the hostel (pictures provided). Because of this there wasn’t any natural light coming into the room so it felt like it was night time the whole time we were there. I feel that we were given the worst room they had. 3. The mattresses were bigger than the actual bed bases and would tip over if you sat too close to the edge. 4. There was only 1 very thin pillow on each bed. 5. The toilet didn’t flush properly. 6. It was quite hot and musty in there. 7. No rubbish bin in the bedroom. 8. Shower either scalding hot or freezing cold. 9. Bathroom door was glass and no lock on it PROS 1. There was a built in safe inside the wardrobe. I wasn’t offered a key for this safe. I had to ask for it. 2. Right in the centre of Madrid. 3. Good WiFi connection. 4. Air conditioning
