The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance to many of Madrid’s most famous attractions. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, which is super convenient. The service is good, and the staff are friendly and professional. The area outside the hotel is lively, but the windows in the room are very well soundproofed, so it’s quiet and comfortable for sleeping. However, there are some areas for improvement. The room doesn’t provide slippers, which is a bit inconvenient. The room itself is a bit small, and the glass door of the bathroom offers little soundproofing, making using the bathroom slightly awkward. Additionally, both the bathroom and the shower room have motion-sensor lights, which can be inconvenient to use. Neither can be locked, and the shower room door doesn’t fully close, which might be an issue for some guests.

Common area is big n cozy, morning provide drinks and water for all day long. Dom with well design everything is so perfect just that they dont hv hair dryer in room u hv to go reception borrow once use return bk bcos no enof for otr ppl use. Other than that, is perfect.

This hostel is very nice and I highly recommend it, I was there 3 days, it is close to the Principe Pío station and close to every part of the center without the noise of the center, so the environment is very calm, nearby there is a carrefour and Día where buy cheap food. The only aspect I didn’t like it is that they DIDN’T GIVE a TOWEL or didn’t offer me one, other aspects is good.

I didn’t expect that my first experience staying in a youth hostel would be so good!  I originally booked a mixed room for 12 people, but I was assigned an 8-person female room. I was very grateful and immediately felt relieved.  The hygiene is very good, there is a hairdryer in the toilet and lye in the bathroom. Used their towels for a few days and it was totally fine. There is hot water for bathing! ! ! ! The mattress is super thick, wide and very comfortable to sleep on. Enough personal space. The only thing is that the sensor light is a bit inconvenient and is often turned off. Also, walking around when sleeping on the upper bed can easily affect the person on the lower bed. Overall, it is cheap and good quality, and I can repurchase it.

Generator Madrid was an amazing location! Located in the heart of Madrid and was super convenient. Everything was walkable distance. Place was also clean and very smartly designed. Service staffs were also really nice and helpful. Just a pity that toilet amenities were not provided (no soap/shampoo/towels, all had to be paid for). Hairdryer was available but needed a 20 euros cash deposit (returned upon return of hairdryer).

The kitchen is not open to passengers and food cannot be brought into the room. I wanted to put the milk in the refrigerator on the first night, but the male waiter pushed it out of the kitchen and slammed the door. The service was terrible. I saw me take it at the front desk on the third night. A box of instant noodles was not allowed to be brought into the room and could only be left at the front desk. I said that I will not let you eat in the restaurant later, and I feel very disrespectful.

The hotel is very clean, I liked everything, the staff is polite, convenient location and free luggage storage, there is a separate kitchen, you can cook yourself and drink tea) I liked the cleanliness of the room most of all

The location is perfect. Service is great. Breakfast is not worth it. It is barely a buffet. Wifi is functional. But I don't understand why only women's bathrooms have hair dryer The layout of the shared bathroom in the corridor is a bit cramped but there are not too many people using it at the same time.

The location is very good, just a 10-minute walk from Atocha train station. The Wi-Fi signal in the public area is good. There is drinking water and sparkling water for self-service. The service is also good. My train ticket, air ticket, and check-in voucher were all printed for me. 👍

The paper towel dispenser didn't work, the air conditioning didn't work, and it was hot. We had to sleep with the window open, and the hotel faces a plaza where people are always shouting until late at night. The elevator didn't work. Breakfast left a lot to be desired; the trays are washed and stored wet, so they get a very bad smell. I wouldn't recommend it, but the location is EXCELLENT, very close to Gran Via and the Chueca and Gran Via stations.
