Hostels in Uttar Pradesh, India

A great location, just a few minutes' walk from the Taj Mahal. You can see the Taj Mahal directly from the rooftop. The rooms, toilets, and showers were all clean. With friendly staff and unlimited chai, this hostel is perfect!

First of all, the host was very kind and the guesthouse was on the Ghat side, so when you first enter, you have to go through a lot of alleys, but they provide a free pick-up service, so you can meet the staff on the main road and arrive safely. The guesthouse is clean and the facilities are a little old, but it's cozy. The cost-effectiveness is really good. When you leave, they help you carry your luggage, so you can move to your next destination comfortably. Overall, it's a comfortable stay because of the friendly service. I'll stay here again next time I come to Varanasi.

Останавливался здесь на одну ночь. В целом всё хорошо. Сначала немного не нашёл поворот, но местные быстро помогли сориентироваться. Хозяева очень добрые и отзывчивые, создают приятное впечатление. У них же можно заказать завтрак, ужин или купить воду — цены такие же, как и везде. Комната небольшая, с вентилятором, есть собственный туалет и душ. В целом нормальный вариант за свои деньги.

I had avery nice stay at Local Lok! The hostel is very clean and the service is good. My only complaint is that it is far from the Ganges River, whrte all of the tourist stuff is. It takes about 30 minutes by Rickshaw to get to the Ganges from Local Lok. But other than that it is a very nice place to stay

I was able to spend it without any problems. It was very good that there was a Starbucks nearby and the Taj Mahal was nearby. I was comfortable and slept very well.

I’m a solo traveler who has been to many different places in India, and I can highly recommend this hostel for your next stay. The staff here is very helpful with everything you need. The rooms are very nice, and the air conditioning works properly. The bathroom in our room was cleaned by the staff every day. I enjoyed the food here so much that I ate here every day. The hostel also has an app through which you can order food and beverages and open the door to your room. I liked it so much that I’ve also booked stays in Rishikesh and Jaipur with the same brand, as I hope they are just as good as this one in Varanasi.
