The bed was very spacious, and the high ceilings meant it didn't feel stuffy at all. The air conditioning was excellent. The shared bathrooms were clean, which was a plus. In the common area, they offered bread and coffee; for the past two days, I've had peanut butter bread with coffee before heading out. The location is fantastic, right by the river. The cafe downstairs is a great spot to relax with a coffee. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

The hotel is conveniently located and offers good value for the price. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. Room cleanliness was better than average, and the mattress was comfortable with a clean bed. The lobby was clean, welcoming, and offered complimentary hot water and snacks, which was a nice touch.

Stayed at Vintage Inn @ Melaka as a budget-friendly option during my trip to Melaka. The location is quite convenient(near Melaka Riverside & walkable to Jonker Street, Dutch Square) and the price is affordable, which makes it appealing for short stays or backpackers.
However, cleanliness left something to be desired, especially in the shared bathrooms, which could use more frequent cleaning and maintenance. The overall atmosphere of the inn is okay, but a little more attention to hygiene would really improve the experience.

Best location possible just nearby the main attractions, but very thin walls so you can hear everything and anything, and only a fan (there is AC but you have no remote control which I believe you need to pay to get).
I wanted to work in the common area but their common area WiFi wasn't working any of the days I was there so I had to go to a coffee shop instead as inside the room there isn't a table where I could sit and work.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning kept me cool and I was able to sleep soundly at night. The shower temperature was just right, and the water pressure was stable and easy to use. The staff were friendly and always smiling, which made me feel at ease. I appreciated the free towels they provided. The hotel is right next to the river, so there was a table where I could rest while looking out at the river. The location is convenient, but the nearby restaurants are open until late at night, so the noise outside can be a bit distracting. Also, the lack of a washing machine may be inconvenient for those staying long-term. Overall, it's good value for money, and I highly recommend this hotel for short stays.

AAnonymous UserHotel room super clean, the owner really mantained it well. Hotel was newly renovated on march 2025. Aircon,tv,fan all are very new. Does not provide water bottle but has water purifier outside the room.
Down side: at night owner not there, need to whatsapp owner for checkin, at night water pressure is quite low, and wifi very unstable at night. Day time everything is good. Hope owner can take note on that. Overall everything is good for this price as a budget hotel.

No elevator and you have to go up a flight of stairs.
