Welcome to The Coach House! A charming detached cottage in the heart of Whalley Range. A stone’s throw from Alexandra Park and very close to public transport providing easy access to the city centre in under 15 minutes. We have recently renovated the house so there are 2 brand new bathrooms and a new washer dryer and dishwasher installed. There are 2 parking spaces attached the property for guests to use secured in our gated car park. You will not find another house like this one.The spaceGround floor:A large kitchen/diner which is great social space with plenty of room to cook. The kitchen has all the usual appliances including a dishwasher. The dining table seats 6 and an additional 4 at the breakfast bar.The living room has two couches which are easily converted into beds if needed. There is also a large 58” flatscreen smart TV with freeview, iplayer, etc.The house has high speed wifi throughout.There is a downstairs shower room with a toilet and washer-dryer.Upstairs:Bedroom 1 has an King-size double bed and a single bed.Bedroom 2 has a King-size double bed.Bedroom 3 has a single bed.All the beds are super comfy!Outside:To the rear of the house there is a secluded garden (south facing).Please note, this is not a party house. It is imperative you respect our neighbours, which means no additional guests and no noise after 10pm.Guest accessThe whole house and 2 x parking spaces outside the house in a gated car park. There is plenty of roadside parking just around the corner too.Other things to noteWe are a pet friendly accommodation, the only thing we ask is that you clean your pets paws if they are dirty after a walk upon entering the house, and if you would like them to snuggle up with you on the sofa, please ensure that they are dry and use one of the blankets provided to protect the sofas.This is strictly not a party house, if you bring additional guests you will be asked to leave.

The noise was unbearable. There's a bar directly across the street that was still blasting DJ music past 11 PM. I went to the front desk to request a room change. The staff insisted on coming to the room to verify the noise. After they heard it, they acknowledged it was the bar across the street and assured me it would quiet down in another 10-20 minutes. However, they didn't move us to a different room. I tried to get to sleep around 10 PM but couldn't fall asleep until well after midnight, which completely ruined my sleep and mood.

The person didn't have good customer service skills, and it felt like we were being treated badly, which was upsetting. We had a pleasant stay at this new and clean hotel. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of complimentary snacks and drinks provided at check-in. The breakfast spread was excellent and delicious. The location is very convenient for Terminal 2. However, there aren’t any nearby restaurants, and since we were using Terminal 1, it took about 15 minutes to walk there. Overall, it’s a great choice, highly recommended.

Loved my stay at this Hotel. It was my third time staying at this hotel. The aesthetics of the Hotel are really nice. The spaces in the hotel are modern with a touch of luxury. The front desk ladies that I met during my stay were welcoming, friendly and had good vibes.Nothing beats a warm welcome. Check in was quick and easy and very professional. I forgot the name of the lady that checked us in but she was fabulous. We checked in on September 4th 2024 between 12:20-12:50 so the lady that was sat on the right side of the main desk at that time did really well n checking us in. The breakfast was okay , but it kinda left me wanting more in terms of selection. Maybe beef sausages or even chicken sausages could be added??? But it was still good nevertheless. The location of the hotel is also pretty good as you are able to go to access many restaurants… and shopping points. Distance from the Machester Piccadilly Train station from this hotel is super convenient as well. Would totally recommend this hotel😊😊😊

This is just a minor observation as there was everything else you needed in the room. The buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I booked this hotel as it had a bath. The plug didn’t fit the whole so I couldn’t relax and have a bath. It was on a main road where a new tram stop is under construction. Post midnight there was workmen continuous drilling. I found chewing gum under the bedside shelf. There was single glazing, the fitted moving window to block our noise was broken and wouldn’t close as my photo shows.

The only issue we found was that we were given the accessible room and when taking a shower, the floor wasn't the correct gradient / level to let the water drain so it was literally flooded in the bathroom until I swept it up with a towel, really deep water, and it smelled damp. Breakfast was an extra 15 pounds but very good. In all, a fine stay for a quick layover.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the service is impeccable. The deposit was refunded very quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. I drank two bottles of water, but there was no deduction from the deposit—an unexpected bonus. However, there are a few areas for improvement in the hotel facilities. The blue bed runner is of poor quality; it sheds lint that ends up on the sheets. More attention should be given to the details of room amenities such as bedding and towels. Additionally, some beverages in the fridge require a bottle opener, but I couldn’t find one among the room tools. Wishing the hotel continued success in its operations.

This is a grand and historic hotel, and I had a very comfortable stay. Its location is fantastic, right in the city center and just a short walk from Manchester's Chinatown. My only complaints are the unclear smoking signs near the entrance and the tiny ashtrays provided. There was also no doorman to offer assistance or reminders. This could easily lead to fines (as enforcement seemed rather discreet), which unfortunately cast a shadow of frustration and disappointment over my trip.

Took my mum for a treat and for her to reminisce. wow!! We were not disappointed, it was a fantastic stay. The Building and architecture is stunning, huge tall ceilings and windows. Beautiful tiles everywhere, elegant dining and meeting rooms. Our room was fab, two double beds, lovely free snack box, posh teas and coffees. We loved the 5pm social hour, a chance to mingle with the other guests and an hour of free drinks and snacks. Breakfast was also great, it was extremely busy as the hotel was fully booked the night before so I did feel the staff were overstretched and there was a wait for fresh eggs and tea / coffee… but hey we were in no rush. Just beautiful… can’t wait to go again.
