Great hotel! highly recommended! Excellent location, go straight to the British Museum, walk for three minutes, walk 6 minutes from Holborn subway station. The hotel service is particularly good. From the door, there is a service staff who takes the initiative to open the door and take the baggage. It is already in the room when you check in. When you leave, someone will help with the baggage, and you don't even need to bring it out. This is for traveling alone. It’s really great! At 11 o'clock, I have not yet arrived at the check-in time. The front desk will arrange a free lobby for a tea break. No matter where I see the service staff, I will always say hello and friendly greetings, full of service awareness. Breakfast is traditional English and is as varied as it was when you were studying at Oxford. The hotel decoration also has a strong traditional British flavor, the room is very clean, the hot water is very good, I have a service staff to send a small biscuit to welcome after the check-in, go out at night and find someone cleaned the room. Because the hotel is in the heart of London, the room size is not that big. If you want to experience the traditional British style and exquisite service, this is definitely a good choice! Although it is a bit more expensive, I personally feel that it is very worthwhile to experience travel to London!

Stayed in the family room with 2 teenagers which we didnt realise was actually more of an apartment with a lounge and kitchenette. Our room was on the very top floor so the stairs wasn't the best, it's outdated but as a place to put your head that was within walking distance to several great locations it was good for us. Would stay again.

First of all, the location is good. It's right next to the British Museum, so you can get there without getting lost. It's easy to get to anywhere, so it's very convenient. If you need anything, the owner or guest services will respond immediately. The room was cleaned properly, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need. There were new sponges for washing dishes. Of course, there was detergent too. I didn't know how to use the washing machine, but I managed to find it by looking at the washing machine's website. It said that there was detergent, but I didn't know where it was, so I brought my own. The shower was also clean. There were basic amenities. I liked that there were enough towels for the number of people and the number of days we were staying. My family who went with me liked the heated floor in the bathroom. I'd like to use it again if I visit London again.

Facilities: It looks like a typical old hotel in Europe, and the decoration style is very old-fashioned. The room is quite large, but the corridor is very cramped. Hygiene: Clean and neat, cleaned every day Environment: The surrounding environment is good, the location is a plus, and it takes 5 minutes to walk to the British Museum Service: Overall in place. In general, it feels worthwhile to live in such a large room in the core area of London for less than two thousand. After all, you can basically reach many core attractions in half an hour's walk

We were originally booked into the Beauchamp but a few days prior were moved to their sister hotel next door called the Portland. We were very disappointed to see the difference in accommodation compared to the photos of the Beauchamp we had booked - the Portland is extremely dated and not modern looking like the other. After a long day in London and late evening being spent at BST Hyde Park, this was disappointing to arrive to. Not only this - the hotel corridors are so narrow it is like a marble run trying to navigate your way round, When we arrived to our room, it was extremely hot to the point of sweating - we had to instantly open all windows and luckily found two big fans in the cupboard which we had to leave on all night. Also, although a quad was booked and in the photos this shows two double beds - we arrived to one double bed and a pull out sofa bed with a paper thin mattress - my poor daughter barely slept do to being uncomfortable and it feeling like she was being poked in the back. This being said - the reception staff were always lovely, polite and very attentive. We were offered free breakfast which we went to the Beauchamp to have and on walking in we could definitely see it was more modern - and the cooked breakfast was actually lovely, staff were very nice and service was quick. One request would be to have the offer of a latte/cappuccino etc. rather than just your standard tea and filter coffee. So to sum it up - don't book the Portland over the two :)

Great experience staying at this place, easy, smooth and fuss free. The location was excellent, 5 min walk from the train and DLR stations and a short stroll to the vibrant Greenwich with all its attractions. We particularly appreciated the little kitchenette as we cook all our own meals. The bathroom was nice, spacious and warm. We had all we needed for a comfortable stay and would stay here again. Great value compared to what's available in London.

My recent stay at the Bexleyheath Marriott was a delightful experience. The hotel's convenient location, coupled with its modern and comfortable amenities, made it the perfect choice for my trip. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredibly comfortable queen-size bed. After a long day of exploring London, I found myself sinking into the soft, plush mattress and enjoying a restful night's sleep. The bedding was luxurious, and the room was quiet, providing the ideal environment for relaxation. Beyond the comfortable bed, the Marriott exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. The hotel's facilities were well-maintained, and the dining options were excellent. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a more formal dining experience, the Marriott has something to offer. Overall, I highly recommend the Bexleyheath Marriott for anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in London. The queen-size bed alone is worth the visit!

Lovely and modern inside main reception/restaurant area, but a few teething issues which will hopefully get sorted now up and running again. I was given the key to someone elses room, so walked into a room full of belongings and then the next day my key lost it's programming, so had to go back to reception yet again. Rooms aren't very sound proofed, so there was a few nights where I had people non stop walking through the corridors at gone midnight shouting and singing where likely drunk from the bar. Overall okay stay for the money though, bottles of water and a few biscuits were provided too which was a lovely touch. Bar prices very reasonable too

Terrible hotel. Checked in, got to room only to find someone else in bed. Was told by receptionist that ‘there couldn’t be’!! Stayed two nights. On both nights first two items on menu choice were unavailable. On second night third choice was Nachos. Delivered to table without chilies, sour cream or cheese. So just the tomato sauce then. Apparently the chef couldn’t find the ingredients 🤦. Upon check out charged twice on card. Asked how stay was and told. Ignored. Never stay there again.

Booked this hotel for parents who were visiting London. The hotel room on floor 4 was of a high standard with a view over the Thames. The gym was good and the outside seating of the restaurant enjoyable in the sunny weather. Unfortunately the ferry connecting Canary Wharf to the hotel was not in use but the hotel provided complementary shuttle taxis to the Uber boat pier and free travel on the Uber boat with the Hotel key card.

The TV wouldn’t work in our room and while the check in staff were very very helpful the maintenance team didn’t show up to sort it. The following day we asked to have a room change which was no problem but we were put directly over the train station. They do supply ear plugs but boy is it noisy! Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Stayed for 3 nights with my mum in 2 rooms, I requested side by side or same floor rooms when I made the booking 3 months ago, however they put mum on ground floor and me in the basement. My mum’s room was terrible, smelt like damp wet carpet, it was tiny, dark and had no airflow. The bathroom was oddly located outside of the room through another door. My room was opposite a large storage space and next to the breakfast room. The noise from guests in neighbouring rooms, breakfast room in the morning, staff going in and out of store room and the constant sound from underground train every few minutes was quite unbearable. Even though I booked the same room type my room was much larger and better configured than the one my mum got. The place was a maze, the room numbering made no sense and we were forever getting lost. Staff were polite but definitely not service professionals and it was obvious that none of them wanted to be there. The only plus was location location location!!

My wife and I had a stay at Mimis recently, and overall, we enjoyed it and would stay there again. However, I suggest doing some research beforehand, as the rooms are quite tiny. Even though we were aware of this before arriving, we were still a bit surprised by just how small they were. Despite this, it didn't negatively impact our experience or spoil our stay. The room and bathroom was nicely decorated. I only have a few minor observations rather than complaints. Upon check-in, we requested a late check-out, but the person at the reception seemed a bit abrupt, as he did with an older couple in front of us who had questions about their room location in the annex and that they hoped to stay in the main building. The pillows provided were not very supportive, as they deflated to almost nothing. If we had stayed for more than one night and asked for extra pillows, they would have been accommodating. Regarding breakfast, we inquired about the options available and were informed that they offered coffee and pastries. Unfortunately, they couldn't provide hot food, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have the choice of continental-style breakfast with cold meats and other items; we would have been willing to pay for it as we only wanted somthing light. Despite these very small things, they did not affect our overall enjoyment of the stay. We still had a pleasant time, and we are looking forward to returning to Mimis in the future. Location is great!

Staff at The Waldorf are incredibly attentive to any / all needs. I asked for a later checkout and plates for food early in the morning after a night out and they accommodated that for us. The hotel is placed in a prime location, just a stones throw from Covent Garden and about 28-30 minutes walk from Regent Street. The hotel is only accessible by key card after hours; to ensure guest safety. Amenities in the room included an iron and board, kettle, drinking glasses and coffee / tea cups. The shower had fixed shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers. The mini bar was fairly priced for central London, but hadn't been cleaned (hence the slightly lower score on cleanliness). The air conditioning dried my throat out throughout the night, but turns off automatically if the window is open, so had to deal with that / just had water next to the bed throughout the night. The downstairs bar had a great atmosphere and boasts a large menu. Great for a late nightcap. Overall the experience was great. Our Queen room cost £179.00 for the night (excluding breakfast). I was offered two forms of upgrades. A larger Queen Room with breakfast included was only an extra £40.00, and a Kings Suite with access to the executive lounge and breakfast was £80.00 extra.
