I booked two deluxe rooms, but the front desk manager said that extra beds were not allowed and insisted that I pay 200 pounds a night to upgrade. Very dissatisfied! I can book a room at a higher level directly online, and I don’t need this price! And the room was obviously big enough, but she insisted that she couldn't add an extra bed. Ctrip's website says extra beds are available. In the end, it was handled through Ctrip, but the hotel manager was still disgusting and demanded a high price! I will not come to this hotel again! The hotel is right next to the roadside and there is no parking space at the door. If it weren't for the fact that it was very close to the British Museum, I wouldn't have booked this place. The waiters in the restaurant are very nice. The breakfast is a set menu, British style, delicious and generous. It seems that many local business people come to dine and negotiate.

I truly appreciate that your hotel provides rooms thoughtfully designed for guests with disabilities. However, I would kindly suggest being mindful when assigning these rooms to guests who may not require such specific accommodations unless specifically requested. I was assigned Room 131, which was a room with facilities for disable person, which was clean and well-kept, but I found the bathroom facilities disappointing. The shower had a curtain instead of the screen shown in the booking photos, the sink was set too low, and the toilet didn’t have a lid. This was inconvenient for me, as I prefer to close the lid after use—a habit I’ve developed since Covid. When I shared my concerns with the reception, they informed me that they couldn’t help directly and advised me to email their office. Although I did so, their response offered a room change but only if I could return to the hotel within a very short timeframe. Since I couldn’t manage that, I ended up staying in the same room with no further assistance. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and I expected better service from this hotel.

This is a hotel that has always been on our list of must-stay hotels in life. After staying there for one night, I feel that its advantages and disadvantages are very clear. The hardware is absolutely top-notch, and the location is first-class. You can walk to the British Museum and Chinatown. The old building is superimposed with magnificent soft furnishings, and the sense of design, history and story are all full. The most trustworthy thing about the magnificent hotels in various regions is the comfort of the room. Although I stayed in an ordinary business room with simple decoration this time, it was really comfortable to sleep in. The support of the mattress is in place, the wool curtains are thick and light-blocking, the temperature control is very accurate, and the humidity is just right. Let's talk about the service. The service staff at the front desk and the breakfast room are very professional and enthusiastic. Although there is an additional service charge for breakfast, it is worth it. There is also a choice of Chinese dim sum taro cake wonton noodles for breakfast. The only thing that made us not feel enthusiastic was the doorman and luggage service. I don’t know if it was because of insufficient manpower or unreasonable workload distribution. Anyway, it was generally cold and perfunctory, which reduced the points a bit.

The location is very good, two minutes' walk from the subway station, one minute's walk to LSE, and very close to King's College London, University College London, and the British Museum. Lincoln Park across from the hotel is also very nice. Free coffee and hot chocolate milk are provided on the first floor of the hotel, and breakfast is okay. Booked a triple room and it was crowded.

The first hotel in London, very cost-effective. Facilities: hair dryer, air conditioning, toiletries are available, toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers need to be prepared by yourself Hygiene: the room is cleaned every 2 days, and you can tell the front desk if the towels need to be changed every day Environment: 2 minutes from the subway station, very convenient, there are many places to eat around, there are supermarkets, and there are coffee shops on the corners. It's a great place to buy something and have breakfast! Service: Luggage storage cannot be overnight, a bit regrettable

Location is great and the nearest tube is Holborn station which is just 10 min walk. There's a well equipped gym with a heated pool and sauna. Room comes with good teabags and Nespresso. Bathroom is very small and hardly any space to open the door. From the pic, I have to stand outside the bathroom in order to take a pic. Bathroom width is only about the width of the toilet bowl.

This central London apartment in is situated in TheatreLand, Covent Garden providing easy access to all that London’s fabulous West End has to offer. The building is Victorian and the apartment itself has only just been redecorated leaving it clean fresh and modern throughout. It is the perfect base to go exploring the West End from by foot, or for trips further afield there is a wide range of transport links on your doorstep. PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately due to the age of the building there is NO elevator/ lift. Access to the apartment is only possible via stairs (around 60 steps). The apartment is tastefully decorated in neutral tones with a couple of 'featured' walls (one featuring a floor to ceiling vintage map of central London). From entering by the private front door the small hall leads in to the lounge with a comfortable sofa, TV and a small dining table and chairs.Across from the lounge is the well equipped kitchen with all mod cons such as coffee machine, dishwasher and microwave oven to name but a few.The bedroom provides a double bed with a comfortable mattress (renewed every year) and spread in quality white Egyptian cotton linen. A small dressing table provides a hairdryer and illuminated make up mirror. The wardrobe can store luggage and is equipped with plenty of hangers. An iron and board is also provided. The compact bathroom is kitted out with wc, basin and mains pressure shower. A heated towel rail for warmth and towel drying and surfaces to accommodate your toiletries.PLEASE NOTE: The sofa is NOT a sofa bed nor is it suitable to sleep on.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Adults only.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 21.About events:No events allowed.

Amazing front desk and housekeeping team! There’s a lady from Bangladesh who has big smiles and very helpful when we have late lunch at the lobby restaurant. One thing that I don’t really like is that there’s a scaffolding wrapping around the entire hotel and they started the drilling and pounding work at 9 am sharp.

My recent stay at the Bexleyheath Marriott was a delightful experience. The hotel's convenient location, coupled with its modern and comfortable amenities, made it the perfect choice for my trip. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredibly comfortable queen-size bed. After a long day of exploring London, I found myself sinking into the soft, plush mattress and enjoying a restful night's sleep. The bedding was luxurious, and the room was quiet, providing the ideal environment for relaxation. Beyond the comfortable bed, the Marriott exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. The hotel's facilities were well-maintained, and the dining options were excellent. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a more formal dining experience, the Marriott has something to offer. Overall, I highly recommend the Bexleyheath Marriott for anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in London. The queen-size bed alone is worth the visit!

Lovely and modern inside main reception/restaurant area, but a few teething issues which will hopefully get sorted now up and running again. I was given the key to someone elses room, so walked into a room full of belongings and then the next day my key lost it's programming, so had to go back to reception yet again. Rooms aren't very sound proofed, so there was a few nights where I had people non stop walking through the corridors at gone midnight shouting and singing where likely drunk from the bar. Overall okay stay for the money though, bottles of water and a few biscuits were provided too which was a lovely touch. Bar prices very reasonable too

Terrible hotel. Checked in, got to room only to find someone else in bed. Was told by receptionist that ‘there couldn’t be’!! Stayed two nights. On both nights first two items on menu choice were unavailable. On second night third choice was Nachos. Delivered to table without chilies, sour cream or cheese. So just the tomato sauce then. Apparently the chef couldn’t find the ingredients 🤦. Upon check out charged twice on card. Asked how stay was and told. Ignored. Never stay there again.

We recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dockside and had a generally pleasant experience with a few areas for improvement. Location: The hotel is a bit removed from the city centre, which means you'll need to plan your travel carefully. We found ourselves relying mostly on the boat to Canary Wharf, which, while scenic, adds some time and coordination to each outing. Check-in Experience: The check-in process was a highlight. We were greeted warmly with the signature DoubleTree cookies – a small but lovely surprise. Even more thoughtful, the staff noted that we were celebrating a birthday and offered us two complimentary drinks at the bar. That personal touch really made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Room Comfort: The room was comfortable enough, but there were a couple of issues worth noting. The soundproofing wasn’t great – we could clearly hear the sea waves throughout the night, which might be relaxing for some, but was a bit disruptive for us. Additionally, the bathroom could have been cleaner. We found garbage left in the bin, which detracted from the overall sense of hygiene and attention to detail. Overall: This hotel has some lovely, thoughtful staff and a few standout gestures that enhanced our stay. However, its distance from central London and a few cleanliness and soundproofing issues might not make it ideal for every traveller. With a bit more attention to room maintenance, it could be a much stronger option.

The TV wouldn’t work in our room and while the check in staff were very very helpful the maintenance team didn’t show up to sort it. The following day we asked to have a room change which was no problem but we were put directly over the train station. They do supply ear plugs but boy is it noisy! Rooms are clean, facilities are good, staff friendly just make sure you ask for a room the opposite side of the hotel to the train station, unless you are a train spotter!

The hotel is in a good location, the surrounding area is relatively quiet, and the combination of movement and stillness is very good! The big bed plus a sofa bed, the sofa bed is generally comfortable, but the sofa bed is very wide, and it can be opened as a double bed. The front desk service is very good, and they will greet you when you enter and leave. The restaurant service is also very good. The freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast is good, and it costs 4 pounds per cup in the Oxford restaurant. The room is cleaned every day, and supplies for multiple people are provided. It is highly recommended. It takes 15 minutes to walk back to the hotel from the London Eye, passing by the British characteristics on the street.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Stayed for 3 nights with my mum in 2 rooms, I requested side by side or same floor rooms when I made the booking 3 months ago, however they put mum on ground floor and me in the basement. My mum’s room was terrible, smelt like damp wet carpet, it was tiny, dark and had no airflow. The bathroom was oddly located outside of the room through another door. My room was opposite a large storage space and next to the breakfast room. The noise from guests in neighbouring rooms, breakfast room in the morning, staff going in and out of store room and the constant sound from underground train every few minutes was quite unbearable. Even though I booked the same room type my room was much larger and better configured than the one my mum got. The place was a maze, the room numbering made no sense and we were forever getting lost. Staff were polite but definitely not service professionals and it was obvious that none of them wanted to be there. The only plus was location location location!!

We stayed for a concert at Wembley. On check in the reception staff gave is lots of helpful information - the 92 bus goes directly to Wembley stadium, and that it would be a slightly different pick up point. We actually decided to walk back rather than join the crowded public transport, but it was quite a long walk, I’d recommend walking a short way out of the crowds then back on the 92. The room was nice & bed very comfortable. We slept well. Breakfast was nice with a mix of continental & English breakfast items. I’d definitely stay again.

Plenty of cafes and eateries nearby. The place was clean and the bed was comfy. It was just fine, nothing more than that.
