Great service and friendly staff were always available. Breakfast was great for what you paid, and it was all you can eat. Toast, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, not a full English breakfast but very affordable. Things like amenities such as washing and towels were available, but had to pay a small price extra for. The facilities were good and there was a bar/hang out area which was open each night and made it very easy to.mingle with fellow travellers. Very central to the city and most landmarks were walking distance about an hour or so which is good when visiting a new city. Of course the London tube is available. Would highly recommend anyone travelling to London solo for a nice experience to meet fellow travellers without breaking the bank.

Check in was super smooth and very friendly. The room itself was small, but big enough our needs for the week. The staff were nice, but not very aware of surrounding issues. My son got locked in the downstairs toilets and was screaming and screaming and not one member of staff moved an inch until my wife went looking for him, only then did the staff on reception move to see what was wrong, unfortunately that left a nasty taste in my mouth as it showed me a clear lack of care towards not only customers but to children. The rooms were clean and tidy, it did take 5 nights for the bedsheets / duvet covers to be changed, they were made daily but not swapped for fresh ones. Towels were plentiful and swapped daily tough. The daily breakfast was nice with a selection of fresh fruits, cereals and croissants, They also had a selection of hot food such as sausage, bacon, mushrooms, scrambled egg and even vegan sausages if you like them. My only complaint was the scrambled egg were not seasoned at all and required quite a lot of extra seasoning. You could also make fresh toast with a selection of different jams and Nutella. And also get fresh coffee, tea or hot chocolate, although each day one of the 2 machines were broken, it seemed to change each day. They also had fresh orange and apple juice, But the machine seemed to be broken quite alot of the time and they provided it in small dispensers, unfortunately these tasted watered down. Overall the room is nice, decent breakfast, pretty good location and the price not that bad but I expected a bit better.

Not very pleasant stay experience. Because there is no customer service at the front desk, you have to check in yourself, and you can only give the key after you have paid the deposit, but you have not waited for three or four hours at the hotel to pay the link. In short, it is very ups and downs. The hotel toilet will be full of water after bathing. Because it belongs to the bed and breakfast, no one changed the bath towels to clean the room or the like. There are black spots on the bath towels ... the only benefit is that there is a microwave oven, oven ... you can make light meals.

Came to holiday inn Whitechapel with my mother and sister and it was pleasant. We were too early to check in but the receptionist came to us the minute our room was ready. The lounge area had a mini Starbucks and a buffet area. They also had a couch with a flat screen tv for those who are too early to check in. They took our bags to the back room while we waited. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and had everything we would need for two nights. The only negative I would say would be the sofa bed is a bit uncomfortable but if you’re staying for short term it’s really handy for just resting your eyes. The room was spotless and the location is amazing. There’s a Tesco and saintburys nearby if you wanted to bring drinks and snacks back to the room. Will gladly be coming back here. The location is amazing too and only a 10 min walk to the train station and in the centre of many popular attractions that are only a few stops away.

It was an excellent stay!! Very easy & safe getting into the building and room. The studio in itself was very spacious and had sooo many utensils and a manual book explaining how everything worked. It was very clean, a lot of local shops, a 24 hr convenience store and a 6-10 min walk from the DLR/ Overground/ underground. Would definitely stay again, maybe in the 1 bedroom next time!  Also the TV is great, we bought our PS5 just in case but the tv came with all streaming services, built in channels and screen mirroring!

Great experience staying at this place, easy, smooth and fuss free. The location was excellent, 5 min walk from the train and DLR stations and a short stroll to the vibrant Greenwich with all its attractions. We particularly appreciated the little kitchenette as we cook all our own meals. The bathroom was nice, spacious and warm. We had all we needed for a comfortable stay and would stay here again. Great value compared to what's available in London.

My recent stay at the Bexleyheath Marriott was a delightful experience. The hotel's convenient location, coupled with its modern and comfortable amenities, made it the perfect choice for my trip. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredibly comfortable queen-size bed. After a long day of exploring London, I found myself sinking into the soft, plush mattress and enjoying a restful night's sleep. The bedding was luxurious, and the room was quiet, providing the ideal environment for relaxation. Beyond the comfortable bed, the Marriott exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. The hotel's facilities were well-maintained, and the dining options were excellent. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a more formal dining experience, the Marriott has something to offer. Overall, I highly recommend the Bexleyheath Marriott for anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in London. The queen-size bed alone is worth the visit!

Lovely and modern inside main reception/restaurant area, but a few teething issues which will hopefully get sorted now up and running again. I was given the key to someone elses room, so walked into a room full of belongings and then the next day my key lost it's programming, so had to go back to reception yet again. Rooms aren't very sound proofed, so there was a few nights where I had people non stop walking through the corridors at gone midnight shouting and singing where likely drunk from the bar. Overall okay stay for the money though, bottles of water and a few biscuits were provided too which was a lovely touch. Bar prices very reasonable too

Terrible hotel. Checked in, got to room only to find someone else in bed. Was told by receptionist that ‘there couldn’t be’!! Stayed two nights. On both nights first two items on menu choice were unavailable. On second night third choice was Nachos. Delivered to table without chilies, sour cream or cheese. So just the tomato sauce then. Apparently the chef couldn’t find the ingredients 🤦. Upon check out charged twice on card. Asked how stay was and told. Ignored. Never stay there again.

Booked this hotel for parents who were visiting London. The hotel room on floor 4 was of a high standard with a view over the Thames. The gym was good and the outside seating of the restaurant enjoyable in the sunny weather. Unfortunately the ferry connecting Canary Wharf to the hotel was not in use but the hotel provided complementary shuttle taxis to the Uber boat pier and free travel on the Uber boat with the Hotel key card.

The TV wouldn’t work in our room and while the check in staff were very very helpful the maintenance team didn’t show up to sort it. The following day we asked to have a room change which was no problem but we were put directly over the train station. They do supply ear plugs but boy is it noisy! Rooms are clean, facilities are good, staff friendly just make sure you ask for a room the opposite side of the hotel to the train station, unless you are a train spotter!

Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Stayed for 3 nights with my mum in 2 rooms, I requested side by side or same floor rooms when I made the booking 3 months ago, however they put mum on ground floor and me in the basement. My mum’s room was terrible, smelt like damp wet carpet, it was tiny, dark and had no airflow. The bathroom was oddly located outside of the room through another door. My room was opposite a large storage space and next to the breakfast room. The noise from guests in neighbouring rooms, breakfast room in the morning, staff going in and out of store room and the constant sound from underground train every few minutes was quite unbearable. Even though I booked the same room type my room was much larger and better configured than the one my mum got. The place was a maze, the room numbering made no sense and we were forever getting lost. Staff were polite but definitely not service professionals and it was obvious that none of them wanted to be there. The only plus was location location location!!

My wife and I had a stay at Mimis recently, and overall, we enjoyed it and would stay there again. However, I suggest doing some research beforehand, as the rooms are quite tiny. Even though we were aware of this before arriving, we were still a bit surprised by just how small they were. Despite this, it didn't negatively impact our experience or spoil our stay. The room and bathroom was nicely decorated. I only have a few minor observations rather than complaints. Upon check-in, we requested a late check-out, but the person at the reception seemed a bit abrupt, as he did with an older couple in front of us who had questions about their room location in the annex and that they hoped to stay in the main building. The pillows provided were not very supportive, as they deflated to almost nothing. If we had stayed for more than one night and asked for extra pillows, they would have been accommodating. Regarding breakfast, we inquired about the options available and were informed that they offered coffee and pastries. Unfortunately, they couldn't provide hot food, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have the choice of continental-style breakfast with cold meats and other items; we would have been willing to pay for it as we only wanted somthing light. Despite these very small things, they did not affect our overall enjoyment of the stay. We still had a pleasant time, and we are looking forward to returning to Mimis in the future. Location is great!

Quite a bog standard Hilton. The location was ok, good for me as I like walking and I wanted to be somewhere a bit different to where I had been before. Reasonably close to a tube. Plenty of cafes and eateries nearby. The place was clean and the bed was comfy. It was just fine, nothing more than that. Reception area was nice, staff friendly but the room was bland and edging on tired. I didn't eat in the hotel. The toiletries and complimentary water was nice and the towels and shower were decent. Staff at The Waldorf are incredibly attentive to any / all needs. I asked for a later checkout and plates for food early in the morning after a night out and they accommodated that for us. The hotel is placed in a prime location, just a stones throw from Covent Garden and about 28-30 minutes walk from Regent Street. The hotel is only accessible by key card after hours; to ensure guest safety. Amenities in the room included an iron and board, kettle, drinking glasses and coffee / tea cups. The shower had fixed shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers. The mini bar was fairly priced for central London, but hadn't been cleaned (hence the slightly lower score on cleanliness). The air conditioning dried my throat out throughout the night, but turns off automatically if the window is open, so had to deal with that / just had water next to the bed throughout the night. The downstairs bar had a great atmosphere and boasts a large menu. Great for a late nightcap. Overall the experience was great. Our Queen room cost £179.00 for the night (excluding breakfast). I was offered two forms of upgrades. A larger Queen Room with breakfast included was only an extra £40.00, and a Kings Suite with access to the executive lounge and breakfast was £80.00 extra.
