Hotels Near Lacoste in Aix-en-Provence

It is really difficult to park in downtown Aix. It is recommended to call the hotel to reserve a parking space (there are three). This is a very popular hotel, very trendy. Several clerks are very enthusiastic, and Chinese people who are not good at English don't have to worry about communication problems. Because the road was being built nearby, the clerk patiently drew me a road map on the map, and also took the initiative to recommend restaurants and attractions to me. There are small supermarkets, fruit shops, snack shops nearby, and there are delicious restaurants where locals also go at the intersection, called Le Thermal. But it's best to go back to the hotel by 7pm.

Clean and updated room with small kitchen that has everything very nice helpful staff 10 min walk to center I had a large balcony (but there is no privacy between the other balcony ) and the balcony is off the bathroom which was a bit strange ….very quiet room nice stay

Eligible for business trip

This business needs a huge overhaul. It is unacceptable to rob guests with such terrible accommodation. I had booked 10 days in this place. Upon my arrival after a long trip with my heavy backpack, the receptionist ignored me as I waited for her to greet me. What a greeting! 'You will need to bring your rubbish in the bin before you leave; you will be given fresh linen in four days; you need to sign in to the internet every time you use it; you will need to do the dishes before you leave' etc...No welcome words, only orders. I felt I was signing in to jail! I have been in hostels in the past, am well travelled and I manage my expectations, but this was far worse than any hostel, airbnb, hotel, or residence I have ever been to. Upon entering my studio - I would not call it an apartment, I found the shower head dirty, the wastebasket dirty, the walls bare of any decor except for a cheap frame. There was only ONE plastic hanger in the closet, with all the others broken. In the kitchen, there was a 2oz bottle of washing detergent and not much at all, not even a coffee maker, just a kettle. There was only one roll of toilet paper for my 10 day stay. No one was ever at the reception except early in the mornings. You could not reach anyone in the afternoon or evening. When I ran out of toilet paper, I asked on my way out to have a few rolls dropped in my room. Upon my return that night, nothing. Luckily I met some guests who were sitting outside (equally unhappy with the residence), who saved me and were most kind, bringing me a roll. When the next morning I asked for toilet paper again, after having left a note at the unstaffed reception desk, I was finally given some. But fresh towels after 4 days? The response was ”well, I don't know, I have to ask my colleague...” I could not believe the staff's attitude. I was happily able to find a place 8 days later and could not leave soon enough. (Unfortunately, in high season and at the last minute, accommodations are nearly impossible to find in Aix.)

The hotel is not bad. We were forced to live in Aix because Marseille was holding a rugby match at the time, and one room was difficult to find. Fortunately, the traffic between Marseille and Aix is very convenient. This hotel is a bit difficult to find and the whole is very clean.

We have spent one night in this hotel a few kilometers from the center of Aix en Provence. The check in was quick and smooth and our room spacious and fairly clean. It was a pleasure to enjoy the swimming pool on a hot day like the one we had. It was a good stay and very good value for money considering the high prices in high season.

Very good, very good attitude

The photos have nothing to do with the reality even the very small pool while residents are many not a place for everyone. The day of our departure the staff didn't want to put my daughter's insulin in an inhuman refrigerator. while my daughter was in the toilet a staff man came into a door either saying convicted before the Check out without sounding to the I will not return the experience was laborious for 2 nights with children aged 14 and 8 years.

For the positive points: - the room was large and pleasant (suite). - the environment in the pine was quiet. - easy parking - right breakfast For negative points (unfortunately ...): - invasion of furnaces in the living area of our suite - the naturally filtered swimming pool has not packed us at all (green color and algae) and no shadow by 40 degrees. - We had asked to pay in ANCV checks at the arrival but the hotel debited us the amount of the room on our CB. - service completely to revis... I forgot a clothing in the room. I've called only a few hours after our departure. I've had several speakers for three days. I had to remember, but a young man, apart from Sunday night, I am disappointed because it seems to me that a 4-star hotel still needs to offer a certain standing to the clients.
