Right opposite overamstel metro station which was very convenient. Water fountain facilities available. Very accommodating staff.
They even had a Taylor Swift booth with bracelet making which was a nice touch with the ongoing Eras Tour
The hotel overall is fantastic given such price in Amsterdam. Although it is a bit away from city centre and metro station, the facilities and room are clean and spacious.
Nice hostel located in a lovely park. I was in a pod and I was glad I was with how busy the hostel was. They didn’t have a kitchen but offered all kinds of purchased food. You can also pay for a towel, late checkout, breakfast (it was ok), and other things. The shower was a shared mixed shower, which I wasn’t fully thrilled with. Make sure to bring a padlock to lock up your personal items.

Love to stay at this hotel as it's so close to the cruise terminal where we shall be boarding the cruise ship on the following day. From here, we could walk to the Amsterdam central train station and even to the downtown (China town is much close).
The reception staff and the luggage service were all very good.
The start of a friends European tour started exceptionally at Mercure City. The Hotel was clean and rooms were quiet. Just a little far out of city centre but train is within walking distance.
Overall a great experience for the price. Would recommend to others
My stay at Ruby Emma was wonderful, despite a small inconvenience upon arrival—my assigned room hadn’t been cleaned yet. However, the hostess at reception was incredibly kind and highly reactive. She immediately reassigned me to a larger room on the 11th floor with the best view in the hotel. On top of that, she offered me two vouchers for free drinks at the hotel bar as a gesture of goodwill.
The atmosphere is lively, the rooms are super comfortable with a sleek, modern design, and the location is unbeatable. The train station is just a short walk away, with the city center only 8 minutes away and the airport just 15 minutes by train. A truly great experience!
Because we lost our passport, the hotel reception is very nice!
They willing to help us pass the stored luggage to our arrange courier , would have been needing to take 14 hours flight if they didn’t help. Very appreciated for their service to hotel guests!
The place is nice, across there is a cafe.
Close to rai.
Their service is excellent. Appreciated that for the last bit !
It was the same booking but added breakfast
Spacious room.
Stylish design but the walls are quite mouldy
There’s drainage problem in the bathroom on the first night. The staff helped us to change the room swiftly.
One interesting thing - there is a card in the room to indication whether u need cleaning service or not, as in usual hotel. But the card got two side: - red, don’t need service and don’t come into the room; - blue: no cleaning but will be granted with the welcome drink voucher.
For some reason our card was flipped to red side and we couldn’t not found voucher. And even when we go down to the reception to ask for the voucher. They refuse to give us because they marked in the system that we put on the red side. We were like ummm fine but as a hotel we would appreciate if you could be less calculating and little more generous.
Quite far from the city centre we take Uber to get into the city centre ~€12.4 trip.
Amazing sunset and view from the room.
I have stayed in this hotel many times. It is close to the train station and only one stop away from the central station in the city center. It has a unique old building with a sense of design. The rooms on the ground floor are the largest and get smaller as you go upstairs. The top floor is a spire loft, and Pillar. The dark-skinned young waitress at the front desk had a very bad attitude. Because I had stayed there many times, I specifically made a note when booking that I didn’t want a room on the top floor because I was tall and had a lot of big luggage, but she gave me one when I checked in. The room on the top floor is not accessible by elevator. You have to take the elevator to the third floor and then walk down the steep wooden stairs with two large suitcases. I asked to change rooms. I made a note of my request when booking. She said You can't change, and the requirements in the remarks may not be met. I said that I can wait until other rooms are cleaned before I change. She insisted that I can't change, you can only stay in this room, and her attitude was very rude. I was in a hurry to go out, so I had to put down my luggage and go out to do errands. After I came back, I went to the front desk to complain to the manager, saying that I was treated rudely and with hidden racial discrimination, which I found unacceptable. The tall male manager immediately apologized and moved us to a room on a lower floor. The other staff at the hotel are very friendly, especially the middle-aged female manager at the front desk and the tall general manager.

Great
GGuest UserThe Treasure Hotel in Amsterdam, I searched for the recommendation on Xiaohongshu and found it after repeated comparisons. I don't like the old and noisy on both sides of the canal, and this hotel is near the tram and subway, in fact, it is very convenient to go everywhere. The room has an industrial style, is spacious and comfortable, and there are racks for drying clothes in the bathroom. As long as you can travel by yourself and understand a few words of English, there is no problem staying here.
양양리건아역배우It's a very nice room of 27m².
There was a very friendly staff at the 8th floor reception,
and a free cafe machine (coffee, hot chocolate, hot milk, hot water)
snack cookies and honey sugar milk
The best part was that apples, pears, bananas, and fruits were free
The 8th floor reception had a sofa like a cafe and a window with a great view
The staff tip was optional, but I couldn't help but give it because it was so good
A fun trip with a child
I was lucky and got a very nice room for the same price.
I definitely want to come back again
Sshuaiboy45The room is very clean. The hotel is in a good location, just next to the AMSTEL station, a 5-minute walk away. Many students live here and the atmosphere is relaxed. The breakfast and snacks are good. A very cost-effective choice.
EElena OmelchenkoThe hotel is nicely located in a quiet, green area by the lake, but in only 20 minutes by tram you can feel the Amsterdam vibe.
It’s clean and elegant, the staff at the reception and restaurant are friendly and helpful.
I found hotel breakfast a bit too expensive. It’s cheaper to eat in one of the cafés nearby, especially if you don’t eat much :)
The cleaning was ok, but the supply of toiletries and coffee was quite irregular.
In general, it’s a very nice hotel!
RRobert - Londonexcellent property ..rooms are clean & cosy . Guy on front desk was very helpful and upgraded my room ..hotel is not near dam square but by metro can be accessed in 15 min
reccomended hotel - i will stay there again for sure
JJenny YuThe staffs are very helpful and the cafe inside the hostel is pretty good, the location is very near the tram station and bus station, it is very suitable for backpackers!
