Fantastic Stay with Exceptional Breakfast Buffet I recently stayed at Relais des Plateaux and had an excellent experience. The hotel provides free airport pick-up and drop-off, which made my arrival and departure seamless. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was comfortable and well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant stay. One highlight of my stay was the breakfast. It was one of the best buffets I’ve had in years, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The selection was impressive and catered to all tastes. Overall, I highly recommend Relais des Plateaux for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, especially if you appreciate a top-notch breakfast!

Breakfast was average, but the hotel's optional dinner was delicious. The bathroom drainage in the room was poor. Overall, it was a good choice for the island of Madagascar. The staff at the front desk and the art shop were very polite and would follow up with us again.

I highly recommend it. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, the beds are decent, and the air conditioning worked. But the best thing about it is the restaurant. The food is delicious. I recommend the zebu tataki and the cream soup. The other dishes were good. The breakfast is varied and delicious. They make coffee, croissants, and other French sweets. There's a variety of fruits, meat, rice, and noodles.

It's very conveniently located close to the airport, with a free shuttle bus service, which is excellent. Our flight was at 7:30 AM, and we checked out at 5:30 AM; they even provided a breakfast box, which was fantastic. The hotel's environment and facilities were also acceptable, considering this is Madagascar.

I have now stayed at this hotel around five times and aside from it being a little Oasis in TANA, what I value most is the consistency of the offering and in particular, the service. You don’t get that everywhere in Madagascar but we are always comforted when we know we are coming to stay here.

This is our second stay at the Relais - we stayed here in 2025 just for one night but are now staying for two so we can decompress coming from London and also enjoy the pool and restaurant. There is also great WiFi so I can complete some work. Friendly staff, lovely food especially the breakfast which has a variety of hot dishes, cold buffet, pastries and omelettes. Rooms are good and the grounds delightful - a real oasis.
