The best hotel to be I can say the same when itc9mes to the S0a service. The rooms are neat and cleaned frequently. Nice and beautiful views, the beast meals I Caan ever ask for and safffety. Nice and peaceful I live the fact that it is kids friendly

We spent two nights which was once again memorable. I need to comment the staff from reception to restaurants for their professional and excellent service. First time staying outside of Cape Town so wasn’t sure what to expect. Simply, this is a wonderful hotel, amazing facilities, great food, stunning setting and the staff can’t do enough to ensure you have a great time. We will definitely be returning. We stayed for 12 nights and didn’t want to leave.

Arabella provides world class service. The hotel is situated on a beautiful lagoon overlooking a golf course. The spa facilities include a heated pool which provides an ideal distressing experience. Multiple outdoor swimming pools are available and the entire area is beautifully maintained.

After spending Christmas through to New Year’s Day I can honestly say that the service, facilities around the pool has deteriorated since last year. Staff service is extremely slow in the bar and pool areas also forgetting to put certain ingredients within a cocktail. Not enough pool loungers (less than in 2022) Guests having to lay on the lawn… little to no tables and chairs… the chairs which were there total of 5 are all broken, and tables filthy total of 4… thus Guests had no where to sit and eat. Old plates and glasses were just left for long periods of time so the areas was extremely messy.. The staff need serious training and facilities need to be addressed urgently. The middle pool and “heated” pool were just dirty… they need a serious vacuum… Southern Sun, is this really your standard and how did you get a 5 star rating??? Your really need to up your game!!

I was so looking forward to spending a love.y time here as I had such fond memories of my previous visit in Dec 2022. Pity the place has moved down a notch. WhilstI I understand the cost of refurbishments,the carpets, attention to detail is a miss. Not sure that the peak period capacity is understood. The spa area still excellent which I must compliment. We requested our mattress in our room to be changed and they need to locate one. Surely contingencies must be accommodated. Not truly 5 star.
