Popular Asahikawa 4-star Hotels

I think it's an old hotel, but it seemed recently refurbished. Hence, the room is modern! Though the room comes standard with a triple-double, it could comfortably accommodate another bed for 4 persons. The bathroom is spacious.

Location: Because there is a distance from Asahikawa station and airport, access is difficult unless there is a means of transfer by rental car. There is a bus to Asahikawa station. Parking is free. But there is virtually no advantage that stands out compared to other hotels in the city. Appearance: It is inferior to hotels in the same class in terms of money. Room: It is larger than the hotel room in the city with the same class amount. The view is good because it is on the high ground. You can recommend it to families with children. The cleanliness was no problem. Amenities and bed quality are at the level of a business hotel. Breakfast: There is no gorgeous in the menu and atmosphere. It was a set menu of western food. Breakfast in Hokkaido is high in level, so it is normal compared to that. The sausage smelled of sheep. ※ When there is no snow, it is recommended if a family with a child (up to elementary school students) uses it by car. The hotel side is also targeting such a layer of customers. ※ I think it will be the most common hotel close to Kamuisky Links for those who are not interested in city sightseeing and want to ski only. There is no direct connection resort hotel in Kamui ski links and there are no surrounding ski homestays. I think it can shorten a considerable time in round trips compared to hotels in the city such as OMO7. ７ If you take a plane leaving Haneda at the time, you can receive a ski express at the hotel front desk and if you work hard, you can arrive at the ski area of Kamui at １１. It is highly recommended for elderly skiers with the mobility that they have gone through the major ski resorts in Hokkaido.

I’m very surprised by the relatively low rating of this hotel. We had a very good experience here, and found the room to be spacious and comfortable (though fairly typical old-school Japanese hotel). Service was good overall and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in the best part of Asahikawa, near the main train station and the very cool and fun shopping street. The hotel also has an outdoor parking lot located immediately behind the hotel. Our only hiccup was that we arrived slightly before the 1500 check in time (we arrived at 1440) and were told we had to wait until exactly 1500 to check in. This is Japan and I appreciate being a stickler for the rules, but sometimes good customer service is about making calculated exceptions. Maybe next time. We would certainly recommend this place to others.

The Hotel is connected to the JR Asahikawa Stn! Exit station and walk toward the Aeon mall. The lift to the hotel is near Saizeraya. Love the fact that the hotel is situated on the fifth floor of Aeon shopping mall. That makes it super convenient to shop and eat especially when it’s-20 degree out side. Another plus point is that there is a bath house within the hotel. The bus stop to the famous Asahiyama Zoo is five minutes from the hotel. Strongly encouraged to stay here !

Very convenient location since it is near JR station and shopping district. Driving distance to attractions range from 20 mins to 1 hour. Amenities such as face oil,, toner, cream, tea bags, coffee drops bags, toothpaste and toothbrush are readily available at hotel lobby at no extra charge.

Rooms are clean, in moderate size. Location is right in front of Asahikawa JR station, and there are many lines of commute bus that direct to all main tourist spots. The only negative image of this place came from this lady staff in the restaurant during breakfast time. She has a very mean attitude to those who does not speak English/Japanese, a bit discriminatory I would say. The lady staff was standing by the exit to guide you. When my parents walked out after eating, she stopped them and call them over to the place where we can return the food tray. She checked all trays while ask them to wait, and found one with a table sign on it. Then she immediately start to blaming on my parents without listening to them nor did she try to communicate patiently. Although this was a total misunderstanding after I checked with my parents and figure out that it was someone else who mistakenly put the sign in the food tray (it’s suppose to be flipped on the table when you finish eating) afterwards. The lady start talking nicely to me because I speak English and a bit Japanese, but her attitude and tone to my parents was absolutely rude.

The location is great with AEON and many restaurants nearby, JR station is also within walking distance. Too bad there's no free parking from the hotel but there's a few choices of paid parking areas around the hotel, the parking area without roof opposite hotel is cheaper than the one in the building. Sleep wear and deodorize spray are provided. Public bath is clean. All the basic amenities are provided. Clean, new and well maintained hotel. Overall happy with my stay here.

I originally liked route inn the most in the business hotel chain. If you are traveling alone, you don't have to be so careful. Japan is grateful that clean business hotels are developing to medium-sized cities. However, in Honshu, route-in is often difficult to use by rail (car location), but in Hokkaido, route-in is often in front of the station, so it is easy to use. When you leave Asahikawa Station, which creates a comfortable space with plenty of trees, you can't get lost because the route in front of Grand Asahikawa Station rises in front of you. On the left side of the station, there is also an AEON MALL equipped with a cinema complex, so you can enjoy buying souvenirs, buying travel supplies, and watching road show movies on your travels. The good thing about the route inn is that you can watch paid satellite broadcast WOWOW for free on the TV in the room. The front desk is on the 3rd floor. It is not open 24 hours on the first floor (business hours 7:00 ～ 22:00, closed on January 1), but there is a convenience store ”Seiko Mart” with many supporters in Hokkaido. The lobby on the front floor is very large. After checking out, I adjusted the time here because I had a little time to get on the train. Isn't it convenient to meet in Asahikawa, which is exceptionally cold in winter? People may have different tastes, but I can sleep well in the route-in bed. I think it's because it's not fluffy. It depends on the location of the room, but from the room I stayed, I could see the train departing and arriving at Asahikawa Station. There is Tenjinkyo natural hot spring ”Traveler's Hot Spring” on the 17th floor of the top floor. The big bath stretches your legs and heals the fatigue of the trip. I entered twice at night and in the morning. The hotel has a large communal bath of another major hotel chain in Hokkaido, and the rooms have only a r shower booth, but it is also good to have a bathroom with a bathtub properly. It's not a special luxury hotel, but I think it's the best hotel as a business hotel. I think it can be used for business, sightseeing and multipurpose purposes. Next time, if you have a chance to come to Asahikawa, this is the hotel you want to choose first.

The transportation is convenient, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Asahikawa Station. The bathing environment is very clean and comfortable, the temperature of the hot spring is not high, the additional services are very good, and there are ice products for bathing. There is also a midnight snack. Delicious, but average in the room.

This is my regular accommodation when visiting Asahikawa. The front desk is also a pleasant customer service, and although the large public bath is not large, it is healed enough. I especially like the bar on the top floor.
