The hotel itself is in a very handy location. We were in Auckland for SailGP and found the buses and trains were all close by, which made getting around really easy. Having a carpark available was also a real bonus. The room itself was very comfortable and the beds were great, which made for a good night’s sleep. One surprise was that our room was not serviced after our first night. When we returned for our second and final night, no one had been in to clean or refresh the room. Reception hours were also a little unusual, operating from 9am until 9pm. My card did not work to open the reception door when we arrived back, so I needed to call the number provided to be let in. Overall though, it was a very comfortable stay in a super handy location.

The room decoration is relatively average, but the hotel location is very good. Parking is also convenient and it is within walking distance to New Market and Mount Eden. The front desk is very friendly and polite, and can provide service in Chinese. There is also a Chinese restaurant downstairs.

Because there are children, I booked a family room. The room is very large, with a large bed and a single bed. The sheets and quilts are very clean. The bathroom is very clean. 24-hour hot water is very convenient. There is a kettle, microwave, toaster, and refrigerator. You can make a simple breakfast. It's very convenient. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. It's an 8-minute walk to Westfield sc. It's a 3-minute walk to the bus station. 30, 70, and 309 all go directly to the City center. It's a 10-minute walk to Newmarket train station. I highly recommend this place.
