Good location to many attractions. However the bell service is really bad. The answer to the request of borrowing umbrella during rainy day is ”No. It's your own responsibility”. Have never mer thus kind of rude service in a hotel.

XXunxiangle 2024.10.08
This is the smallest Ritz-Carlton I have ever stayed in. The sensor setting of the refrigerator in the room of the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco is really too small. Location: The location is near the red line of the cable car, which is the place where the Internet celebrity punches in. Just turn right and climb a steep slope when you leave the hotel. Room facilities: This is the worst Ritz-Carlton I have ever stayed in. The room should be renovated. It is quite small. The overall layout is just average. And I was given a very far room. From the elevator to the room, you have to walk for a long time. If you push the box, it is very strenuous. The drinks and alcohol in the room are also set up with sensors one by one. The waiter also has to explain that if you take it out for more than a few minutes, you will have to charge money. Is this the layout of the Ritz-Carlton? ? ? The bathtub and shower area are not separated. They are together. Bad review. Breakfast: Breakfast is not self-service, but ordered. There are few choices and the price is amazing. Unexpected. Gym: The gym is still well-equipped and open 24 hours a day. Value for money: The overall value for money is average.

Best hotel I've stayed in in San Francisco. The view is great and worth the price. The service is very good, and the small restaurant downstairs is also good. You can try it. Because it is located in the financial district, there are not many homeless people and tourists. There are a lot of places to eat and drink around, but there are no signboards. You can find them by searching online.

The location of the hotel was great. It is right in the center of Union Square. There is a Macy’s and lots of places to shop nearby. They charge a city tax of 35 dollars a day but in return you can get 30 dollars to eat inside hotel for every day. Also you can have 10 dollar uber voucher for one time and 2 water bottles. The room was spacious with a great view. Inside of the hotel was very historic. About the downsides the drains in the bathtube was bot working and that’s why It was a little hard to get a shower. Also there was a strike going on just outside of the hotel. They said that the union and the hotel couldn’t have an agreement. That’s why some of the restaurants are closed. Also just outside of the hotel there are 20-30 people shouting and hitting into metal boxes in order to make sound from 7 A.M. till 12 P.M. If I go back to San Francisco I can definitely choose this hotel if there is no strike. I suggest you call the hotel about the strike situation before make the booking because It is really disturbing.

All of the staff seemed really nice. From the moment we arrived and had a friendly greeting from the valet parking worker, to the ladies that we interacted with in reception. The room was nothing special, but by that I mean it had no outstanding features, or any distinguishable traits that would separate it from other hotels The concierge was friendly and helpful, and was very useful in helping us to plan our activities. And the hotel is in a good location to get to the pier or do the 'big bus' tour. But here's the downside. The gym is small, had no steriliser, or wipes, even though one of the rules stated in the gym is to wipe down the equipment after use. And the overall impression of the gym is that it could do with a really good clean from top to bottom. Added to that there's the washing machine and tumble dryer located in the gym. Yes that's right, in the actual gym. Now we were very happy when we read about the hotel having washing machine facilities, but we were slightly surprised at it's location. Another thing was the air con. We stayed in September and although the weather for the season was just starting to cool down after the summer, it was still fairly warm. The air con looked as if it had been fitted in the seventies and made a sound as if it had been running non stop ever since then. It was so noisy that we had to turn it off completely at night time and at different times during the day. On a final point we received news regarding the death of my partner's daughter, which meant that we had to cut our whole vacation short including this leg of the trip. We informed the front desk that we would be checking out one day early. We were not expecting a refund, for that day, but after being told by the member of staff that the 30 dollar a night 'destination fee' would be waived for the night that we were not going to be there, we later found out that this fee had still been added to the final bill. We still have no idea what a 'destination fee' is, but to be charged it when we weren't even at the hotel was extra galling. And what was also strange was the fact they didn't even ask why it was that we had decided to cut our stay short? Would you not be interested to know whether something was wrong with your customers stay, and to know why they had cut their visit short?? A bit of a poor end to a otherwise 'ok' stay at the hotel.

From Roosevelt to Biden now, they all stayed at this hotel when they came to San Francisco. The hotel is very old and very large. The Christmas decorations on the first floor attract visitors. The service in the hotel is very good and professional, and sometimes the Chinese language is also spoken. It is worthy of having served the president. However, the hotel facilities are average. Even a suite with an area of over 100 square meters cannot escape the small bathroom of a few square meters. You need to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. The sink is very small. If you are not careful, your toothbrush and toothpaste will fall into the toilet. The network is very good, that's okay. Located at the highest point in San Francisco, the view is great, and the room looks directly at ** Island. Walking down the hillside, you will find Chinatown and Union Square 2 blocks away. You need to climb back up, which is a bit hard.

NNanoIt was in a great location, close to the tourist area and close to the bus stop. The room has three bunk beds, two chairs, a locker for valuables, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The bed had blackout curtains on the top and bottom, which were very easy to close, and it was simple and comfortable enough for just sleeping. The valuables locker could be locked if you had your own padlock, and it was not like the lockers in Boston where you store your bags and clothes, but only small handbags and valuables. Breakfast was free and consisted of cereal, yogurt, bananas, etc. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely use the hotel again if I have the chance to go again.

TTianmaxingkongThe hotel is located in the center of the old city, very close to Jiuquhua Street (the navigation actually leads downhill from Jiuquhua Street, too steep, a bit scary). Walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf. Marriott Hotel is right next to it. In such a location, there is a free parking fee. The hotel does not look old. The twin room is not small and two boxes can be easily placed. The overall feeling is better than the online review.

CChristopherOverall a great urban hotel at which I’ve stayed a number of times. Despite not being a huge fan of the W brand (a bit too trendy as I age) the location and value are hard to beat. The service is friendly and attentive; the rooms are nicely appointed—I appreciate the Nespresso machine and decent toiletries. The restaurant has good, fresh food for breakfast and friendly and efficient service. On a stay last month I came down with Covid and ended up in my room for a week; the staff was very considerate about bringing deliveries and checking to make sure I had everything I needed. They would pack room service as “to-go” items but the food was still warm and tasty when it arrived, and with everything needed for a proper meal. Note that some of the lower floor rooms don’t have much of a view beyond looking at the side of a building next door, so if that’s of importance make sure to books a higher category room.

HHONGJUNThe location of the hotel is OK, just near Union Square, within a 500-meter walk of the hotel, there are many dining options, as well as restaurants and bars on the first floor of the hotel. Their services and conditions are pretty good. Regrettably, this time I stayed at the hotel, it happened that the hotel and building opposite were being renovated, and the noise was huge, which seriously affected the rest and overall feeling. We stayed in three types of rooms during the whole trip. The 5th floor viewing room was slightly quieter, and the 2nd floor suite was noisier. The fitness center of the hotel is outsourced Active, two blocks around the corner, about 5 minutes walk, it's ok.

Bbdawwg 017Was an excellent location to Fisherman's Wharf. Hotel was very secure and comfortable. Showing it's age and there's a few things that are overlooked in terms of cleanliness but I'm in the business and have an eye for these things. Didn't bother us though. Room seemed updated and the fans were appreciated as there's no A/C. Great proximity to all the things. Walked to Golden Gate bridge and the Alcatraz Pier. There was construction the day we arrived in a room close to us, but workers were very polite and apologetic and finished the noise around 5pm. Didn't continue the next day so that was nice and we slept in. Over-all was a good stay.

It's right next to the Civic Center stop, the front desk attendants were kind and helpful, room was simple and clean. Nice big bathroom mirror. Wireless was good, I worked during the day in my room. The coffee shop inside the hotel was closed for some reason, but there's so much coffee in SF I'd just walk somewhere.
