Wonderful place, stayed 2 nights, really liked it, clean room with a terrace, clean bed linen and fresh towels, there is a kettle and tea set, hot water in the shower, gel shampoo, dental kit. No hair dryer, safe, refrigerator. Daily cleaning. Not far from the hotel there are shops, a gas station and cafes. But there are some nuances, we had house number 15, water was flowing from under the sink, there were some pieces of dirt in the shower, it smelled of dampness when we checked in, but we aired it out. Around the hotel there is a private sector, the smell of manure and poultry, the squeal of pigs. In the evenings, the singing of a local mullah. I highly recommend this hotel for accommodation, thank you for the warm welcome 🙏 and the inscription of my name from petals, for the welcome drink and swans
Sumberkima has an excellent Social Media Team because what you see in the pictures is similar to what you get (room-wise). However, what they don’t tell you is how there is absolutely nothing there except the programmes and activities that they run (for a price, of course). Honestly, the villas itself are beautiful. So if you intend to just stay in and chill, it’s probably fine, but i’m not so sure if it’s really worth traveling all the way there for the views as the views were…okay. Moving around the Sumberkima Resort is also a challenge as it is very hilly and the roads are not paved well. They do provide a buggy service that you can call, but again, unless you are doing one of their programmes or activities, there really isn’t much to do or see. The types of people you see there are “influencer” types and seem to belong to the more hip, ‘eat, pray, love’ kind of crowd. So if that’s your thing, then great!
TLDR;
PROS: -
- beautiful villas
- great amenities in villa
- room service available on request
- buggy service responsive and good (can bring you to anywhere in Sumberkima town for free, but the town doesn’t have much. We spent our time going to Alfamart to stock up on instant noodles and snacks)
- they have a Whatsapp chat for your villa specifically, so service is good
- staff are very helpful and friendly
- resort food was pretty good
CONS:
- it is farrrrrrr (but this could be a good thing too if you really want peace and quiet)
- the closest clinic is in the next town (~15 mins by car…i fell violently ill 1 of the days and was concerned about receiving medical care, so i asked the hotel staff)
- resort is difficult to get around
- many mosquitoes and spiders
- resort and area don’t have much facilities unless you do their activities or programmes
- if your villa is near the Yoga Chalet, you will hear music from the sessions
- you may also hear prayer calls from the Mosques nearby
- if you’re more introverted, you may not enjoy the crowd that goes to these places
A very nice place to stay, especially if you are travelling around the north of Bali or returning from Java.
The room was very clean, well maintained and tidy - much nicer than most budget options in the area.
The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had a great night's sleep after a long journey.
There is everything you need: hot water, air conditioning, a good breakfast.
The hosts are very nice and helpful - if necessary, they can help with organizing diving, a trip to Menjangan Island or other activities in the area.
A perfect place for a short stop and rest. Thank you very much!

The place was not hard to find, access was prety easy and staff were incredibly friendly. The garden was well taken cared of, it was nice stay for three of us. We stayed at room with fan, ok cause during the night it was not hot and we didn't stay during the day anyway. The staff could help us with anything including arranging the trip. Would love to come back for sure.
There were not many guests staying in the whole resort, and it was very quiet. When there was no hot water reaction at night, someone was sent to deal with it. After the sunburn, the front desk phone was immediately sent with fresh aloe vera. Three pools, two restaurants and a spa were almost contracted. Adjacent is the local villagers and other villas. I like the tranquility very much. There are no tourists.
Very love this place and return with pleasure.
If you need a reboot, you won't regret it.
For us all in one bottle: and the room and territory and the beach where you can do diving, snorkeling and just swimming.
This year, the full delight is the meeting with turtles 🥰
Good massage at the spa center.
Thank you very much for the hospitality of 🙏
When you stay at Menjangan View in Pejarakan, you'll be near the beach and within a 5-minute drive of Banyuwedang Hot Spring Water. This guesthouse is 2.5 mi (4.1 km) from Pasir Putih and 3.2 mi (5.1 km) from Pemuteran Bay.
Don't miss out on recreational opportunities including an outdoor pool and bicycles to rent.
At Menjangan View, enjoy a satisfying meal at the restaurant. Local cuisine breakfasts are available daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM for a fee.
Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities.
Make yourself at home in one of the 6 guestrooms.
Excellent welcome. The rooms are arranged around a small, well-maintained garden. This hotel, slightly less expensive than those by the sea, is well worth choosing for its top-notch comfort. The pool and the restaurant complete this moment of pleasure. We highly recommend this choice. Xavier and Nadine.
I live in Bali. I use this spa every year during the New Year holidays. I'm a repeat customer. It's a very good spa. The grounds are just the right size, so you can go for a walk in the morning and then take a bath in the spa before welcoming the New Year. The food (breakfast) is also just right.
It was very good. I stayed at the Bay View. The room was a little big even for one person. There is only one hot spring, but if you change the time you can have it all to yourself. The water is lukewarm, so you can stay in it as long as you like. The facilities are a little old, but it's great for enjoying rural Bali. Breakfast is a la carte, but they will accommodate you to a certain extent. The staff are simple and nice. There is no TV in the room, but the water pressure and quantity of the shower are sufficient. The minibar sometimes doesn't cool, so be careful, and they will replace it if you ask. Menjagan is in the countryside, but I think it's good there. Make sure you have a means of transportation during your stay. I think walking is difficult.

ДДарьяExcellent house guest. Clean, comfortable, very kind staff, all showed up told. Stopped for one night, very nice home breakfast was in the morning, recommended.
GGuest UserAn eco resort in a national park with Balis best snorkelling a short boat ride away! Cute cottages, open air restaurant steps from the beach, pool, day spa, and day Activités can be organised through the helpful staff. Restaurant serves Balinese and Western food, with affordable prices. Deer and black monkeys hang out in the resort grounds. If you’re looking for a getaway that’s actually away from it all, check Nusa Bay out! Note: a) boat access only with a boat leaving about four times a day. There’s Balinese white Starling (critically endangered) in the trees around the mainland boat harbour.
b) beach has lots of coral so it wouldn’t be great for little kids to play in the shallows, but there’s a nice pool!
Ddewy-swanThe hotel is located in the Western National Park, and there are dead trees everywhere. I thought it was strange. After asking, it turned out that everything starts to grow only in November when the rainy season begins. The hotel service is very good, and the snorkeling at Menjangan Island is also good. You can also go to the adjacent hotel Octagan to experience different meals. The two hotels provide free transfers and share the pier.
The hotel forgot to change the bath towels, which is not satisfactory.
GGuest UserThe room is spacious, with a private pool, close to the beach, within walking distance, very convenient, the breakfast is delicious, the staff is friendly and professional, overall it's good!
CCoatesThe hotel is exquisite with its huge rooms, amazing showers, large verandas with out ceiling fans. The pool was just right and every meal was delicious. The garden setting is stunning and only a short walk to the beach, hot springs, restaurants
And massages. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. I will be back for much longer next year.
