Most enjoyable two night stay with super staff - both at check-in with Marcus and all those working in the restaurant. The harbour location is really quiet and well off the main road. Charming rorbu fishermen's cottage (this is not a 3/4 star standard hotel so you should do a little research in advance as to facilities). Strong wi-fi and looking out on the harbour from our cottage was idyllic. The restaurant, separately housed, was equally impressive in all respects and for evening meals do not even consider Ballstad town, stay home and eat ”in.” Ambience, cuisine and service was very good indeed. My husband and I had an awesome time on this deep sea fishing trip with Captain Borge! We were blown away with the amount of fish we caught as a group. The Captain has such an immense wealth of knowledge. It was amazing to learn how to fish from him and to see him fillet the fish! Would definitely do this again and recommend to friends! And all for a very competitive price!
