When we arrived Bangkok the first time we booked Mango Lagoon place. Check in went ok. They offered breakfast buffet for 170 bath. The buffet was only a fried egg and a toast and jam. Coffee or tea. We had to ask for bacon and tomato beans that was marked on there blackboard for that price. When the egg was cold, they arrived with beans and bacon. If we hadn’t asked, we had never got it. Anyway that was our first experience. One month later, at the end of our trip, we had already made a reservation at this hotel with Agoda. Confirmed and paid. Money already drawn from my credit card. When we showed up at the hotel, they told us to pay again. I said that it was already paid. They refused to give us a room, If we didn’t pay again. We asked them to contact Agoda to confirm that the room for two nights was already paid, but they refused. We were not interested to pay double. First to Agoda, and then directly to the hotel. The worst service we had experienced in Thailand. We booked another hotel, and we contacted Agoda, and they say they will refund the money that was already paid. Good service from Agoda, but very bad service from Mango lagoon place in Bangkok. It is many good and cheap hotels in Bangkok! Try to avoid Mango Lagoon place!
