I came to the UK for 12 days this time. This is my first time writing a review because I want to tell everyone not to step on the pit. 1. The hotel is newly opened and the location is very convenient. It is next to Trinity College and the commercial street. It is convenient for eating and playing.
2. The hotel room is large in this location because all the facilities are new and relatively complete. The corridor is a bit like a maze, and there are four doors to the room.
3. I want to complain that parking is inconvenient. You have to go to the parking lot of the nearby shopping mall. The navigation basically can't get downstairs, so you need to find it slowly by yourself.
4. Check in on August 1, 2024. The hotel is newly renovated. The smell is very strong and choking. The window of the room cannot be opened, and the smell cannot be released. It feels like a human filter for a night. The smell is so strong that you can't open your eyesđ„”
5. Be sure to pay attention to the toilet button in the hotel bathroom. It is easy to get your hand pinched when you press it. I was pinched. Due to language problems, I did not negotiate with the hotel. If I were in China, I should have stayed for free.

The hotel environment is very good. Although it is about 15 minutes' drive from the center of Oxford, it is also very convenient for tourists who drive by car.
A large lawn is next to the Tom River. It is great for running or walking in the morning.
The facilities are also new. For a British country hotel, I think it is already very good. Each room on the first floor also has a small outdoor table.
The hotel's own restaurant tastes good. The staple food is 25 pounds per portion, which is a lot, but it is a bit salty.
The only shortcoming is that I booked a king-size bed room, but the front desk gave me an ordinary standard king-size bed room. Fortunately, I can add an extra bed (15 pounds), otherwise I must have to deal with them.
Ctrip is not kind either. It charged the premium room fee for a king-size bed (nearly 1,000 more expensive) but did not do the job. The English confirmation letter says: kingbed, and the corresponding bed should be super kingsize. The hotel thinks it is kingsize, which is 1.5m in the UK, and super kingsize is 1.8m.

The Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford is a stylish hotel located on the outskirts of Oxford, offering a blend of comfort and convenience. Lucky to have some light decorations to the rooms due to availability. The room is spacious which come equipped with comfortable bed, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities. Slight pointer is that there is no heat warmer or heater in the room.
The hotel features an on-site restaurant and bar, where visitors can enjoy a variety of meals, including a well-regarded breakfast. For relaxation, the property offers excellent leisure facilities, such as an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, sauna, and steam room but you need to make prior appointment before usage. These amenities are especially appreciated by those looking to unwind after exploring the historic city of Oxford.
Situated near major road networks, the hotel is ideal for travelers arriving by car, with on-site parking available. However, some guests note that parking might come with an additional charge but come at fixed $6 per day. The room is clean and hygienic, the service attitude is very good, and the repair problem is solved immediately. However, because the hotel is quite old, the water pressure in the shower is too low. I hope it can be improved in the future.

The location of the hotel was very unexpected. I originally thought that I was looking for a hotel in the suburbs, and the surrounding area should be very empty and deserted. Before booking, I saw many reviews saying that the hotel parking lot was large and parking was very convenient. When I arrived at the hotel, I thought the navigation was wrong and confirmed again and again whether it was this hotel. The hotel is actually located in a residential area, surrounded by very dense residential buildings. The road is very small, with one lane in each direction. We arrived in the evening. Cars were parked on both sides of the road, each occupying half of the lane, leaving only a car-wide space in the middle of the road, and two-way traffic. There is no gate in the hotel area, and the parking lot and roadside parking spaces are integrated. On that day, an Indian family happened to hold a wedding at the hotel. The parking spaces and unmarked parking spaces at the entrance of the hotel were full of cars. We drove to the innermost and couldn't find a place to park. The hotel front desk asked us to find a parking space on the road by ourselves, and finally parked in a relatively far place. There is no business or catering around the hotel. The bus stop is a 6-minute walk from the hotel. Buses 3, 3A, and X40 can all go to Oxford Town Center (Hight Street), which is quite convenient.

It is near Oxford University, and the library is only a 10-minute walk away. The hotel room is small, the bathroom is also small, and the hotel signal is not good. Considering the parking problem in Oxford, I chose a hotel with a parking lot and paid 10 pounds for parking. However, there was no parking space after paying the fee. I was not allowed to park until 8 o'clock in the morning. All passengers were informed that they must leave before 11 o'clock in the morning. In fact, you can park on the roadside from 6:30 pm to 8 am, plus you can park for free for 3 hours during the day, which is almost enough. The hotel charges are very unreasonable!
Situated in the heart of the historic university city of Oxford, this beautiful 17th-century coaching-inn looks over the Examination Halls and Magdalen Tower. The convenient central location allows guests to easily discover Oxford most iconic landmarks. City sightseeing tours are available in the area, making this a great base for guests who want to explore. The hotel offers modern, comfortable rooms which are perfectly equipped to accommodate individuals, couples and families.

This is my second time staying at the hotel. This time the hotel upgraded the front desk and the room for me. I still like the atmosphere here, the excellent location, the quiet environment, the elegant service, some facilities need to be upgraded, especially the air conditioner and bedding, but overall it is still worth staying. The hotel provides mineral water and cola drinks. Slippers can be asked for at the front desk.

GGuest UserThis is a hotel converted from an old castle prison. It is very innovative. There are two types of rooms. One is a room converted from two cells, and the other is a normal room. The window of the room converted from the cell is a small upper window like in the prison. The normal room I booked has a balcony. It depends on everyone's preference. The room has a coffee machine and a towel heating rod. The shower room is small and the button area is large, but it takes some skills to press it. The first time I pressed it for a long time, it didn't trigger. The air conditioning in my room was slightly insufficient, but the hotel service staff actively solved the problem. The overall service was very warm and thoughtful, sharing town maps and so on, so despite the slight inconvenience, I still like the style and service of this hotel. The breakfast is also good, and the black pudding is awesome. In addition, some rooms have stairs in addition to the elevator. If you have large luggage, you can try to contact the hotel to use the small elevator, as shown in the last picture
GGuest Uservery nice boutique hotel with a good bar and restaurant below. The room nice, clean, minimalist but good furniture and decent shower. Only one complaint - if you are not a fan of capsule coffee (and I am definitely not) and you just want a cup of tea, it's a pain to have to google the coffee machine to work out how to use it when just a simple kettle would have been fine. Just 4 for the location because of the chaos at the Botley road bridge which is going on till this time next year at least! Lovely breakfast menu with good service.
GGuest UserWe loved staying at the Mad hatter. The location is only 10-15 mins from the city centre, staff was ever so helpful, and the room is very atmospheric, it felt incredibly lush without being over the top and tacky. The room was very clean and felt brand new. Only downside is the karaoke bar downstairs, but they kindly provide earplugs and anyway it stops early. We would definitely book it again.
GGuest UserI really like travelodge, would come here over and over again. Clean Lilly white towels. My room was warm enough and not too cold. They had turned on the heater before I've arrived. Customer service was great too. Only wish they had a fridge and microwave in the room, besides that everything is perfect.
WWEIQINGThe hotel is a little bit away from downtown Oxford. If you are driving, you can choose here. Free parking, breakfast is good, clean and hygienic, good service attitude
GGuest UserThe talkhouse was a really homely accommodation right outside of Oxford. The room was exactly like the pictures. The staff were incredibly helpful and I must say the showers is probably one of the best Iâve had in the uk. (Proper water pressure, temperature and drainage so Iâm not swimming in my own filth). Also have a drink or dinner at the pub, itâs seems to be a popular favourite amongst the locals as well. One thing to note for light sleepers, the rooms are side by side so you might hear your neighbours & it is right by the road so youâll be able to hear vehicles at busier times.
GGuest UserFantastic place for a quiet stay within a 25-minute walk of Oxford city centre. The accommodation is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making it a truly relaxing retreat. We had to be up early in the morning, but the location was very quiet. Mandy who assisted us with check in was incredibly professional and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. Highly recommend this gem.
SSoe Hlaing**Hotel Review: Easy Hotel Oxford**
I recently stayed at Easy Hotel Oxford, and it was a convenient and affordable choice. The check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly. The room was small but clean, with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower. While there werenât many extras, it had everything I needed for a short stay.
The location is fantasticâclose to public transport and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Perfect for exploring Oxford on a budget!
Overall, Easy Hotel Oxford is a great option if youâre looking for simplicity, cleanliness, and value for money.
Rating: ââââ
GGuest UserWe stayed just one night to meet family members for dinner in Oxford.
It is very well located for the city cetre. Despite that, it is in a quiet location and we had a good night's rest in a small but comfortable room.
It lacks the range of facilites that you may want for a long stay. For example, it has no lounge, restaurant or lifts, which is the only reason I could not give 5 /5 for facilites. What facitlities is does have are good: in room tea and coffee making, television, radio and WiFi. Staff are friendly and helpful.
We came by car and used the Park and Ride system, which is excellent. Oxford bus services are good. The hotel is also only a short taxi ride from the station if you go by train.
The hotel was ideal for a short stay and we will use it again.
GGuest UserThe staff there were very enthusiastic and friendly, and the room was clean and tidy. The house's location is perfect, close to the train station, and very convenient. The power sockets in the room are a bit few, it is inconvenient to can not charge at the bedside.
