A very nice hotel. First of all, the location is very convenient. It is in a corner of Plaza de España. You can buy a 48-hour subway ticket from the airport. You only need to transfer once and it is right outside the subway station. The hotel is also very modern and stylish. The lobby is spacious with a large sofa. There is a good gym in the basement. The room is large, spacious and bright, with a large wardrobe. The best thing is the bathroom. The toilet and shower have handrails, which is convenient for the elderly. The room is very clean, and the bed sheets are not changed every day (I don't think it is necessary). There are two subway lines that lead to the city center, which is very convenient to various tourist attractions. It takes ten to 30 minutes to get there. The only drawback is that the window faces the street, which is still a bit noisy. Prepare a pair of earplugs.

It is relatively easy access to the metro but still a little far from the centre and most attractions. But not a very big deal as BCN isn’t that big. The service was just fair. The staff wasn’t very welcoming nor rude, more of just performing robotic tasks. The room was just okay as we were arranged the inner room, no view at all and even there was a column in my room. A bit weird to us. The bottle of water was complimentary for one only while it was actually for a double room for two people more logically. The check in and check out service were fast and efficient.

I recently stayed at Barceló Sants Hotel and had an excellent experience. The hotel’s unique, space-inspired design stands out and makes for a memorable atmosphere. Conveniently located above Sants train station, it offers direct access to local and high-speed trains, making it easy to explore Barcelona and surrounding areas. Pros of the hotel: good location (close to the metro and the center), friendly staff, 24-hour reception, spacious rooms with a good design, a huge comfortable bed, there is a refrigerator, slippers and cosmetics are provided, you can take a kettle to your room at the reception and use it all the time Cons: terrible soundproofing, you can hear everything from the hallway and from the neighbors. Our neighbors were noisy, but the staff tried to help us calm them down over the phone. They also ask for bank card details upon check-in.

There seems to be a considerable difference depending on the room type. I wanted to keep the cost down to some extent, so I stayed in a room located between the 1st and 2nd floors. It was never large but clean. The window was in a place adhesive to the floor, and when I opened it, it was close to the person who went through the street. It's not a big street, probably because there is a university nearby, but there are always people going there during the day, and the windows are always closed because I can hear the voice. There is a small window in the bathroom in the same position, but when I use the shower, it will be stuck, so I sometimes opened it here (you may see it if you don't close it when you do the tray). There is a garbage collection place in front of the hotel, and there is a terrible sound of glass crushing several times a day, probably because the bottle is being collected. The walls of the hotel are so thin that you can hear the conversation of the next person. Location is good! About 5 minutes walk from Universidad station? It's about a 10-minute walk from Plaça de Catalunya, where the airport bus stops, and you can take a little bit of it on the cobblestones, but it's a distance that even small women with suitcases can walk. There seems to be no problem with the security of the surrounding area. During my stay, I contacted the front desk of about 3 people, but everyone felt good and kind. There is a free water server on the 2 or 3 floor of the building, with room temperature water, cold water, gas water and maybe ice? I could choose. I drink a lot of water, so this was a surprisingly nice and helpful point. And the shower that Japanese people are particularly concerned about is the highest temperature and pressure! The temperature seems to be rather hot 々, so be careful not to find a suitable temperature and burn it. I don't know other hotels in Barcelona, so I'm sorry, but the overall impression is that it's worth the price. The room was honestly not good, but the expected value was not high, and it was enough to think of it as a place to sleep for a few days in sightseeing.

Hotel was conveniently connected to a mall and within a 15-min taxi ride from Barcelona Sants train station. Room was clean with a bathtub in the toilet. Check-in was fast and smooth with polite staff. Overall a very pleasant stay with easy access to food and shopping right at the doorstep.

I chose Astoria for New Year's Eve in Barcelona. The room layout is comfortable and it's quiet at night, which makes people feel very at ease. The location is great! It is very convenient to travel by bus or subway. There are many restaurants, cafes and shopping areas nearby. You can walk to La Pedrera, Casa Batlló and other places. Life is convenient and safe. The hotel also gave us 12 candies and grapes, from which we learned about Spain’s New Year’s Eve culture. The small details were surprising!

When I asked to leave my luggage early in the morning, I checked in because the room was vacant. Employees 々 was really kind and had a very good stay. Unfortunately, the tea I drank on the rooftop was a tea pack. It's okay if the price is high, so I wanted you to provide something that I was particular about. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, but it was very delicious!
