I stayed in two hotels during my trip to Barcelona, and Hotel Astoria was the first. The location is excellent, and the hotel itself is good. If I ever come back to this city, I would definitely stay here again, primarily because of its fantastic location. You can walk everywhere from here, and there are delicious cafes and restaurants nearby. It was indeed expensive, but worth it.

The room was a bit old, but no issues. The location isn't right in the heart of the city, but it's a short walk to Casa Milà, and sightseeing is quite easy from here. In fact, it's nice and quiet. Breakfast is expensive at 19€, but there are cafes and bakeries nearby that open early, so you can enjoy a cheaper and more pleasant breakfast there.

The room was great, and the hotel isn't far from the train station, making transportation really convenient. This is super important when traveling with kids. The hotel environment is also quite good.

The reference photos don’t match the actual room. With communication with CS, finally got a better room. The facilities are a bit old with limited amenities such as no facial tissue and complimentary water only for 1st night.
