Barcelona Hostels

The service was very good. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic. They recommended tourist attractions and restaurants to me and cared about me as a traveler. They also had a pleasant chat with us. However, the room was very poor. There were about three rooms with 12 people sharing one bathroom and toilet. The quality of the roommates was average. The bed was very hard. There was a strange smell in the room. I didn't sleep well all night.

The location is great; you can walk to all the main tourist attractions. There are also two supermarkets nearby, which is really convenient for groceries. The breakfast spread is fantastic, more than satisfying. They always have water, coffee, tea, and snacks like croissants and pain au chocolat available. The women's-only rooms are secured with a key and come with their own toilet and shower, which is reassuring. It's also comforting to know there's always someone at reception. They securely stored my luggage in a locked area. They even provide padlocks for the lockers, which are spacious enough for a carry-on suitcase and a backpack. Just remember to bring your own hangers as none are provided. My only minor issue this time was that my roommate was coming and going late at night, and the bed made a creaking sound. However, this isn't a problem with the hostel itself, so I highly recommend this place to anyone who is okay with dormitory-style accommodation.

My mother and I stayed for two nights in a twin room. I had read some reviews beforehand, so my expectations weren't very high, but the room exceeded them! We arrived a bit early, but they kindly stored our luggage and notified us via WhatsApp when the room was ready. The room was thoroughly cleaned and spotless, with enough space to open four suitcases. The water dispenser was also a nice touch. I was a bit worried about noise since it's located in a bustling area, but it wasn't an issue at all. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was great that they could speak English. Just a heads-up about amenities: there's no conditioner, comb, or slippers, so I'd recommend bringing your own. The price was significantly cheaper than other hotels, and the location is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Barcelona.

TOC Hostel Barcelona offers an exceptionally modern and stylish stay, especially for those booking the 8-person dormitory. The layout of the 8-bed mixed dorm is brilliantly designed; the lockers and baggage area are separated from the actual beds, which significantly cuts down on late-night noise and disruptions from roommates packing. The property excels in both amenities and security, utilizing reliable card access for the rooms. Its location in Eixample is perfect—central, incredibly safe, and just a short walk from public transport and major sights. After a long day of exploring, the communal areas, complete with a pool table and an outdoor terrace pool, provide a fantastic, relaxed environment to unwind and meet fellow travelers. While the beds could benefit from curtains to add a bit more personal privacy, the overall cleanliness, friendly staff, and great value make it a top-tier choice for a Barcelona trip.

This was a truly wonderful place to stay! I accidentally left something behind at the hotel, but they were incredibly kind and helpful, keeping it safe for two days and even arranging for DHL pickup. They also offered laundry service for an additional fee (they mentioned having an 8kg washing machine). I do agree that there's room for improvement with the locks. However, the staff were lovely, and my roommates were all very kind and quiet. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance.

There is thief in this hostel! I almost lost my phone but luckily the police find it, it is hide somewhere else in the hostel, but there is no direct evidence to charge that suspect, all the hostel can do is to kick him out. Another Korean women are that lucky as the police couldn’t find her phone at last. The staff are really helpful when dealing with this issue and I really appreciate that. The staff did warn all guest to be careful for their own things and make sure to lock all of them in the locker the night before. The owner of the hostel also offer me help immediately during the whole process. Thank you again. About this hostel, the location is really convenient and with a fair price in the city centre. The kitchen is a bit small but it is acceptable. The shower room is okay for me and the shower room is clean in general. However, for the bed-set & towel you will have to pay 3 euro for it. Else, you can only sleep with a pillow with no bedsheet during your stay. If you pay card & the amount is less than 120 euro, they will charge extra 5% fee. So you better have some cash. Like all the other hostel, you should be aware of your own valuables and lock them up in the locker. Overall, I would recommend this hostel despite the sad incident happen on me.

We recently stayed in a 4-bunk room at this hostel for two nights. Overall, the experience was decent, though there were a few notable drawbacks. Pros:- The locker and bed facilities were excellent, spacious, secure, and more than adequate for four guests. The general service was acceptable, with staff being reasonably responsive and helpful. Cons:- The shower was a major issue. Despite adjusting the temperature lever, it often only produced hot water, which was uncomfortable and frustrating. The air conditioning was inconsistent and, at times, ineffective. In a humid climate, this made the room feel unbearably hot. Unfortunately, opening the window isn’t an option, as it’s linked to the air conditioning system and automatically shuts off when the window is opened. Summary:- While the sleeping arrangements and security features were commendable, the poor shower and unreliable air conditioning significantly impacted our comfort. These are essential amenities, especially in a humid environment, and I hope the hostel addresses them soon.

I love this place; the room is so comfy, they have such a homey vibes and so comforting, after spending time in Barcelona Stadium and Sagrada Familia, I took metro to go to this place which I found it so easy to reach by the metro .Definitely recommend this place for everyone who wants to have a good experience in Barcelona.

The lady on the reception was so rude. She tried to cancel my booking and if I didn’t spoke up she would. Beside this location is great but I can’t say it was clean. Its near the station I added

It was a pleasant experience. Overall great location, all necessary amenities and friendly staff. 3€ to rent a towel was a bit extra. Nice outside area to hang out for a bit and a good crowd to hang out with.
