Barcelona Hostels

The service was very good. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic. They recommended tourist attractions and restaurants to me and cared about me as a traveler. They also had a pleasant chat with us. However, the room was very poor. There were about three rooms with 12 people sharing one bathroom and toilet. The quality of the roommates was average. The bed was very hard. There was a strange smell in the room. I didn't sleep well all night.

My mother and I stayed for two nights in a twin room. I had read some reviews beforehand, so my expectations weren't very high, but the room exceeded them! We arrived a bit early, but they kindly stored our luggage and notified us via WhatsApp when the room was ready. The room was thoroughly cleaned and spotless, with enough space to open four suitcases. The water dispenser was also a nice touch. I was a bit worried about noise since it's located in a bustling area, but it wasn't an issue at all. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was great that they could speak English. Just a heads-up about amenities: there's no conditioner, comb, or slippers, so I'd recommend bringing your own. The price was significantly cheaper than other hotels, and the location is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Barcelona.

It's not right in front of the station, but it took about 10-13 minutes to walk from the closest one. It felt more like a local neighborhood than a tourist spot, and I never felt unsafe even when walking around late at night. The staff were okay, not overly friendly but perfectly normal. There was a lounge or common area on the first floor, and a small kitchen space. The room itself was quite spacious, but you need to bring your own towels. I was a bit disappointed that there were no curtains for the beds. There was one power outlet inside the bed area, and the bed itself was comfortable. I tend to be picky about bed conditions, and this one was good. The locker locations varied depending on the bed; mine was under the bed, while some beds had standard upright lockers. I actually preferred having the shared bathroom outside the room. Based on my experience staying at other hostels, I think outside bathrooms are better than en-suite ones. In an 8-person room, if there's only one bathroom inside, you either have to wait, or all sounds are audible when someone uses the toilet, which doesn't feel very private. So, I don't think having a bathroom inside the room is always a good thing. The cleanliness was quite good, and having a card key for room access was convenient. The city tax was an extra 6.6 euros per day, payable on-site. Overall, I would definitely consider staying at this hostel again.

The room is spacious and even have a desk and mirror (this is convenient for girls getting ready). It is quite clean and the bed is comfy too. The bathroom is separated with the toilet so it is better. The location is not bad as you can walk to most of the attractions and it feels safe too

There is thief in this hostel! I almost lost my phone but luckily the police find it, it is hide somewhere else in the hostel, but there is no direct evidence to charge that suspect, all the hostel can do is to kick him out. Another Korean women are that lucky as the police couldn’t find her phone at last. The staff are really helpful when dealing with this issue and I really appreciate that. The staff did warn all guest to be careful for their own things and make sure to lock all of them in the locker the night before. The owner of the hostel also offer me help immediately during the whole process. Thank you again. About this hostel, the location is really convenient and with a fair price in the city centre. The kitchen is a bit small but it is acceptable. The shower room is okay for me and the shower room is clean in general. However, for the bed-set & towel you will have to pay 3 euro for it. Else, you can only sleep with a pillow with no bedsheet during your stay. If you pay card & the amount is less than 120 euro, they will charge extra 5% fee. So you better have some cash. Like all the other hostel, you should be aware of your own valuables and lock them up in the locker. Overall, I would recommend this hostel despite the sad incident happen on me.

The staff were great, and most importantly, the kitchen was really spacious, which was a huge plus. It's also very clean, but just a heads up that it's a bit far from the city center.

Incredible and very clean, with extremely welcoming staff, a bar, a space to watch matches, a DJ, and above all, a superb location right in the center of Barcelona. The hotel feels lively, and you might even catch a glimpse of the Sagrada Familia from some rooms.

We recently stayed in a 4-bunk room at this hostel for two nights. Overall, the experience was decent, though there were a few notable drawbacks. Pros:- The locker and bed facilities were excellent, spacious, secure, and more than adequate for four guests. The general service was acceptable, with staff being reasonably responsive and helpful. Cons:- The shower was a major issue. Despite adjusting the temperature lever, it often only produced hot water, which was uncomfortable and frustrating. The air conditioning was inconsistent and, at times, ineffective. In a humid climate, this made the room feel unbearably hot. Unfortunately, opening the window isn’t an option, as it’s linked to the air conditioning system and automatically shuts off when the window is opened. Summary:- While the sleeping arrangements and security features were commendable, the poor shower and unreliable air conditioning significantly impacted our comfort. These are essential amenities, especially in a humid environment, and I hope the hostel addresses them soon.

The lady on the reception was so rude. She tried to cancel my booking and if I didn’t spoke up she would. Beside this location is great but I can’t say it was clean. Its near the station I added
