2-Star Hotels in Barcelona

This was an unplanned, last-minute trip to Barcelona; I booked the flight just over three hours before departure. Hotels in Barcelona aren't cheap, and after walking all day, I really just needed a place to crash. It felt like a waste for one person, but it was my first time staying in a hostel. The environment, cleanliness, and location were all pretty good. The people were from all over – a Filipino-American, a Korean pastry chef who broke her arm and had to rest for six months, and exchange students from China. It was a memorable experience. The hostel is about a fifteen-minute walk from the airport bus stop. The entrance is tiny, and you have to ring the doorbell. Not far across the street, there's a good Chinese hotpot buffet, I think for 29 Euros. The sunset at Bunkers del Carmel and the sunrise at the beach are both worth seeing. Don't forget to try the churros with chocolate!

The service was very good. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic. They recommended tourist attractions and restaurants to me and cared about me as a traveler. They also had a pleasant chat with us. However, the room was very poor. There were about three rooms with 12 people sharing one bathroom and toilet. The quality of the roommates was average. The bed was very hard. There was a strange smell in the room. I didn't sleep well all night.

This hotel is really great, and the location is absolutely superb. You can walk to all the attractions, so there's no need for public transportation. As a hostel, it also feels very safe. The breakfast at 12 euros in the evening and 7 euros in the morning were both good. The front desk staff were also very nice. My only complaint is that the USB charging port was broken. I actually thought my own plug was faulty and went out to buy a new one, only to find out later it was the hotel's. I would definitely stay here again next time.

The hostel is clean and tidy even the bathroom although it's the sharing one but superb. The staff is super friendly and they are great in English so don't worry about it. And yet they had free stuff that was put on the receptionist. But if you want to travel to the centre of Barcelona, this hostel is pretty far from it. But so far it's awesome experience

The room was very clean and the air conditioning was nice and cold. However, the shower gel ran out the day we arrived. The location is excellent, convenient for getting anywhere. Watching the World Cup downstairs was a great experience. My only complaints are that the locker for luggage storage was quite expensive, and check-in started half an hour late.

Hostal Levante is a very comfortable and well-located place to stay in the heart of Barcelona. One of its biggest advantages is its excellent location. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, providing everything needed for a good rest after a long day of exploring the city. The beds are cozy, the rooms are quiet, and the overall atmosphere is calm, which helps guests feel relaxed and at home. The air conditioning works well, which is especially important during warmer days in Barcelona. The staff at Hostal Levante are friendly, polite, and helpful. They are always ready to assist with any questions, provide useful information about the city, and help make the stay more enjoyable. Their positive attitude adds a lot to the overall experience. Another great point is the cleanliness of the hotel. Common areas and rooms are kept very clean, which gives a sense of care and professionalism. The building itself has a charming, traditional feel while still offering modern comfort. Overall, Hostal Levante is an excellent choice for travelers who are looking for a comfortable, clean, and conveniently located place to stay in Barcelona. It offers great value for money, a central location, and a relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona, whether for a short city break or a longer stay.

The location is really good. Wherever you go, you can walk to 10-15 and there is an elevator, so it's easy to enter even if you have luggage. The person who checked in was friendly and the room was quite spacious and the view was good. The downside was that if you were unlucky, hot water would not come out when you wash it, but if you were not washing too late, it would be okay if hot water came out.

The lady on the reception was so rude. She tried to cancel my booking and if I didn’t spoke up she would. Beside this location is great but I can’t say it was clean. Its near the station I added

This hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to Sagrada Familia and the metro station. Although I didn't try the hotel breakfast, there's a cheap and delicious breakfast spot just a two-minute walk away that opens at 7 AM. The front desk staff were all very friendly, and check-in was a breeze. The downside is that the rooms are generally a bit old and small, and the walls are not well soundproofed. In my room, there was only a duvet cover and no duvet, which the front desk said they couldn't provide, so it was a bit cold at night. There were also no mouthwash cups in the room.

Excellent séjour, Le personnel est extrêmement bienveillant, aimable et toujours prêt à aider. Leur professionnalisme a rendu notre séjour très agréable. L'hôtel est très confortable, propre et idéalement situé, à proximité de toutes les principales attractions et des transports. Je le recommande sans hésitation et j'y reviendrai avec plaisir
