Barcelona Ciutat Vella Hotels

Ohla Barcelona is a really marvelous place to stay. It is located in the heart of the downtown area near the Ramblas and Cataluñia square. There is also a metro station near by. Our room was very spacious and well decorated. The window was a bit small but it was soundproof. The shower had a strong flow and they had plenty of towels. The breakfast buffet had the basics. It was ok. The facilities were convenient but the pool was a bit small. The pool hours were limited to 7 pm due to the use of the space by the bar.

The hotel has a fantastic location, with many restaurants nearby. Both the reception staff and housekeeping were very friendly and welcoming. They made my trip even more enjoyable and warm. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

The lift is a bit small, although there are two, usually need to wait for 2nd one. The curtain does not fully cover the light outside, but after 12 the outside light turns dimmer. We stay at 6th floor, the roof bar is on 7th. During weekend, it was a bit noise before 00:00. The location is good, is walkable to many attractions and also close to metro.

We were assigned a semi-basement room, but it had good lighting and the facilities in the room were good. However, the soundproofing was poor and the guests next door were very noisy. The breakfast was okay.

During a trip to Europe with a mother in her 50s and her daughter in her 20s, we stayed here for all 5 nights in Barcelona, ​​Spain. It is located in the center of Las Ramblas between Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlló/Milla, so you can go anywhere in just 30 minutes. Mansion Güell was right behind the accommodation! The subway station, taxis, and buses were all available right around the corner. Reiel Square is right in front, so it was nice to sit at the fountain and watch the night view whenever I had time. I brought a shower filter and it works well! I took the Puresome Pro shower head ◡̈ Although the color changed a little, the water quality was quite good even after using it for 5 days. They also gave me two room keys, so I put one in my room and walked around, and when I got back to the accommodation, the air conditioner was on and it was really nice. I put a mattress mite sheet on the bed, but there were no bed bugs and it was fluffy and clean. And when I went to the airport early in the morning on the last day, I pre-booked a taxi at reception and contacted the driver, so it was convenient! I've never met an Asian person before, but I'm even more in love with this accommodation because I searched hard and found it. I highly recommend it❤️

Hotel Nouvel is absolutely gorgeous from the out- and inside entrance area, elevator, reception, stairs ... Unfortunately, we had a room that had a window only going to an inner quad that was tiny and dark, so even though the weather was beautiful whilst our stay, in the morning it was difficult to believe there was sunshine out there (we tried to change the room, but it was not possible, because the hotel was fully booked)... Except for that (and we didn't spend a lot of time inside) the hotel was nice and clean with friendly staff, and at a perfect spot for adventures in Barcelona!

A great base for one night in the city. It's got lots of bars and restaurants nearby. It's clean and comfortable and I had the bonus of having a terrace too!

The taste is very big, the street is a bit noisy, and the room is hard to put the suitcase. The bedding linen is a bit hard.
