Great location just a few steps away from La Rablas and Liceu metro station which can connect you to almost anywhere you need to go in Barcelona. Downside to this is that it can be quite loud during the night which could be an issue with light sleepers. All the receptionists we spoke to were very friendly and spoke good English. The rooms were tidied every day too.

Location was excellent…walking distance to beach, restaurants and Metro. Room was very clean albeit a little small. .. beds comfortable.Great breakfast included with plenty of choices. Staff were friendly and attentive.Free wifi ... Air conditioning and lift. Definitely seems more than 2 star … price very reasonable . Highly recommended for a great short stay in Central Barcelona.

I've stayed with this hotel for a number of times now, I would think about 7 times also before covid. The company I work for has also sent quite a few others to this hotel over the years. After this last visit I can say that it will probably not be the case anymore. To be honest, I felt like I was annoying the staff at the reception, it was always with a quick, condescending way that I was given answers. Like I was getting on their nerves. I paid almost 1.100 Euro to stay 1 week. In that time, the phone was broke, my door would not shut properly without slamming it, the room STANK !!! of sewage (I was told because of the pool filter or something and I was directly next to the pool basically in room 721 - the cleaning lady spoke no english so that's the info I understood), the breakfast was not to great standards; never was there bacon, the boiled eggs cold. The coffee machine broke, so the waitress was so angry that she was slamming chairs and saying angry stuff in spanish loudly about how management never takes care of the machine; she dropped all kinds of glasses and plates in the kitchen; then the cook came out and looked at me and rolled his eyes and shrugged (how do people in service actually work like this???) . It was unrelaxing and not worth the price at all. The only helpful and sincere person I met there was the girl at the reception who always asked how my day was, and also the room cleaning lady (the elder one with glasses). I was not even offered ANYTHING in response to having to sleep in a stinking room with no phone. I thought maybe someone would say to me ”sorry about all the inconvenience, have a wine on us” but not even that!! Only the next day I was asked if I wanted to move (I declined only because I was traveling to Valencia for 3 days on that day and I was told that afterwards it would be fixed so I didn't want to move if it would be fixed. But when I came back, only the phone was fixed - the smell was still there and the door I still had to slam). Also, my credit card was charged for a night on the first day of my stay, even tho my company pre-paid the whole stay in advance and it was confirmed. I had to wait several days before it was booked back to my account. At the checkout I was not asked once how my stay was. I would have otherwise told the guy there directly. But maybe he knew I would say something and chose not to ask anything. He was the most condescending of them all anyway. He never freely said Hello or Good bye. Only interested in himself. Horrible person and not sure how he can work in service! When he reads this he will know who I am, for sure. I did not have a welcoming or pleasant stay there this time and next time I and my company will choose another hotel for this or any other stays. If you feel too secure and think you have enough guests, then think again. Covid isn't gone and one day you will be surprised how quickly guests can leave and go somewhere else. Stayed at this hotel September 2022. Me and my boyfriend have just come back from Barcelona and I can happily say we would return to this hotel again. Not only was this hotel a great price for 5 days but it also surpassed our expectations. When we arrived at this hotel we were greeted by some very friendly faces who were happy to help despite it being almost midnight- they also speak excellent english. Check in was very quick and easy and when we saw the room we were also satisfied. The room was very clean, no signs of wear and tear, and the same for the bathroom- very clean, no signs of mould, insects, stains etc. The towels that they provided were also very soft! The cleaner did an excellent job on our room everyday, admittedly we are a bit messy so we were very grateful for this. The hotel overall is very clean and modern looking , and on top of this they provide free coffee and water all day everyday. The pool is a bit small and the tiles on the floor outside the pool are a bit shaky/loose so be careful when you are walking about but nothing too devastating- we enjoyed a good splash and a sunbathe never the less. No breakfast is provided but we knew this going into the hotel- I am vegan so this probably wouldn’t have helped me anyway. The location of the hotel is also perfect- near the city centre, right near the metro, good restaurants, easy 20 min walk to beach and aquarium. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again. The only thing I would say is that they should provide hand soap in the bathrooms but this is not a big deal at all. The location is especially convenient. There are cars everywhere. Going out is the subway. Service is also good. That is the mattress is too uncomfortable. There is a sound in turning over. The pillows are not good either. needs to be improved

Hidden away in a side street in The Gothic area of Barcelona. My partner booked this place for my birthday, so I had no prior expectation of either the hotel or Barcelona. I was a tad apprehensive as the taxi pulled up outside, but very pleasantly surprised with the really nice interior of the hotel. Very nice reception area and fresh decor greeted us. Nicely decorated inside and we were in the second floor becoming onto an inner enclosed quadrant. Not the best of views, but we didn't come for a view from the window. The room itself was clean nice, a small double, but a massive bed. Ensuite bathroom with shower, again, nice and clean with toiletries supplied. Nice friendly staff. A little noisy at night as I think our room overlooked the staff area. Or body neighbours perhaps. But all in all, a really nice hotel close to everything. A great time to come to Barcelona. Warm sunshine in the high teens and not crowded at all. Had some great walks around the lanes and sights to be seen.

My family and I have had a great time here and hope to come back. There is a pool on the roof!! Although, they do not serve lunch or dinner they do serve amazing packed - full breakfast in the morning! They have a vending machine and two televisions in the lounge area were you can watch some sport. They have 5 floors and a lift. The staff here are amazing and kind and the clearners give you everythig you need and more. You have a safe were you can put any special items in whilst you are out enjoying spending some time in Barcelona city. Plus, all the staff speak different languages.

Pros: Perfect location in central barcelona Relatively safe Staff were friendly Lobby is spacious and cozy Cons: No appliances in the room You get charged for tea and coffee (except in breakfast) Breakfast was not good with limited variety Didn’t spend much time in the hotel but its more of a budget hotel with limited services however i would still recommend it because of its perfect location where it is centralised around alot of Barcelona attractions

It is close to Metro Line 2 and Line 3 and the transportation is very convenient. There are many buses on the main road at the door. The hotel room was disappointing, the overall was dirty and small, and the windows on the 4th floor where I was facing away from the road still had no sunlight. Without dental appliances, slippers seem to be local practice, and shampoos are difficult to use. The breakfast time is very long and the variety is quite abundant. The front desk staff is not bad either. The sauna and jacuzzi below can be arranged, you can go to see if you want to try.

A hotel that I especially like, the absolute advantage of the location, the sanitary conditions, the bed is big enough, just on the Rambla. I am very fortunate to live in this house, if I knew that I would live in this house for several days. 👍👍👍👍👍If there is another time I will definitely stay at this home, I will also recommend friends to live, awesome.
