The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa Hotels near The Royal Crescent
The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa Hotels near The Royal CrescentThe Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa Hotels near The Royal Crescent
Bath City Center | 0.11km from The Royal Crescent
Situated in Bath's Royal Crescent, this magnificent hotel offers a fully equipped gym and a stunning spa, leading out onto a picturesque landscaped garden. It also offers an award-winning restaurant and a cocktail bar. The Bath House spa offers a relaxation pool, an additional relaxation pool with massage jets, a sauna with salt therapy treatments, and a steam room. Each bedroom at The Royal Crescent has an 18th-century-style décor and luxury bedding. There is free WiFi and paintings from period artists such as Gainsborough. Along with the Montagu's Mews restaurant, The Montagu's Mews Bar serves all-day dining options, cocktails, and champagne. The beautiful gardens are ideal for a traditional afternoon tea. The Bath House Spa is within an original coach house and stables. First occupied in 1775, the buildings are a 15-minute walk from the city-centre, Pump Room Baths, and the Theatre Royal. Bath Spa Rail Station is just 1.6 km away. We strongly recommend booking any dining in advance to avoid disappointment. Spa treatment also need to be booked in advance.

Its meant to be a luxury-ish short weekend getaways before my job starts as my partner can't take a long leave. The delux double room is a huge disappointmemt.Understably, it is a very premium location and other guest probably pay a lot more. However, I wouldn't think of paying over £300 to get a room feeling like a old day servant's room. Being placed at the roof extension room with the view mostly blocked, the floor makes the typical old wooden cracking noise as we walk. The curtain, carpet and bathroom are not in the best condition. The glass on top of the table and desk are not well fitted. Another thing is that, without any previous notice, the spa closed foe maintenance the morning we leave. The fake plants make it look less luxury than its branded. The plus side, it is kind of inclusive which the spa pool, gym and breakfast are included. The breakfast is quite nice if you like English breakfast or they have some basic buffet.

This is a beautiful Victorian building on the outskirts of Bath. It has been modernised with very careful thought to the original, beautiful architecture, making it a lovely but comfortable place to stay. I love that the bathroom was 'old style' but still had all the modern necessities. On entering, we were greeted by a lovely receptionist, who was delighted to share details of the area and best way to walk into the town. This we did - twice the same day. It is a bit of an uphill march to get back to the hotel, but we did it in about 20 minutes. We had gone to Bath to enjoy the town, see a play at The Royal Theatre and enjoy food and a drink. Being close enough to the town to walk, meant we did not need the car from arrival to departure, so left it in the Car Park at the hotel. The room was comfortable and the breakfast lovely, and they catered for our requirements for gluten free without problem. Overall, if I went back to Bath, I would certainly stay here again.

We enjoy our stay in Apex very much. We received a warm welcome from Tony at the front desk. He was being very friendly the whole time and even recommended us places to visit in Bath. The room was exactly how we expected. The swimming pool and spa facilities were spectacular. Tony suggested us to reserve the time slot that was least busy so that we could enjoy the best of them.

Service is not worth as it cost. I paid for more than eleven thousand Baht. But I have to pay 15£ for 24 hr. parking. Which i understanded that I could bring my car in and out as many times as I could since I agreed to pay for 24 hr. But it was not. Every time I brough my car out from the parking lot I had to pay for it.

Review: Hilton Nath I recently stayed at the Hilton Nath and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The hotel’s decor is modern yet cozy, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as complimentary bottled water and a variety of toiletries. One of the highlights was the hotel restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of delicious options, from fresh fruit to made-to-order omelets. The dinner menu was equally impressive, with a selection of dishes that catered to various dietary preferences. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. The hotel's location is ideal, situated close to key attractions and public transport, making

Steeped in history, Bath’s Henrietta House originates from the 1780s when a ‘new town’ area of Bath was built south of the river Avon. The architect of Henrietta House and the street was Thomas Baldwin who worked with Sir William Pulteney to divide up what had been river meadows.Today, Henrietta House offers a centrally located, tranquil setting with accommodation in 21 unique rooms.13;10;Bath was one of the most exclusive and glamorous cities in the entire world in the 1700s. Home to celebrated names such as Thomas Gainsborough (painter), Admiral Phillip (founder of Australia), and William Herschel (discoverer of Uranus), Bath was a spa town and retreat for the wealthy. A place where the upper echelons of British society could decamp from their country estates and London town-houses to meet, revel and make new connections over the summer months. The city was filled with the bustle of servants, the clatter of hooves and the chatter of the upper classes, gossiping over tea or duelling at the card table.13;10;Bath’s pre-eminence as ‘the place to be seen’ began to decline in the late 1700s. Whilst seaside resorts such as Brighton became the new fashionable hotspots for the privileged, Bath’s allure as a place of culture, healing and relaxation never disappeared entirely. Over two nights during the Second World War, Bath suffered heavy bombing, destroying much of the city close to the river. The scars of this trauma are evident in the entanglement of old and new buildings scattered across the city today.13;10;Bath is now as popular as ever. It is home to a large student population, drawn by the city’s two esteemed universities. Travellers flock to the city to admire the architecture and peruse the Roman Baths – the grandest amp; best preserved example in northern Europe. Meanwhile, the residents proudly inhabit a UNESCO world heritage city (courtesy of Bath’s Georgian architecture), and its streets are regularly employed as sets for film and TV, starring in films such as ‘The Duchess’, ‘Vanity Fair’ and ‘Sense...

GGuest UserI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic! The host was so helpful and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!) Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too. Thank you very much!

SSkyshanghaiSumptuous would be the word to describe this hotel. From the lobby to the room to the free snacks pantry, everything is sumptuous. The room we booked is absolutely huge with high ceilings and large windows. The bed and bedding is super super comfortable and we slept really well. The bathroom is nice with a big tub. Location is also excellent, minutes from downtown, the bridge and Roman baths. Looking forward to staying here again.

GGuest UserCentral location helps to overcome the cramped feeling staying in the annexe. The car was parked at the other end of town and drop off was difficult to say the least but it is what it is. I had no reason whatsoever to check out the main building reception, breakfast area perhaps a bar and lounge area too because nothing pointed me there! So generally, it was a room in a loft space built to an ”average” measure. I never like shower cubicles where I tend to bang elbows and worry about breaking something when I drop the soap. Breakfast price was horrendous so no inclination to walk in on the hop to check it out for the 2 nights stayed. I felt detached, cramped and in a bed-sit like accommodation. It is what it is.

ZZhanqianyingSmall luxury hotel I feel relieved to see that it is SLH, but it is unusually understaffed. From check-in to dining in the restaurant, you have to wait, wait, wait. If you don’t understand English, please don’t come. Most of the employees look like college students who work part-time and cannot solve the problem alone. question. The restaurant and bar are good, the room is very big, you need to take the stairs to the first floor, and the bathroom is half a floor up. The swimming pool is small and there are many people. There is a sauna, but it was useless because the temperature was 30 degrees on the day of arrival. Charging the tram is also very funny. It took a long time to fully charge it.

AAgouzichituThere is no elevator, so it is a bit painful to live on a high floor. Fortunately, the front desk is quite friendly and can help move things. We were upgraded to a larger room. MmomononoBath Abbey Hotel, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Property I booked this hotel in Bath through trip.com. I took advantage of two promotions on the platform: a £5.99 railcard purchase and £5 off train tickets, both requiring booking a European hotel within 26 days through trip.com. Considering that the official website’s prices were quite similar, I went with the trip.com booking. I reserved a cozy room for 1 adult without breakfast for £113. Money-saving tip: I used TopCashback to access trip.com, earning $7.67 cashback for this booking. After I checked out, trip.com triggered an immediate discount of £10.46, which I applied to my next train ticket purchase. ❤️ Third-party Marriott members get perks, too! This hotel falls under the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, embracing a boutique hotel approach. The entire establishment dates back to 1739, boasting a historic exterior. It’s conveniently situated just about 3 minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths and across from Sally Lunn’s. With my Marriott Platinum Card, even with a third-party reservation, the hotel upgraded us to a larger ground floor room facing the street after matching our account, but it’s not advisable due to potential noise. They also offered complimentary à la carte breakfast. Breakfast slots had to be reserved during check-in, and we chose a table at 10 AM. The breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant had a charming and lovely atmosphere. The experience was excellent (the best things are free!). Unfortunately, I don’t have space for more photos, but I’ll post one of the restaurant later. The room was quite small, designed in a modern British style, with a movie-themed decor according to the posters on the wall. All the amenities were provided, with local brand toiletries available for purchase at the front desk for £25 for two bottles. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary to consider bringing back home. The minibar had coffee, various teas, semi-skimmed milk packets, and biscuits. The bottled still water was in an aesthetically pleasing canned form. 🌟 There’s an Elemis sleep kit on the bedside: temple balm/sleep mist/eye cream, placed over a hotel postcard, looking quite exquisite. The bed was very comfortable. ❌ However, there were a few drawbacks to this place… a bit unnerving… I’m not sure if I just had bad luck. The hotel corridors were somewhat confusing, and I accidentally opened the wrong room door once using my own room card. Strangely, the next day around ten o’clock, while I was in the bathroom and my son was on the bed, despite securing the latch on our door, someone managed to open it slightly, presumably seeing my son on the bed, and then closed the door. Perhaps it was a housekeeping staff member wanting to clean the room? Regardless, it felt quite odd… a little unsettling, to be honest

GGuest UserPositives - excellent receptionist (Vipin) and without his help I would have probably checked out early. Has parking. Reasonable location and access into central Bath. Has an electric kettle and a pack of cookies. Not so positives - In desperate need of upgrade, creaking floors, wash basin outside the bathroom. It isn’t for work related travellers as you cannot even use an iron without tripping off the entire building main switch and once that happen there is no 24 hour active reception. No fan or iron provided in room so you have to ask. Tiny computer monitor used as a make shift TV that you have to pull out of a closet. No drinking water in room. Value for money not there as many better locations available at same or lower price.
