In the room, there were fresh flowers and branches, hand cream and soap in glass bottles, wine glasses and a corkscrew, and a minibar. It’s just a two-minute walk to the beach, practically on the first line. The staff are always friendly and ready to help — everyone smiles and greets guests, and you truly feel like a valued guest, surrounded by care. We had both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, and everything was perfect — fresh food, clean, and delicious. Thank you so much for the hospitality, and please keep your unique atmosphere that makes us want to come back. We stayed in August and everything was wonderful — we swam and enjoyed the sun! PPedroExcelent resort. The resort is offering breathtaking views, pristine private beaches, and an atmosphere of pure tranquility. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our villa was luxurious, spacious, and impeccably clean The food was exceptional across all the restaurants. We particularly loved the seafood at the Sirena Restaurant. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve experienced, with a wide variety of international and local options. Shangri-La Boracay is the perfect destination for a relaxing escape.

Services & Room Amenities - The services provided are functional but not luxurious. - Room amenities and overall hotel facilities are good but not exceptional. Overall Verdict Despite not living up to its 5‑star branding, the Henann Garden Resort offers very good value for money. Kk_fr_23We stayed in Movenpick for one whole week following the recommendation from a friend who stayed there twice already when she traveled to Boracay, and on the whole, we didn’t regret this choice either. We’ll share some positive things first, then negative. It was our first time to visit the island, and we knew that the White Beach area is always crowded, full of beggars and people offering you to go sailing or try out massage at their salon literally every five steps which is quite annoying. On the contrary, Movenpick is a quiet and secluded place where you can enjoy your vacations at the fullest. The prices in the resort restaurants are almost the same as in the White Beach cafes, maybe a little higher, but the food is way more delicious (we especially loved the dishes in Brezza). We didn’t expect it to be so good after reading some negative reviews on Ctrip, so it was a nice surprise. The breakfast was also amazing, with a variety of options and outstanding service (and they do have black coffee, so don’t trust those who mention that there is no coffee at the breakfast buffet). But what impressed us most was a very warm and friendly attitude of all staff to every single guest. They always approached us with a big smile, and after several days of staying, they could even remember our cocktail preferences at daily Happy Hour! Nice little sweet treats at Chocolate hour, live music from 6pm daily, plenty of space and activities offered at the resort - we loved it a lot. However, there are some tiny things you must know before booking. Half of the swimming pool might be closed for maintenance, which is totally understandable yet isn’t what you expect when choosing this hotel (neither it is convenient nor pleasant to see). Although the rooms are comfortable and clean, you can see they haven’t been renovated for a while (AC/fridge are quite noisy, some things like shower gel dispenser might get broken easily - but they can be replaced at once if you inform the hotel). Last, if you are unlucky with neighbours (especially if there’s a family with an infant in the room one floor above yours), then you might enjoy terrible noise all the day as the rooms are not soundproof. We couldn’t sleep for 2 nights, and only on the 3rd night we were offered a bigger room for sleeping overnight (but the AC was loud there, not to mention some weird sounds outside in the middle of the night - could be an electricity generator or something else - that woke us up and we had to move back to our main room with the hope that our neighbours were fast asleep). In a word, it is recommended to bring some earplugs and not hesitate to inform the receptionists about any problem you have at once and ask for an immediate solution. Generally speaking, if we ever decide to return to Boracay for vacations, it’s highly likely we will choose Movenpick for the whole stay time again.

NNiculetsWe booked at fairways days before our wedding Jan. 14, 2026. I was just scrolling through this app and found this hotel while searching for boracay. At first I was a bit skeptical since the price was too good to be true for the amenities it comes with. Since, it was my husband and it's 1st domestic trip I had to double check everything. It was also my 1st time in boracay & my husband's 4th time. Booking wasn't hard for me since trip was the cheapest offer compared to other booking apps. We booked for Jan. 16, 2026 and I called the property to let them know that we'll be having our honeymoon & requested a room with a good view. I'd rate their call service a 7/10 during the day and a 9/10 during at night. Their hotlines are open 24/7. TIPS for travelers who wants to stay in Fairways: 1. They offer a private airport round-trip transfer for 2,000/person. You just have to call the hotel the day after you book or at least 3 days before your trip. 2. The location of the hotel is kind of far but it's reasonable. You may want to consider the e-trike rates as well. They also have their own shuttle (please check the pictures attached for refernce). But if you want to stay late and miss the shuttle hours, As for our experience we got charged roughly 100-150 from Dmall to fairways & vise versa via etrike and that's just me and my husband riding. 3. They have their own Pool foam party (see attached pictures). We personally didn't get to experience this that much since when we got there it was full of kids and I wasnt really feeling the vibe hahah. 3. Always remember that there will be a charge for any stain in towel & sheets. They're strict about that. Overall rating it's a 8.5/10. If you're looking for a resort that literally has it all + they have their own private beach that's a literal walking distance from the key hole attraction + budget friendly, then this is for you. We enjoyed our stay here so much. Our first room (new building) had aircon issues and leaked. We got transfered to Monterey immediately. I still preferred the monterey buildings room. The aircon was cold just how I like it. Their food is good a 8/10 but ofc it's pricey. Overall service was a 7/10, they were kind of slow but can be improved on!. Staffs were so polite, nice, and helpful!. I even became friends with the 2 shuttle drivers 🩷 Will definitely come back and try their romantic dinner by the beach!.
