BBunengshuodejiuhenjiubieThe room isn't huge, but it has a balcony, which was really nice and relaxing. Being on an island, it's all about chilling out. Since it was high season, the occupancy rate was quite high. There were very few Chinese guests, mostly Europeans and Americans. The dining options were good too; there were a few restaurants we could rotate between. The hotel offers free car and boat transfers, and for just the two of us, they provided a private car. Both the car and boat were in excellent condition. I've been to The Racha in Phuket before, and their boat was quite rundown, plus they charged a fee. However, The Racha is great for surfing. The sea here is very calm, perfect for watching the sunset and walking along the beach. If I had to choose, I'd definitely come back here. There's also another hotel on the island, run by a French couple, with a similar price point. Next time I'm in Krabi, I'd like to check that one out.

The facilities need to be improved. There is no hair dryer and hot water bottle. It has to be given. It feels too strange. Is there still no hair dryer for washing my hair? Why bother? The deposit of 1000 is also strange. I stayed in 6 hotels throughout the whole process, the only hotel that received a deposit.
It may be the peak season relationship, Trip.com reservation, 8 Chairman Mao for one night, expensive, does not match the facilities, I feel that 4, 5 are OK.

The lady at reception was so sweet and helpful, the room & pool were lovely, and I personally loved exploring the abandoned areas of the hotel (tip - if you go through the *slightly creepy* derelict area you get the most beautiful private beach to yourself!!). It's more like a serviced apartment than a hotel so manage your expectations, but that was perfect for me

Ffree&easy&chillFront desk not very welcoming when check in. Did the job checking in and explaining the deposit, room, breakfast restaurant, beach location.
Issued us the room key and informed us the room direction, then we realised the check in is completed and we can be on the way to the room (1st time without hotel staff of this type/size of resort bringing us, not a big deal).
Strangely one staff did ”pop up” after we left the reception building, offer to bring us to the room. We rejected since we figured we can manage.
One good point is we get to check in earlier than the designated time.
Room has unpleasant smell when first enter, but got use to it after a day (after house keeping next day).
Room size is big, has a bath tub (did not use), a bed room and living room. No TV in bed room, TV in living room but limited TV program.
Have two huge pool, one among the blocks, one nearer to the beach.
Initial impression was not great, but after a few days, got used and get to enjoy the stay.
Good location (good local restaurants, convenient store, laundry shop nearby), great pool, breakfast consider ok but could be better.
Stayed during the end of the popular season, resort not crowded.
Will I stay again?
Yes, for the pool and during low season, less tourists.
No, will try out other resorts along the same stretch of the beach.

DDoctor_WhoThe hotel is located about 14 km from the northern pier in the south on the west coast of Lanta.
A very nice complex with very friendly staff.
We received a warm welcome.
The rooms are very clean and are cleaned daily, and towels are changed. There are also beach towels available.
Water is refilled daily.
The air conditioning is draft-free, and nothing else is missing in the room.
There are loungers by the pool and on the beach. Breakfast is very plentiful and offers a great view.
There's something for everyone.
If you wish, an omelet or something similar with eggs can be freshly prepared for you.
There are also beautiful bungalows with pools and sea views.
Scooter rentals, island tours - everything can be arranged at normal prices. Alex is friendly and helpful.
If you want to go to a 7-Eleven, you have to walk about 20 minutes. There are restaurants a few minutes away if you don't want to eat at the hotel.
On our departure day, we had to leave at 7 a.m., and they prepared a huge breakfast package for us (4 boxes for 2 people) and labeled it very nicely.
We would come back anytime.

I had such a lovely stay here. The atmosphere is very calm and natural, perfect for relaxing and escaping the busy city. I really loved how the resort is right by the beach. The sunset views were beautiful. The room felt private and cozy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s not super luxury, but the vibe is amazing. I’d definitely come back again 💛🌊

LLisaM23We stayed here in what was the peak season…many resorts and hotels were sold out in Ko Lanta. The staff are all friendly and genuinely will help and be kind if you are respectful and kind too.
The location is perfect. Right in front of the beach and close to cafes, restaurants and local eateries as well as 7/11.
The hotel itself has so much potential but it is looking very tired and run down. We stayed in a room that should have had a pool view but all we saw was trees. The room did smell a bit musty at first but this soon disappeared with the smell of sunscreen, and personal fragrances. Previous reviews people wrote about the old, musty towels. This is true. They smell musty, old and are tired looking (bring your own if you can).
The beach loungers in front of the pool were perfect each day but it’s a real hit and miss game of who can “bags” a lounger first. Many tourist staying at the hotel would place their towels on the loungers first thing in the morning and wouldn’t even be seen on the loungers until after lunch. In my opinion, the hotel staff need to change this and man it in a different way during peak season. Too many entitled people thinking they own the sun loungers because their shoes were placed next to them 🙄🙄
Overall, if you’re looking for somewhere to rest your head at night, with hot showers, friendly staff, okay breakfast options and mostly clean premises this resort is good. If your more of a person who prefers to spend time inside their resort and looks forward to all the extra amenities then I suggest you try somewhere else 😬

HHUAThe location of the hotel is very good, right on the beach. The handsome guy at the front desk is very enthusiastic. He booked a room connected to the pool. You can play in the pool by opening the balcony. The BBQ and dinner are very delicious in the evening. I ate dinner on the beach for several nights. ,very happy.
Both the elderly and children like it very much. It's a good time to watch the sunset, and the price-performance ratio is very high, which meets everyone's wishes.
