the restaurant is overpriced for the small amount of food in the unflavorful entrees they serve brought out by the rudest lady we have ever encountered believe justine was her name we have never been treated so badly before we will not be returning

We stayed at Lazy Bear Lodge and had dinner at The Inn at Cedar Falls and had a fabulous time! The cabin was immaculate, beautiful, and located in a lovely setting. The dinner was delicious and the service was spectacular. We will definitely return.

We came for lunch. This is a hidden gem in Hocking Hills. It was originally built in 1840 with many additions to follow. There are many small quaint dining rooms including outside. We had sandwiches and soup. The service was really good. A must stop.

I stopped here, as my husband was destined to get us to Hocking Hills and didn't want to turn back to the first gift shop on the route lol. So I begged him to stop here 🤣. Didn't want to chance the park not having one open for some reason. Parking is free across the street along a little circular driveway. I think the parking in the front is for delivery drivers and possibly for the Inn check-in. The entrance to the shop, that was open at the time of my visit, was on the back side of the building. This is a beautiful little shop that has all kinds of handmade gifts and fun souvenirs. They offer clothing, fridge magnets, stuffed animals, crystals, kids toys, ornaments, snacks, glass sculptures, candles and body lotions/soaps, yard decor and more. The cheapest I found was a little tiny Bigfoot for $4. The most expensive I saw was a stuffed animal for $35. But I'm sure there are things a bit more than that. And you're bound to find something you like and want to take home. Tons and tons of options and price points. They have some Hocking Hills-themed items but most are not. They do have a bathroom that's really nice and clean. Service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend stopping here if you want a fun and most likely handcrafted souvenir or gift.

In May 2023 I stayed at the "Firefly" at The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls for a one night (week day) getaway. The Yurt was clean, cute, comfortable, ceiling dome is so cool and even better in person. It's perfect for one person or two. The AC was on upon arriving. You're given a code for door access. The door also has a bolt lock. Sitting outside on the deck overlooking woods/brush was so peaceful while reading. You can see the other Yurts on either side of you, yet they're hidden within the woods. I took a radio, had Wi-Fi access, but there's no TV which was a nice change. Next time I'll take a Laptop or iPad. I could hear the couple to the left of me when they were outside. Not sure if their voices echoed or they were hard of hearing. Check in was easy and the employees were pleasant and helpful. The Salmon & salad for dinner was excellent. The Inn & the Yurts are within walking distance of each other. It was a windy night and you could hear it against the Yurt rafters as the Yurt is surrounded by woods. The king size bed was comfortable except the 2 large pillows that were very firm. Breakfast comes with your stay however if ordering eggs, there's a charge. The restaurant could use better lighting. It was dark in the morning and even with one light "out" I don't think it would make a difference to turn it on. Cedar Falls is beautiful and weather was good for a hike but not crowded. I think it's safer then Hocking Hills in terms of steps and hand railings. Overall it was a fun journey and next time I'll choose a different Yurt. A nice surprise awaits, find 2 Cheryl's Cookies. We booked a Geodome for one night. Checked in at 4 to find the inside temp was 82 and felt like a sauna, no air flow whatsoever. Called the check-in staff and explained how uncomfortable it was. Informed her the thermostat looked to be set at 65, perhaps the unit was broken? Our only goal was to be comfortable. She was curt and indifferent, refusing to answer when the air was originally turned on. She kept dodging our questions to the point we asked to speak to a manager but was sent a maintenance team member instead. Maintenance was friendly and attempted to appear sympathetic. He explained there were recent complaints of the Geodomes being too warm, and the gas stove needed swapped for a 2nd AC, but management wouldn’t allow it until later in the year. He said to keep the curtains closed and at sunset, it should cool off. Isn’t the point of the Geodome to have the curtains open and see nature? How do we relax and get ready for a nice dinner with it miserably stuffy? Management knew of the issue but chose not to do anything to mitigate the uncomfortable stay? Worried I had expected too much, I pulled the website up to “first in the US to feature indoor plumbing, HVAC, and electricity, so you’re sure to have an experience unlike any other!” We walked to the office, hoping to move where the comfort level matched the $293 we had paid for the night. Not one, sorry was given. The interaction with the office staff was the coldest customer service experience I’ve ever had. Remembering the number of positive reviews the Inn has received, I was so confused. They moved us to a cottage with two twin beds that were sagging and a blanket with white stains. We chose not to stay the night. I’m writing such a long review in hopes it will spark training and prevent further guests from having a poor experience. The grounds are lovely; it’s obvious the owners take pride in the property. We only had one night to get away and trusted in the claims made that the Inn at Cedar Falls was the right choice. Figuring the manager would want to know how poorly our stay was handled, we called and left a message for Nicole. Did not receive a return call.

Wonderful dining experience! Lovely a**osphere, good cocktails, and gourmet meal made for a unforgettable evening with friends. The chef even came to our table to check on our meal. The dining room was private and relaxed and the server paid attention to every detail.

The Treehouse Cabin was very cozy with a large family room with a fireplace, and large sofas, full kitchen with everything you would need to cook. the decks on two levels were great with a swing and chairs. We went out to see the stars at night and also watched the sunrise from the deck! the bedroom down the spiral staircase was cozy too. We could have spent more time there, but will definitely return!

Spa experience just ok. Not the best, but not the worst. Really did not enjoy the spa rooms. Massage therapist did not ask any questions or take medical history. Both my spouse and I noticed that they came in about 10 minutes after our massage was supposed to start. It wasn't a full 90 minute massage. Since it was just an okay massage that was all right. Kind of disappointed for the price that they charge and our experience. Didn't feel like professional spa felt like more like a mom and pop shop.
