Fantastic boutique hotel with excellent amenities, helpful staff, and delicious food. We had many moments of delight throughout the entire experience, from the warm welcome ceremony to the personalized hand-written card, as well as the thoughtfully provided in-room snacks and games. Everything felt authentic and carefully crafted to enhance our stay.

What an absolute cultural gem, right in the heart of Bhaktapur! Beautiful boutique property, the best in Bhaktapur, with high attention to detail. The owners are centuries old descendants that have created with great passion, not only a wonderful property, that distills a fusion of cultural artifacts and contemporary design but also curated travel experiences. the experiences are unique, support artisans, culinary tours and local community which give a rich and immersive experience of this cultural city. It was a truly wonderful stay and experience, well done

We had the most amazing experience at the Nanee. It is a slice of peaceful heaven in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Khatmandu! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, the rooms are exceptionally comfortable (akin to any Western hotel) and the food and drinks were delicious. We would stay here again and again - I cannot believe just how wonderful the stay was and how pleasantly surprised we were. Just the perfect experience.

What an absolute gem of a hotel! I loved absolutely everything about it, starting from the staff to the food to the details in the design. To start with, the staff was absolutely spectacular! They helped me find some things I needed for my stay, by walking me to the stores and places I needed them from. Who does that?!? On day 2 I fell ill, and they even went out of their way to find the meds I needed to get better and make me freshly squeezed orange juice. Rarely have I ever meet staff as friendly and kind as those at the Nanee. SUPERB is the only way to describe their service! The food was excellent as well, offering a simple, but effective blend of local flavors that hit all the right notes in my mouth. Only wish I could have eaten more. And the design: wow. Minimal, but sexy. It’s the exact type of boutique hotel that I love. The detail that the designers used and the attention to maintaining the cleanliness was completely unexpected, but absolutely welcomed. I’ve stayed at a number of hotels in general area, and this is by far my new favorite. I can’t wait to bring my family here for the next trip! This place is a hidden gem, and I think if you’re looking to get outside of Kathmandu, whist still staying near(ish) to the airport and a cultural heritage experience, you should absolutely consider staying at the Nanee!

This hotel is really, truly, lovely. The rooms are spacious and decked out with powerful AC that will cool you down. The showers are extravagent. There's a restaurant just off the lobby that has indoor and outdoor seating; the food is great. There's a rooftop with wonderful views of the valley where you can be served for food and beverage service. Finally, the staff are attentive and kind. They helped us organize transportation and they gave us recommendations about Bhaktapur and the surrounding area.

Very nice hotel. A good surprise. After the small corridor, you will discover an elegant hotel. New - clean. My room on two levels was great. Service at the wellcome desk and at the restaurant are very good. For sure, The Nanee hotel is a good place if you want to discover the city of Bhaktapur.👍

Do you want to be at the very best close to Durbar Square? Go here. The rooms are just like heaven and so is the service. And …. Best cappuccino in town! A great place tot discover this part of the Kathmandu Valley and a marvelous gateway tot the beauty of Nepal!

Wonderful stay at The Nanee. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I would recommend The Nanee for anyone looking for a stay in Bhaktapur or to get away from the hustle and bustle in Kathmandu for a while.

The Nanee feels like a up-market boutique hotel in Europe, but instead it is an oasis of refined calm in the noisy, beautiful, historic city of Bhaktapur. The rooms are arranged on three floors around a quiet central courtyard. They are spotless and modern, though they have nice touches reminding you of the ancient town. The staff are very attentive and helpful and the small restaurant in one of the best in the city. We stayed at the Nanee for the first two nights of our trip to Nepal. I can't think of a more comfortable way to ease into a Nepali adventure.
