Iriarte Jauregia

We stayed for one night as part of a marathon trip from the south of France to Portugal and it was such a nice stopping off point after a long day on the road. Our room was very comfortable but the one thing that places this hotel on the highest level is the food. We only ate in the bistro but the food was really good - particularly the beef stew - and completely hit the spot. Service was lovely too both at dinner and at breakfast (excellent!) the next morning before we hit the road again. The weather was rainy when we stayed but I’m sure the views from the hotel high in the mountains behind San Sebastián are to die for. Thoroughly recommend it.
