We booked this relatively last minute and on the recommendation it was family friendly. Rooms were very dated and badly decorated. The location was good, car parking available for £7.50 per night which is a shared driveway round back of hotel. The owner tried to be over helpful and it came over quite rude in the end we were glad to be leaving. The bed was comfy though, when you eventually dropped off! I would probably opt for a higher room if I visited again.

The hotel is just 5 or less mins walk to the city Center where you have the Blackpool tower. The owner was really good and very handy for any help. there was absolutely no need for tram or bus. I only took bus when going to the zoo. It was a straight bus to the zoo, £6 all day ticket. McDonald is down the street same with pound land, winter Garden was just behind. Pleasure beach might be 10 but less than 15 mins away for a slow walker. I will defend recommend this hotel.

Probably the best value for money guest house in Blackpool... For the price paid the Sleep Well has to be the finest value for money traditional guest house in Blackpool. Room ten was a compact double and spotlessly clean en suite room was dated in terms of décor, however benefitted from a comfortable bed, good shower, brilliant Wi-Fi, small television and for what you pay was excellent. They do not provide breakfast and there is no lift or ground floor rooms but that was expected. For a prompt check in inform the guest house of your time of arrival in advance or you might have a slight delay in gaining entry. Located on Albert Road a five minute walk from the town centre, the beach, the town centre, the Blackpool Tower and Ballroom plus the theatre you are centrally located for all that Blackpool has to offer. The railway station is a twenty minute walk or five to seven pound taxi ride away. Highly recommended value for money centrally located guest house

Very Bad hotel is looks abandoned and the room we had was covered in Mould around the beds and we weren’t in the hotel for even a hour and we had to leave on the same day and get a full Refund Definitely would not Recommend Staying here at all.

My stay in this room was awful! Room not clean,the shower head was full of lime scale,stains in the sink,the milk provided to us was off,very rude owner and just an over all horrible stay. Would not be in a rush to come back!

We stayed at Sleep Well Hotel for a weekend while attending a dance competition with my children. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. When we arrived, the owner initially seemed pleasant and helpful. We paid for weekend parking at the hotel, which we were told would be available for our stay. However, on the second evening, after returning from a long day at the competition, getting the children settled, and going to bed myself, the owner knocked on my door at around 11pm and told me I needed to get dressed and move my car immediately. He explained another guest wanted to use the parking space so they could come and go freely, meaning my car would instead be blocked in for the rest of the weekend. I tried to explain that my children were asleep and that I had already paid for the parking space, but he insisted I had to move the car. I was left with no choice but to leave my sleeping children in the room and walk up the street and down a dark lane behind the hotel to move my car. After an exhausting day, this was extremely stressful and upsetting. From that point on, I could not use my car for the remainder of our stay. The next morning we discovered the shower was freezing cold. I had to call the owner to come and help. After waiting for him to arrive and then waiting another 10–15 minutes while he ran taps and the shower in the room, the water eventually became only lukewarm. He told me that would have to do. By this point we were nearly late for the competition and had no option but to make do. The following morning we packed our bags early (around 7:30am) as we had another full day at the competition. The owner then approached me and attempted to take the room key, despite checkout not being until 10am. I explained that my teenage daughter was still in the room getting ready and that we hadn’t finished with it. He insisted, saying he would get her himself. When he saw her on the stairs he again demanded the key. I said I needed to check the room first to make sure we hadn’t left anything behind, but he took the key anyway and told me to call him if anything was missing. My car also remained blocked in until around 1pm, when the other guest finally moved their vehicle — something that only happened after I insisted. There were also other issues during our stay. Late on Saturday night the owner stood outside our room talking very loudly on his mobile phone, and someone arrived with a crying baby who was not even a guest. Additionally, the main bedroom light did not work, meaning we had to rely on a small dresser light for the entire stay. I remained polite throughout, but I felt consistently dismissed and treated very poorly. I understand this is Blackpool and was not expecting luxury, but basic courtesy and respect for paying guests should be a given. This was by far the worst hotel stay I have experienced. I would strongly advise others to avoid staying here, particularly families or single parents

The sleepwell is by far the best place e we have stayed in Blackpool. We have now statement 3 times and would highly recommend it. The owner is very friendly and helpful and the place itself is very clean and welcoming. Excellent value for money.. Thankyou for another lovely stay!

Visited Blackpool for 2 nights and stayed at the sleep well hotel again. Nice hotel clean and comfortable and the manager very friendly. Central to everything that Blackpool offers. Would certainly return here in the future. Value for money and good parking rates.

My husband stayed for one night at this hotel very recently. Unfortunately he was unable to stay for the further 2 nights he booked & had no option but to return home early due to a family member's illness. I booked a budget room, so you get what you pay for I suppose. It was a tiny room even for a sole traveller. However it was spotlessly clean and thats the main thing. I do feel the amount my husband paid was a bit on the high side. Given the fact we are regular visitors to Blackpool and like to stay in Albert Road for the convenience of the Tower & central pier etc. For a budget double room it's probably an okay price to pay!! We would not return however I would most certainly not deter anyone else who are looking to book to go ahead.

Lovely little hotel! Both me and my partner had no complaints! We also was late as traffic was bad and the friendly owner had no problem in this! Even let us check out later which was lovely as we have a 5 hour drive home. Owner was very friendly nothing was a bother to him, grabbed us tea, sugar and toilet rolls straight away! Bed was comfortable and room was clean and warm. Wifi worked well. Not far from cafes for breakfast! Near the town, North & Central piers! Would definitely recommend and return to his hotel! 😊

You get what you pay for, we stayed here for 2 nights for my daughters dance comp at winter gardens Pros - location is fantastic right next to winter gardens - onsite parking around the back - cheema the owner is a top guy and sorted out parking for entire stay much cheaper than other places - room was generally clean - room was warm and heating was on while we were there - beds were actually super comfy! To be fair I have listed some negatives however these would not stop me from staying again - room decor - could be updated but as I said hotel was significantly cheaper than others on Albert road - bathroom - was very small so took some manoeuvres to get around especially as a bigger guy but still managed to use shower with plenty of hot water Would deffo stay again if ever at winter gardens so don’t be put off by the decor etc
