My husband stayed for one night at this hotel very recently. Unfortunately he was unable to stay for the further 2 nights he booked & had no option but to return home early due to a family member's illness. I booked a budget room, so you get what you pay for I suppose. It was a tiny room even for a sole traveller. However it was spotlessly clean and thats the main thing. I do feel the amount my husband paid was a bit on the high side. Given the fact we are regular visitors to Blackpool and like to stay in Albert Road for the convenience of the Tower & central pier etc. For a budget double room it's probably an okay price to pay!! We would not return however I would most certainly not deter anyone else who are looking to book to go ahead.

Lovely little hotel! Both me and my partner had no complaints! We also was late as traffic was bad and the friendly owner had no problem in this! Even let us check out later which was lovely as we have a 5 hour drive home. Owner was very friendly nothing was a bother to him, grabbed us tea, sugar and toilet rolls straight away! Bed was comfortable and room was clean and warm. Wifi worked well. Not far from cafes for breakfast! Near the town, North & Central piers! Would definitely recommend and return to his hotel! 😊

You get what you pay for, we stayed here for 2 nights for my daughters dance comp at winter gardens Pros - location is fantastic right next to winter gardens - onsite parking around the back - cheema the owner is a top guy and sorted out parking for entire stay much cheaper than other places - room was generally clean - room was warm and heating was on while we were there - beds were actually super comfy! To be fair I have listed some negatives however these would not stop me from staying again - room decor - could be updated but as I said hotel was significantly cheaper than others on Albert road - bathroom - was very small so took some manoeuvres to get around especially as a bigger guy but still managed to use shower with plenty of hot water Would deffo stay again if ever at winter gardens so don’t be put off by the decor etc

What a nice place :) We stayed at The Sleep Well from the 14th to the 20th this month. It was nice and clean and the host was a lovely and friendly man. He upgraded us to a bigger room when we arrived, which was amazing, the beds were nice and comfortable we really did sleep well. We found the place to be quiet and peaceful so we were not disturbed throughout the night. The host was very accommodating and checked in with us to see if we needed anything, he even dried our clothes for us in his commercial dryer when we got soaked on the Valhalla ride at Pleasure Beach. And he let us leave our bags there for a few hours after check out. We had a truly great experience staying here, it was very affordable and overall just a little gem of a place to stay. We highly recommend it :)

Just got back from this crap hotel. The hole stay was a misery, stayed in the family room ( num 1 )... no heating on whats so ever, asked him, and he said no because it heats all the rooms up ( we had a 2 year old ), and he still said no... beds are like sleeping on the kitchen table, bathroom was very small and the shower was terrible, very loud people above our room banging and shouting all night upto 4am, again owner doesn't check on this but lives in the same hotel on the ground floor, owner helped himself into your room once you left to visit the arcades, 2nd night I set a trap and it was disturbed by the time we got back, our family members had a room next to us and the owner followed them up to their room once they come in at 11:10 and was on his camera stating they had kicked the single bed leaving a rip on the fabric... how would he know that if they had the keys in there pocket 🤔. He is very rude and will not be staying or recommend this hotel at all.

Very friendly and polite staff, rooms were ready as soon as we got there, they were very clean and well presented, towels and toiletries were provided, parking was very reasonable, good value for money, a very nice stay. Stayed as a family, children were very welcome.

Just spent three nights there, adequate hotel, rooms are okay, just what you would expect really .... the hotel doesn't pretend to be something it isn't, but it is great value for money, and is very handily placed .... it doesn't offer breakfast, but I found that to be no problem as there are plenty of cafes etc nearby ..... and the owner, Cheema is a gem of a guy, very polite, helpful and attentitve, should you experience any problems during your stay.

We booked a lengthy stay at this hotel based on the positive reviews, particularly the comfort. Let’s look at the positives first: Location - The location was great for us, as a *** couple it’s a short walk from the *** bars, as well as the general nightlife, beach, shopping, theatres, restaurants, north pier, arcades etc. If you’re wanting to go to the pleasure beach rides they are quite a walk from here. Friendliness of staff – We were given the phone number and were able to text the manager. He was always friendly. Aesthetics – The room did look how we expected, nicely decorated and a 4 poster bed in situ, though a little tired in some places and in need of a touch up. Space – The room was spacious (we booked the largest room) and had an abundance of storage space in drawers, wardrobe and bedside tables. Bathroom – Good shower with plenty of hot water. Cleanliness – The room was mostly clean, though a little dusty in places. Entertainment – The TV was large and had all the freeview channels. The wifi was mostly reliable and at times when it was slow we found it worked better in public areas. The negatives: Sleep quality – We booked a premium room with a 4 poster bed. Unfortunately the mattress was one of the worst we’ve ever experienced. There were actually 2 mattresses in the room, one on top of the other, we switched them and the one underneath was marginally more comfortable, however we had little and very poor quality sleep and were uncomfortable. Part way through the stay we were able to switch mattresses with one from another room (after the manager was disinterested in my feedback as to the discomfort) so not all of them in the hotel are as bad as the one we started with. If you’re lucky you might get a comfortable one. In addition to the mattress, the bedding was not very warm and the pillows were old. Cleanliness – Although the room was reasonably clean, there was a lot of black mould on the window, which is unacceptable. Room Temperature – At check in, we were informed that the central heating was switched off because of it being ‘a quiet period’. This was odd since there was a ‘no vacancies’ sign on the window (this was also later contradicted when the manager informed us the hotel was full when I expressed my concerns about the mattress), but even if true, why would you not just switch the radiators off in the unoccupied rooms instead of the entire building? The manager provided us with a small heater, which in fairness was adequate to heat the room but he said we had to switch it off at night and when we were out, not unreasonable exactly, but it meant that every time we went out we returned to a cold room and the room was cold to wake up to and when getting out of bed in the night. The bedding was not the warmest so this was far from ideal. The manager’s attitude at this point made us feel like we had to worry about the electricity bill the way we have been doing at home, when we’re on holiday and have paid

£49 for 1 night - 2 people, room only. Top floor room with only a very small window for ventilation, it was stiflingly hot! Both woke up several times sweating with the heat. Sleep well we did not sadly. Decor is very out of date and seriously in need of upgrading. Also charged extra £7.50 to park, which I thought was a bit tight when you have paid to stay at the hotel. Management friendly enough, but have to say it wasn't for us.
