The hotel is very conveniently located, with excellent transportation links, making travel very easy. The room was very clean and tidy, with no odors. It was a comfortable stay, and the value for money was excellent, making it a great choice for both travel and short business trips.
GGuest UserA beautiful classy old school hotel. The single room was perfectly adequate with a large comfortable bed and a large bathroom with good quality fittings.
The food and service in the restaurant was excellent.
The hotel is about a 15 minute walk across a park to the historic centre. The location means that it's very peaceful and I slept well. All in all a great stay and I would definitely return should I visit Graz again.
GGuest UserAfter a long trip you come to the hotel and just want to check in without problems. Unfortunately, this was not the case. A staff member told me hard that breakfast was not included in the price and does not even try to explain why. Simply, despite evidence, he said differently... Fortunately, the next day, another employee was and explained to me how and what is. Then the matter was quickly resolved.
Frokost costs €12.90, and there are no hot dishes (e.g. sauce, eggs, etc.). Only bread, sauce and sweets... cooked eggs were cold! ... so better elsewhere breakfast than in the hotel...
RRolandinhoOnly suited for people with small luggage. We had 2 suitcases and it was basically impossible to conveniently handle and open even one large suitcase in our hotel room.
We had no housekeeping after our first night. I don't know if this is normal or not.
Our courtyard room was quiet but a bit dark. Staff was nice.
After all, we weren't sad about leaving this hotel after two nights.
MMaxim.MThe Hotel is located right at the center, with everything in the walking distance. There's a great gym and nice sauna (unfortunately without a pool). Rooms are spacious and modern. The Staff is amazing, we felt welcome at every moment. Breakfast is very good, and the restaurant was open even on Christmas eve. Overall I will highly recommend the Hotel.
One tip: Nearby parking is expensive: it's best to use free P&R which is ~30 min by bus.
GGuest UserThe Hotel Daniel is a hotel for business travelers. We were 2 families and stayed for two nights. The service was recorded. Our suitcases were taken from us immediately and taken to a locked room (both on arrival and departure). This was particularly helpful as we arrived/departed by car.
TTenzin QuekLovely hotel in a historic setting. Pity there’s no slippers provided. We spent over half hour trying to find the parking lot only to find the it’s just located by driving into the K&O shopping centre next to the hotel. Beats the heck out of following the hotel issued map.
GGuest UserMy stay at the Wiesler Hotel went beyond my expectations. I booked the tiny room because I am not fussy about having a big room. When I entered the room I was disappointed because the bed was above ground level and that it's a no no for lumbago sufferers, such as I. The size was actually quite decent, certainly no 'tiny' at all, and so was the bathroom but the bed put me off. I walked down to the reception desk, and I asked for an upgrade. I told the senior gentleman at the desk (could he be the general manager or even the owner?) that I did no like the bed without footboard. He was most understanding and he issued 2 keys for me to check and to choose from the Comfort bedroom and the Grand bedroom. I chose the former -the bed had a proper footboard, legs and headboard. He offered me to stay at the Grand for the same price of the Comfort, I was very pleased by the kind offer but I said that I was happy to go for the Comfort. As he insisted I accepted the Grand bedroom, which has the size of a one-bed apartment.
The location is spot on: it's right in the city centre with views to the river Mur in front. I had the buffet breakfast in my last day too and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good quality and varied breakfast.
I've tried the local red wine too at the bar in the lounge, which was excellent and at a surprising low price- after all this is Austria!
The decoration of the rooms aren't the typical you find in a 4 stars hotel with history and the curious eye has seen in the lobby's beautiful colour lithographs that the hotel has changed its style a few times over the last century. But it won't put me off to stay back tat the Weisler next time I am in Graz.
GGuest UserVery clean and well-maintained—both the hotel and the room! Just a heads-up: there’s no aircon, only a fan. It was cool enough for me, but my friend felt it was a bit warm since we visited during summer. The hotel might look a little dated in photos, but in person it’s airy, and doesn’t have any musty smell at all.
The location is excellent—just a short walk to the Old Town, with plenty of eateries right next to the hotel. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. For the price I paid, I’d say it’s definitely worth it—especially with free breakfast included!
I love the old school key system but it’s super heavy.
AAngela_OrsinoIt was very close to the station, the location was easy to understand, and the entrance to the room was also a PIN type, so it was very convenient without having to carry the key.
The reception at check-in check-out was friendly and easy to talk to and pleasant.
Perhaps because I made an early reservation, it was cheap at about 7500 yen per night in Austria, which is expensive, but the room was surprisingly large and clean, and the water pressure in the shower was fine and comfortable.
I didn't have breakfast, but there is Billa PLUS right across the street and there is SPAR at the station, so if I bought bread and drinks the day before, there was no problem.
However, since there was no refrigerator in the room, I think it was a defect in the ball that I had to leave the yogurt and drink I bought at room temperature.
Also, maybe it was because it was only 2 nights, but when I returned on the 2 day, I thought that the bed was made up, but the towel was not replaced.
Well, even if you say dissatisfaction, it's at best that's the extent, so considering the convenience, I think the repeat rate is high.
