The most perfect hotel for this trip. Because I like to feel the ethnic characteristics, I fell in love with this hotel at first sight. I was a little nervous when booking. From the moment I entered the door, I knew it would be worth the trip. I highly recommend it. The whole building is like a work of art. As soon as you enter the lobby, you will see pure wool carpets and hand-carved wood. The public area alone is dazzling. The room layout is also very meticulous. The hand-carved big bed is very exquisite, the mattress is super comfortable, and all kinds of furniture and soft furnishings are very attentive. I like to pay attention to the details of the hotel, so the washing and care of Aqua de Parma hits my heart, even the razor is Gillette. The housekeeper is also very considerate, the service is considerate and thoughtful, and the breakfast is also very good. Although there are only four of us in the off-season, the breakfast preparation is also very rich, and the hand-cut beef is great. Every place in the hotel is suitable for taking pictures and checking in. It’s a pity that I didn’t bring my baby this time. I will definitely bring my baby to check in next time. The texture of oil painting is too good. I also gave a souvenir before leaving, and once again felt the hospitality of Xinjiang. In short, it is recommended!

It's right next to the bustling Liuxing Street, so you can walk to the old town, yet it's perfectly quiet at night, completely undisturbed by the tourist hustle. A taxi from the airport only takes 15 minutes, making transfers super convenient. The housekeeper was incredibly thoughtful. They welcomed us with local snacks, shared detailed tips for exploring, and even gave us special local souvenirs when we checked out. Plus, there's a free airport drop-off service – they really pay attention to the details. The room was spacious and clean, with walls and bedding featuring unique rhombus geometric patterns from Yili, giving it a strong local feel. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The hotel breakfast was decent, but with so many local specialty restaurants nearby, there were endless dining options. The amenities are also great for families, with self-service laundry that's convenient and hassle-free, a kids' play area, and a card room. On days when we didn't have plans, just relaxing at the guesthouse was comfortable, allowing us to slowly soak in the leisurely pace of Yili. It was a very healing accommodation experience.

The rooms are spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and natural light fills the entire space, truly realizing the dream of ”sleeping in the scenery.” What surprised me most was that Baiyunjian B&B not only provides high-quality accommodation, but also incorporates rich local cultural experiences. There are free ethnic costumes to wear, and the boss has good photography skills. The area where the homestay is located has convenient transportation. It is very convenient whether you go to Nalati Grassland, Kalajun Scenic Area, or visit Liuxing Street and Kazanqi Folk Village in Yining City. Baiyunjian B&B is not only a place to stay, but also an unforgettable travel experience. If you plan to drive to Yili, it is highly recommended to stay here and experience the perfect fusion of nature and humanity!

A nice hotel that has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room is cozy with warm downlights, and a thoughtful design feature where all lights can be turned off at night, but motion-sensor backlighting automatically guides you to the bathroom when you walk—very practical and well designed. I didn’t book the room with breakfast initially, but they had a breakfast promotion available on the spot, which turned out to be quite worth it. The breakfast selection was good with quite a lot of variety, including a noodle station. One thing that really impressed me was the “invisible staff” at the laundry room. I placed my clothes in the washing machine with a sticky note, and when I returned to move them to the dryer, everything had already been transferred. After drying, my clothes were neatly folded and placed in a basket. It was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, a very convenient and well-managed stay.

The room is good, the bathroom has the smell of the sewer. It should be not handled well. A suite cannot be changed. The landlord’s aunt is very enthusiastic. The breakfast is also a special local breakfast. They make it good-looking and delicious. There are no restaurants around. You have to go far 😂 But the neighborhood in the village is beautiful. Even in Yining, Xinjiang, the Intercontinental Hualuxe maintains the consistent high standards of an IHG brand hotel. We traveled a long way with our friends, arriving in Yining from Urumqi after 4 PM. The lovely manager at the front desk (a Uyghur lady) immediately helped us check in. Seeing that we were a family of three with a lot of luggage, she even upgraded us to a deluxe twin room and gave us a complimentary breakfast 🍳. The hospitality of the Xinjiang people was truly evident. That evening, being unfamiliar with the area, we decided to dine at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. They offered a blend of Xinjiang and Cantonese cuisine. As someone from Guangdong, I was delighted to find an authentic 'Yang Zhi Gan Lu' (mango pomelo sago) dessert 🍨 – it was absolutely five-star amazing! We will definitely choose to stay at the Intercontinental Hualuxe again when we return from the grasslands and canyons! ~👍

Our trip to Yining led us to the 'Slow Time' B&B in Liuxing Street. The location was perfect – right outside were popular restaurants, and it was very close to the East Gate and a parking lot, making it super convenient for getting around, dining, and parking. The B&B's design was incredibly thoughtful; the owner did a fantastic job blending ethnic styles with modern simplicity. With the carpets, tiles, and vintage lighting, photos came out great even without filters. The hygiene and facilities were also impeccable, clearly showing the owner's refined taste. In the evening, we listened to street music and danced with the minority girls from the restaurant, making for a lively atmosphere. We woke up to the sunlight and the smell of freshly baked *baozi* – now that's the right way to vacation!

Yili Hotel is actually a formal reception venue primarily for business travelers and official guests. It's only open to regular tourists when there are no special events. The hotel has its own garden, and you can drive in directly without parking fees. Only at night will the gatekeeper need to confirm your entry. There are plenty of parking spaces inside. While it faces the common issue of hotels having aging facilities, Building 3, where our standard room was located, is generally quite new and appears to have been recently renovated. The breakfast area and suites are in the tall Building 2. The gym is in Building 6, with only a few treadmills and no dumbbells or other strength training equipment. Given the small space, that's probably all they could fit. There's also a supermarket, souvenir shop, and laundry room nearby. Breakfast offers a wide variety, though it wasn't entirely to my taste, and I don't recall seeing coffee. However, for tourists visiting Xinjiang, the exotic offerings are more than enough. The price for a standard room is only slightly higher than an all-season hotel in Yining, but the decor and amenities are significantly better. Overall, accommodation in Yining isn't cheap. My mother, who is in her sixties, was very happy staying here. She felt Yili Hotel was the best place she'd stayed in for days (though I personally prefer more modern and light-luxury style hotels).

Traveling solo, I stayed for three nights and found the place to be quite clean. It's not far from Six-Star Street, which is a convenient walk. For Kazanqi, you'll need a taxi, and Sayram Lake is about 150km away by car. The front desk staff were all very helpful and friendly. A big thanks to them for helping me send a package (I couldn't fit it all in my luggage for the flight). P.S. There's a minced meat noodles shop near the hotel that is absolutely delicious, haha~

This hotel was perfect for our family trip to Yining with our elderly parents and young child! The room was spacious enough for a crib, and the cleanliness meant we didn't have to worry about our child touching everything. The free parking easily accommodated our SUV, and the self-service laundry was a lifesaver for washing our child's dirty clothes. Breakfast included soft congee and pastries, and the staff even helped us with the stroller – so thoughtful!
