From the first moment, i had such an excellent time at Blue Dove. I chose the place for the incredible design of the place, the location within Kazankh ancient town, and the reference to Doves... I left with so much more! The owner and her husband were so helpful and brought ice coffees for me and my dad when we arrived, which was so welcome. They had local treats and fruit to try and a wonderful sense of community. They helped us arrange a driver to Qionkushtai and packed us a breakfast to go, with coffee :) Every detail has been carefully considered and it was a joy to stay at Blue Dove. I consider owner Wen to be my friend and look forward to visiting again. I highly recommend!

A True Hidden Gem – The Best Stay of My Xinjiang Trip! Out of my entire journey across Xinjiang, this homestay was by far the most memorable and heartwarming experience. The moment I stepped into the beautifully decorated home, with its stunning blue hues, traditional Uyghur details, and peaceful courtyard covered by a canopy of vines, I instantly felt at ease. It truly felt like home. What made it even more special was the incredible hospitality. The owner was exceptionally friendly, always ready with a warm smile and willing to help with anything I needed—whether it was sharing local tips, helping with transportation, or simply chatting over tea. Their kindness made me feel not just like a guest, but like part of the family. The attention to detail in every corner, the peaceful swing in the courtyard, and the cozy atmosphere created the perfect setting to relax after a day of exploring. I can’t recommend this place enough—if you’re traveling through Xinjiang and want to experience genuine warmth and culture, this is the place to be.

The location is a little bit hidden in an alley, however I love how it is nestled among the local restaurants and houses, you get to see how the people live on the daily basis. Otherwise the room is clean, amenities are great too. If you are a light-sleeper, it can be a little bit noisy since it is located near houses. But overall, it is a great guesthouse if you would like a place near town as a base for your travel. The owner’s daugther though..despite my limited Mandarin, she went away and beyond to help me with literally everything from booking a bus, and communicating with a DiDi driver to mail my AirPod which I had left in the car at a different city!  She arranged for it to be sent to my next location which I had book prior, ensured that the postman gave the mail to me personally by phonecall. She is one of the sweetest person I have met during my solo travel to China.

I stayed here for over a week and absolutely loved it! The ladies working here were all incredibly warm and charming. We even went shopping together and had some late-night skewers. The hotel's decor is beautiful, and being surrounded by local ethnic minorities really allowed me to immerse myself in the local customs. It was truly wonderful!

Yining is such a wonderful place, with amazing people and beautiful scenery. There's also a lot of delicious food. This hotel is right in the city center, very close to Liuxing Street, which is super convenient. The hotel itself is clean and has a great atmosphere. The staff are all incredibly enthusiastic, providing excellent and thoughtful service. They even helped me dry my clothes! The washing machine and dryer worked perfectly, so I had clean clothes to wear the very next day. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

I stayed for 8 nights and absolutely loved every moment of it. The room was really clean and comfortable. It had a lot of space (even for me to do yoga in the room), and it had a lot of sunlight. The amount of sunlight was really important for me because I was working for about half the time there and spent a lot of time in the room. The desk made it very convenient for working. Now for the much more important part - the host was amazing. I was sad to leave because we formed a bond in the short time that we were there. She took us to the local bazaars, treated us to local delicacies, and showed us so much generosity and warmth. The food at the guesthouse is also amazing. I had many meals there because I was busy working and found all the dishes to be delicious and the portions very generous. I would come back to Yining just for this. I would be lucky if I had the opportunity to stay here again.

The room was clean and tidy, the space was quite large, but on the roadside, the noise affected sleep. Parking is convenient, the stay is fast, the room is more comfortable, the price is not expensive, the environment is good, the room is clean, the first choice for staying, satisfied. The hotel service is very good, very warm, the service attitude is very good, the health is very clean, close to the scenic spot, the access is very convenient, the overall is very comfortable. The hotel is clean, spacious and bright, the facilities are convenient, the service is good, nothing to say, warm, efficient, basically responsive, mainly affordable, parking is free, and the stay is very satisfactory!

Great hotel. There is an open space to chill in the evening. The girls on the reception were here helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator with no problem. Only 3 minute walk from great food street, where you can try traditional food. There is drinkable water next ro the reception. The location is right in the center 1km from the long bus terminal and 6km from the railway station. But from the left and right side of the hotel you can have a nice walk in the city. If you are from Europe there is a chance to not be able to connect to the WiFi. Just FYI.

The front desk staff is very nice. The hotel is located in a flowery area. The surrounding snacks are also very convenient. The room is very clean. It is worth recommending. I will stay in this hotel every time I come to Yining.

It is a good hostel. However, they have to take care of the daily validating room keys. People go out to the washroom in the middle of the night, and even if they paid for the following day, they get locked, and they can't get in. Regardless of how many days you pay for, you need to get your room key validated, which is a redundant and unnecessary thing to do.it is very frustrating, too. Last night, a girl from the dorm went to the washroom at 3 a.m., and she got locked out until morning when other people in the room woke up to get her in. Also, for these unfortunate circumstances, there is nobody in the reception area to take care of it. I stayed 6 nights, and every day, I had to reactivate the room key. That is something the hostel must pay attention to it or fix it. Otherwise, it is a clean please to stay at.
